This research intends to investigate the elements influencing customer satisfaction regarding personal loan services at AYA Bank PCL and to evaluate how customer satisfaction impacts customer loyalty towards these personal loan services at AYA Bank PCL. The quantitative research approach is utilized. A sample size of 153 active personal loan customers is chosen using the simple random sampling technique. This study employs descriptive statistics. Linear regression and multiple regression are employed to analyze the data. This study analyzes service quality, documentation, staff competence, interest, and information technology resources as factors of influence. The research reveals that the quality of service, documentation, staff skills, engagement, and IT resources significantly influence customer satisfaction. Among them, the interest rate of personal loans from AYA Bank PCL significantly impacts customer satisfaction. Results also indicate that customer satisfaction influences customer loyalty. AYA Bank PCL must inform customers of any changes in interest rates a minimum of 30 days prior. Ultimately, AYA Bank PCL needs to establish a unique interest rate framework aligned with customer profiles

This study analyzes corporate governance practices in the banking industry of Myanmar. The objectives of the study are to identify the current corporate governance practices in private banks and to explore the compliance of corporate governance practices in the banking industry. To implement this research, the existing system of corporate governance in private banks is first observed. According to the CBM data, there are 24 private banks registered and approved by the central bank. Primary was collected from 14 private banks that have over 7 years of experiences in the banking industry and by making structured questionnaires. 50 respondents from selected 14 banks who are working at middle and top management levels and this survey covered (56%) of total private banks. This study used a descriptive statistics method and Corporate Governance Scorecard based on the questionnaire, which is prepared by five corporate governance principles of the UK Combine Code to analyze the current situation. These principles are leadership, effectiveness, accountability, remuneration, and relation with shareholders. Each principle is measured with the Corporate Governance Scorecard which is a quantitative tool to measure the level of observance of a code. The findings of this study indicate that the fourth principle remuneration was not complied by some banks and most of the banks have fair practice on Combine Code. The recommendation of this study is Myanmar Government and relevant institution needs to develop human resources. To get a market competitive advantage, public trust, organizational dignity the top management should enforce to more practice of corporate governance code

Porosity and the Magnetic Properties of Aluminium Doped Nickel Ferrite

The nanocrystalline particles of Aluminium Al doped nickel Ni ferrites with general formula NiAlxFe2 xO4 x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 were synthesized by sol gel auto combustion technique. The formation of single phase cubic spinel was confirmed by X ray diffraction analyses. Morphological features of the samples are studied by Scanning Electron Microscopy SEM to examine the particle size, shape and homogeneity of sample. The magnetic hysteresis graphs were obtained to understand their magnetic behaviours. The relative permeability µr of Al-Ni ferrite samples shows a decrease for all samples as Al content increases. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
