    Schuetzen Park located on the boarder of Union City and North Bergen, is a privately owned park that has existed since 1874. The German-American Volksfest has taken place there annually since its construction. In a 1911 ad in which it is called Sch�tzen Park proprietor Fred Hager claimed it as the "largest park of its kind in New Jersey", offering 600 x 200 feet rifle ranges, 10 modern bowling alleys, and three dancing pavilions, which could accommodate roughly 50,000 people. The park also contained a variety of attractions, such as vaudeville performances, parades, fireworks and tournaments. Today the park is used for banquets, weddings, receptions, and public sporting events such as boxing and mixed martial arts matches.Original file name IMG_1936 (1).jp

The calculated bond lenth, DeD_{e} and ωe\omega_{e} for the first three states of ScH+ScH^{+} are [FIGURE] We calsulate the bond length in (1A1)ScH2+(^{1}A_{1})ScH^{+}_{2} to be 1.75\AA with an HScHH-Sc-H angle of 105.6105.6^{\circ}. While ScH2+ScH_{2}^{+} is strongly bond relative to ScH++HScH^{+}+H, preliminary results suggest the reaction ScH2+Sc++H2ScH_{2}^{+}\rightarrow Sc^{+}+H_{2} is isoergic.     A genetikai kutatások egyik közkedvelt modellszervezete az Sch. pombe, e fajban számos mutáns törzs és géntúltermelésre alkalmas DNS konstrukció áll rendelkezésünkre, ami viszont nem mondható el az Sch. japonicus-ról. Ezért a célom a Sch. japonicus egyik szelekcióra is alkalmas génjének, a leu1 génnek, illetve a gén és szegélyi szekvenciáinak a klónozása volt. A klónozott leu1 gént túltermelő vektorba építettük, majd egy leu1 mutáns Sch. pombe törzsbe transzformáltuk, azt vizsgáltuk, hogy vajon a Sch. japonicus és Sch. pombe leu1 génjei között elég nagyfokú-e a szekvencia azonosság ahhoz, hogy funkcionálisan is helyettesítsék egymást. Eredményeink azt mutatják, hogy a 84,4%-os szekvencia hasonlóság nem volt elegendő ahhoz, hogy a Sch. japonicus génje működjön a Sch. pombe-ban. A gén és szegélyi szekvenciáinak klónozása a későbbiekben a gén megszakítására és a kromoszómális gén homológ rekombinációval való lecserélésére adna lehetőséget, ami egy leu1 deléciós mutáns törzset eredményezhetne a Sch. japonicus-ban.gjBiológus (MSc)MSc/M

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
