Cosmological Neutrino Background and Connected Problems

    No full text
AbstractApplying the formulae derived by us (A. Sapar 1964) for the Universe filled with baryonic matter and decoupled particles (photons and massive neutrinos), a scenario of evolution of the Universe is studied. The dark energy can be treated as the kinetic energy excess over the potential energy of all particles in the hyperbolic Universe which is going to its new, kinetic energy dominated epoch of evolution. The dark mass can be due to slowly moving rest-mass neutrinos, crossing the galaxies where they form wide iso-potential (constant orbital velocity) shells. The real Big Bang is assumed to precede the Planck unit time and this removes necessity of the later inflation phenomenon. The possibility to modify the equations of cosmology into the non-local ones by gravitational potential of the Universe is shortly discussed.</jats:p

Sapar Alliance Movement (Syarekat Perjuangan Rakyat) Against Geothermal Project In Padarincang Prakasak Mountain

Mount Prakasak is a protected forest located in Batukuwung village, Padarincang district, Serang Regency, Banten Province which has the potential for geothermal energy to be used as electricity. This study aims to describe the rejection of the Padarincang community who are members of the SAPAR (Syarekat Perjuangan rakyat) alliance movement against the development of geothermal projects. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. This research shows that the Padarincang community who are members of the SAPAR alliance reject the construction of geothermal projects because they can damage the preservation of nature. Ecological damage due to geothermal exploration and exploitation activities that damage forests and is feared to cause significant natural damage that affects people\u27s economic activities from the agricultural sector.

Achwan Sapar, Neurosis on the Main Character of the Number 23 Film Based on Sigmund Freuds Psychoanalysis Theory. Thesis. Jakarta: Adab and Humanities Faculty, English Letters Department, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University. Strata One Degree, 2008. In this research, the writer analyzes the scenes that reveal Sparrows Neurosis as the main character of the Number 23film. Here, the writer studied the Number 23 film as the unit of analysis. Neurosis of abnormal psychology viewed from Sigmund Freuds psychoanalysis concept is used as the theoretical framework of the research. The method of the research is descriptive qualitative, which tries to explain about the intrinsic and extrinsic element of the film. At first, the researcher focus on the intrinsic of the film; such as the dialogues and the scenes of the film, then followed by analyzing them through Sigmund Freuds psychoanalysis as the extrinsic element of the film. Through observations of the scenes and the dialogues those filmmaker gives Sparrows characterization as the main character of the Number 23, the writer reveals specific phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and posttraumatic disorder as Sparrows neurosi

radiation, fast food, limited exercise time, stress due to work cannot be avoided, and also from the results of oxidation processes in the body. The development of degenerative diseases caused by free radicals can be inhibited by antioxidant compounds which are able to ward off free radicals. Therefore, the body needs important substances - antioxidants - that help protect it from attacks by free radicals and radical compounds. At certain concentrations, antioxidants can inhibit or slow down the damage caused by oxidative processes. Brewing time has an important role in determining the taste, aroma and active compound content of tea. The need for clear guidance regarding brewing times is becoming increasingly important, especially with the increasing interest in premium tea drinks and the influence of healthy lifestyles. This research aims to know the relationship between brewing time and tea quality in terms of dissolved antioxidant bioactivity content.  This research activity tested the antioxidant activity of Sapar leaf tea with different brewing times, namely 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 minutes. Antioxidant activity testing uses the DPPH (1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazy,) method. From the test results it was found that Sapar leaf tea (Fordia splendidissima (Miq) Buijsen) with a brewing time of 3 minutes had the highest antioxidant bioactivity with a radical inhibition value of 81.46% and the antioxidant bioactivity decreased as the brewing time for the leaf tea became longer

Fatigue strength of polymer-mixed concrete with and without added waste fibre / Md. Ruhaizat Sapar and Rosita Priman

    Get PDF
The objective of this project is to study the effect of fibre due to the fatigue strength of the polymer concrete. Two types of polymer concrete; polymer concrete (sand, polyester resin, talcum and hardener) with and without added waste fibre has been produced. Tensile and fatigue specimens machined and tested. In tensile test, parallel sided specimens were pulled at constant rate of 5 mm/min. In fatigue strength test, Three point bend testing fixture was employed. Cyclic load with stress amplitude of 50 N at vary maximum stress were applied at the frequency i.e. 5 Hz (as benchmark) and 25 Hz respectively. It was found that the average tensile strength of the material was increased by about 32% and the stiffness increased 18.8% with added waste fibre. From the fatigue strength test, clearly seen that both samples, with and without added fibre have the different strength due to the fatigue strength
