Vedat Türkali’nin hayatı, eserleri ve sanatı, 1. cilt
06.03.2018 tarihli ve 30352 sayılı Resmi Gazetede yayımlanan “Yükseköğretim Kanunu İle Bazı Kanun Ve Kanun Hükmünde Kararnamelerde Değişiklik Yapılması Hakkında Kanun” ile 18.06.2018 tarihli “Lisansüstü Tezlerin Elektronik Ortamda Toplanması, Düzenlenmesi ve Erişime Açılmasına İlişkin Yönerge” gereğince tam metin erişime açılmıştır.Bu çalışmada Vedat Türkali'nin hayatı, eserleri ve sanat anlayışı incelenmiştir. Çalışmamız üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Ayrıca çalışmamızda giriş, sonuç, kaynakça ve ekler başlıklı bölümler yer almaktadır. Giriş bölümünde neden bu tez konusunun seçildiği, kapsamı, yöntemi ve hedefleri belirtilmiştir. Birinci bölümde yazarın hayatı ve politik fikirleri anlatılmıştır. Burada yazarın ailesinin geçmişi ve aile bireyleri, yazarın çocukluğu, eğitimi, evliliği ve ölümüne kadar geçen ömrü anlatılmıştır. Yazar politik bir kişi olduğu için ve eserleri de onun politik tutumunu yansıtır şekilde kurgulanmıştır. Bu nedenle onun politik fikirleri ve faaliyetlerine de bu bölümde yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde eserleri anlatılmıştır. Vedat Türkali sinema, tiyatro ve edebiyat alanında eser vermiştir. Bu bölümde onun eserlerinin tanıtımlarına, eserleriyle ilgili eleştirel yorumlara ve kendisinin eserleriyle ilgili görüşlerine yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde eserlerinin yapı ve içerik olarak incelemesine yer verilmiştir. Bu bölümde yazarın romanları, şiirleri, oyunları incelenmiştir. Bu yapılırken aynı türden olan metinlerin kendi aralarında karşılaştırmalı incelemesi yapılmıştır. Örneğin roman başlığı altında yazarın sekiz romanında zamanın nasıl işlendiği "zaman" başlığı altında karşılaştırmalı olarak işlenmiştir. Roman, senaryo ve oyunları dışındaki eserleri de "Diğer Eserleri" başlığı altında incelenmiştir. Bu başlık altında bir anı kitabı, Kürt sorunu ile ilgili iki kitabı ve yazarın sanat, edebiyat ve politika konularındaki yazı, konuşma ve söyleşilerini derlediği kitapları anlatılmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde yazar ve eserleri hakkında ulaştığımız fikirlere yer verilmiştir. Kaynakçada, tezi yazarken kullandığımız kaynaklara yer verilmiştir. Ekler bölümünde ise yazar ile ilgili bazı arşivlerden edindiğimiz belgelere yer verilmiştir. Also our study contain input, output, bibliography and appendix headlines. The input section indicated that why was this thesis chosen, its extent, method and purpose. The first section process life of the author and his political ideas. This part consist of author's family history, family members, author's childhood, his education, his marriage and the time elapsed until his death. The author was a politic person and he reflected his political attitude to the his works. Therefore his political ideas and activities mentioned in this section.The second section contain the author's works. Vedat TURKALI has works on cinema, drama, and literature. This section contain introduction of his work, critical comments and his ideas about his works.The third section review the works in terms of structure and content. In this section the author's novels, poems, and dramas are analyzed. When this is done, at the same time a comparison study between the texts of the same genre has been made. For example under the title of novel how the time was handled in the author's eight novels was compiled under the title 'Time'. Except his novels, scripts and drama works, he handled his other works under the headline 'Other Works'. Under this headline his compiled works such as a book of memories, two books about Kurdish issue and author's work of art, literature, political writings, speeches and communes are informed. Output section consist of ideas that we learned about author and his works. Bibliography section includes the sources when thesis was being written, Appendix section includes documents from some archives related to the author. An investigation on Vedat Örfi Bengü's novels
Hazırlamış olduğumuz bu tezin konusunu Cumhuriyet devri sanatçılarından Vedat Örfi Bengü'nün romanları üzerine yapılmış bir inceleme oluşturur.Amacımız edebiyat tarihimizin seyri içerisinde yazarımızın romanlarıyla aldığı yeri belirlemektir. Romanları incelerken klasik roman inceleme metodunu kullandık. Yaptığımız inceleme neticesinde de popülist bir anlayışla kaleme alınan bu romanların, devrinin ihtiyaçlarına ve isteklerine uygun olarak yazılmış olduğunu gördük..Kimi zaman öğreticilik rolü de üstlenen yazarın romanlarını dramatik özelliklere de sahip olan, aşk ve ıstırap romanları, zabıta romanları ve macera romanları oluşturur.This thesis that we prepared covers the novels of Vedat Örfi Bengü who is an artist of Republic era. Our purpose is to determine the standing of our author via his novels through our literature history. We used classical novel analysis method while we are analyzing the novels. As a result of this work, we observed that the novels prepared with a populist understanding were satisfying the needs and wishes of that era. The novels of this author, who sometimes has didactic role, consist of love & drama, police and adventure novels having dramatic properties
The Scope of Dissociative Disorders: An International Perspective
International research has documented the universality of dissociative disorders. Not only are dissociative disorders common in various countries but they are also clinically similar in different cultures. Differences may exist, however, between starting points of interest among dissociation researchers in various countries. Beside dissociative identity disorder, somatoform dissociation has been a major study area in The Netherlands, Turkey, and Germany. Dissociative psychosis was the starting point for dissociation studies in Turkey, whereas depersonalization disorder currently is the most studied dissociative disorder in the United Kingdom. Natural gas reserve/production ratio in Russia, Iran, Qatar and Turkmenistan: A political and economic perspective
