Landscape intervention design strategy with application of Islamic ornamentation at Park Trunojoyo Malang, Jawa Timur, Indonesia
The development of urban parks in some areas has a good impact on the quality of the environment. Trunojoyo Park in Malang City is one of the city park that has a predicate as the best park, especially this park is supported by the government of Malang city into a city park that must be visited by the tourists. The problem is trunojoyo park requires a direction of future development by looking at the perception of visitors who come in the park. The purpose of this study is to know the direction of the new design to find the appropriate design criteria in relation to one's response from the perceptions seen. The architectural intervention in the landscape is one way of approaching how to view the perception in the realm of architectural design. In two ways: temporary intervention and permanent intervention, this method looks at how one's response perceives the architectural element as an aesthetic element in which there is an Islamic ornament as one of the objects applied. This study used descriptive research through field observations by giving random questionnaires that were divided into men and women. Analysis and discussion is done by sorting and calculating each variable of choice of respondent (quantitative). Further evaluated to determine the factors of visitor perception assessment of aesthetics Park City. This study shows that the order and diversity of vegetation, completeness of facilities, security and comfort of the Park City are the factors of assessment of visitors to the aesthetics of the Park City. This research has benefited from the emergence of new theories, regarding the visitor's assessment of the aesthetic City Park
Indoor phytoremediation using decorative plants: an overview of application principles
A healthy and sustainable indoor space was one of the goals of a building, which was an important concern of architects in designing and using it. Design arrangements can be approached physically, such as the use of air vents, lighting, and layout arrangements. However, now the paradigm of using a natural approach has been intensive. In this regard, this paper focuses on the greening of indoor spaces, both for the prevention and restoration of indoor room quality. The study methodology was a survey of existing research results in many countries, and a selection of up-to-date, current data. The results of the literature research obtained are related to the purpose of indoor greening, which is none other than to achieve the goal of green building. Its main target was biodiversity in the prevention of negative health effects and indoor phytoremediation
Greening the environment in living a new lifestyle in the COVID-19 era
The essential health protocol for living in the COVID-19 era requires antiseptic and disinfecting agents, as well as clean water for personal washing and objects related to the conditions of human activity. The results of personal hygiene measures and the cleanliness of objects are additional wastewater discharges, and increased peak discharges of wastewater, compared to conditions without the protocol. In addition, the quality of wastewater is compounded by enrichment of toxic substances for microbes. As a consequence, the wastewater needs to be treated from the source to the disposal to the environment. Various studies that have been carried out previously indicate the potential of plants in eliminating antiseptic and disinfectant substances contained in wastewater. Therefore, this paper discusses specifically the contribution of greening the environment in treating wastewater rich in these toxic substances

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