Esen, Vedat (Arel Author)In this study, changes in natural gas reserve/production ratio (R/P) of the four countries having the highest natural gas reserves (Russia, Iran, Qatar, Turkmenistan), the importance of which increases in the world market each day due to developing technology and the demand for clean energy, has been analyzed depending on the economic and political developments in national and international fields. Change of R/P ratio depending on years has been displayed on graphics from different sources and these alterations have been tried to be associated with such issues as natural gas agreements in history, handover of political authority, economic crises etc. Therefore; it has been put forward whether or not political and economic changes of the countries are factors on the amount of natural gas production and the discovery of new reserve fields with the addition aim of providing a general overview on natural gas market
Formation and Functions of Alter Personalities in Dissociative Identity Disorder: A Theoretical and Clinical Elaboration
Developmental trauma, complex PTSD, and the current proposal of DSM-5
This paper evaluates representation of clinical consequences of developmental psychological trauma in the current proposal of DSM-5. Despite intensive efforts by its proponents for two decades, it is not known yet if Complex PTSD will take a place in the final version of DSM-5. Recognition of dissociative character of several symptom dimensions and introduction of items about negative affects such as shame and guilt imply an indirect improvement toward better coverage of the consequences of developmental trauma in the existing category of PTSD. As disorders with highest prevalence of chronic traumatization in early years of life, dissociative disorders and personality disorder of borderline type are maintained as DSM-5 categories; however, recognition of a separate type of trauma-related personality disorder is unlikely. While a preschooler age variant of PTSD is under consideration, the proposed diagnosis of Developmental Trauma Disorder (child version of Complex PTSD) has not secured a place in the DSM-5 yet. We welcome considerations of subsuming Adjustment Disorders, Acute Stress Disorder, PTSD, and Dissociative Disorders under one rubric, i.e., Section of Trauma, Stress, or Event Related Disorders. Given the current conceptualization of DSM-5, this paper proposes Complex PTSD to be a subtype of the DSM-5 PTSD. Composition of a trauma-related disorders section would facilitate integration of knowledge and expertise about interrelated and overlapping consequences of trauma
Epidemiology of Dissociative Disorders: An Overview
General psychiatric assessment instruments do not cover DSM-IV dissociative disorders. Many large-scale epidemiological studies led to biased results due to this deficit in their methodology. Nevertheless, screening studies using diagnostic tools designed to assess dissociative disorders yielded lifetime prevalence rates around 10% in clinical populations and in the community. Special populations such as psychiatric emergency ward applicants, drug addicts, and women in prostitution demonstrated the highest rates. Data derived from epidemiological studies also support clinical findings about the relationship between childhood adverse experiences and dissociative disorders. Thus, dissociative disorders constitute a hidden and neglected public health problem. Better and early recognition of dissociative disorders would increase awareness about childhood traumata in the community and support prevention of them alongside their clinical consequences.</jats:p

Translation Features Of Vedat Kokona On Several Dramas Of Shakespeare
Translation is a phenomenon that has a huge effect on everyday life. Moreover, translation is seen as a connecting bridge between the identities of two different languages and cultures, while in itself it is an essential means in the process of communication. Our aim for this study will be concentrated on interlingual translation, as well as translation features of Vedat Kokona on several dramas of Shakespeare, such as: Timon of Athens, Antony and Cleopatra, Twelfth Night, Midsummer Night's Dream, Two Gentlemen of Verona. Exchange of messages in translation from English into Albanian will be the central focus of this study, bearing in mind the importance and the indispensable role of this process. In this exchange of messages, we will focus more on the language features that the author, in this case translator Vedat Kokona has tried to preserve in order to maintain the meaning of the translated phrases and sentences partially or completely in the above mentioned dramas of Shakespeare. The theories of meaning, cultural transference, as well as some other communication theories are the theoretical foundation of this paper. We will also judge by giving the arguments whether the translator of these dramas is faced with the absence of linguistic and cultural identity material; whether he has managed to convey the right meaningful message through linguistic and cultural transformations faithfulness in his translations. This at once constitutes the very argument of this study. The meaning of the given translation doesn't always need to be simply a sum of words, but most importantly needs to be an organic meaningful unity that one should express it in non-identical ways in different identities. We are also aware that during translation words and sentences may undergo transformations in form and structure but they need to preserve an unaltered message. Simply speaking, we will try to study how Kokona has tried to undress the message of the linguistic and cultural parameters of Shakespearean language and how he dressed it with the linguistic and cultural material code of the Albanian language
