Why Indonesia’s Political Attitude not Strong in Myanmar’s Military Coup? Regional Political Studies for Elections and Democracy
The Indonesian government has taken steps to reduce the level of political violence in Myanmar. This effort is one way of political and humanitarian responsibility for the advancement of democracy in the Southeast Asian region. This effort is one of the unusual actions because it is outside the agreement made by countries in the Southeast Asian region. The actions of the Myanmar military junta who have committed murders against their own citizens cannot be seen with a blind eye by their neighbors, namely Indonesia. Thousands of citizens who support Myanmar’s democratic government have been forced into detention by the military junta that carried out the coup. The Activist Group Organization for Assistant Political Prisoners (AAPP) reported that as of Wednesday, April 7, at least 581 civilians who were demonstrating were killed by the Myanmar Military Junta. The purpose of this study is to find out and reveal why the Indonesian government dared to offer the initiative to stop political unrest in Myanmar and how it affected Indonesia. The informants of this research consisted of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, international political observers, and lecturers of international relations

Lulusan UKI yang Berdaya Saing dalam Pergaulan Manusia Global: Strategi UKI Meningkatkan Daya Saing di Era Revolusi 4.0
Globalization is a phase of change experienced by the world community which results in
increasingly blurred geographical boundaries between countries. The exchange of
information and the flow of goods and services has penetrated across countries (global,
international), no longer limited to the scope of the country (local, national). Globalization
requires the ability to compete with other countries if you do not want to be left behind or
even lose from global competition. In their research, Mourshed, Farrell, & Barton (2012)
found that 58% of employers said that the knowledge and skills possessed by college
graduates were not what the job market expected. The Central Statistics Agency (2019)
released new data that the number of unemployed elementary to high school graduates is
decreasing, while college graduates are increasing. The work environment requires a
different combination of skills than that provided by the higher education system. The ability
of universities to produce graduates who are competitive, able to survive and develop in the
midst of the challenges of the transformation of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era has been
tested. This paper intends to examine more deeply about the new strategies that the
Christian University of Indonesia (UKI) as a private university in Jakarta should take in producing competitive graduates. A new strategy that is in line with the demands of the
Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, namely the digitalization program in various aspects ranging
from administrative aspects, teaching and learning processes, developing lecturer
competence, and social networking. This program will encourage UKI to consistently
anticipate and prepare themselves to produce personnel who have new skills and knowledge
in accordance with the demands of the times.

Etika Pemilu Untuk Penguatan Demokrasi
Democracy has become the choice of all civilized nations throughout the world. From all state systems, democracy has become a choice for civilized nations at least because of two fundamental principles, namely: first, respecting a substantial existence as a human being called human right, namely the right that are brought about because of their existence as human beings. Second, democracy respects differences in ethnicity, race, religion, social strata, education, and gender. The two principles complement each other Politically, the basic principle of democracy is to give political rights to the people to intervene in state affairs and one of its forms through general elections. In the modern context, the democratization process continues to get the polish to continuously ground the basic principles of democracy in the technical practices of the state, one of which is through general elections. General elections, in addition to continuously improving the technical procedures that are getting better, the basic substance of democracy, namely the people’s right to determine their choices with all their dignity, must also be continually improved. The responsibility exists on all sides. Election organizers are tasked with ensuring that the processes and substance of democracy are realized in general elections. The implementation of the 2015, 2017 and 2018 General Elections show that the process of implementing elections it still a homework that must continue to be improved
DEMOCRACY, POLITICAL IDENTITY, AND THE FATE OF MINORITY POLITICS: REFLECTIONS TOWARDS INDONESIA'S NATIONAL CONCURRENT ELECTIONS IN 2024
The 2019 and 2014 General Elections in Indonesia was laden with religious identity politics. The election
of the DKI Jakarta Governor in 2017 confirmed the politics of religious identity. People were fed up of continuing the
democratic process because black and dirty campaigns ruined elections. The Indonesia's democratic posture is getting
worse. Presidential candidates were also divided into the Allah party for supporters of Islamic religious identity and the
Ibilis party branded for those who opposed.
The principles of democracy, namely respect for human dignity, exclusion of primordial issues, open and fair
elections, freedom for voters are actually lost and damage Indonesian democracy. For a long time, the issue of religious
identity politics was the most dangerous for democracy and a healthy political process in Indonesia.
How was the fate of Christian politicians in such bad religious identity politics at that time when they were nominated
by political parties from strong Islam-based regions? The personal attitude of Christian candidates who can be trusted
between their words and deeds, speaking less but doing more is able to transcend fears in the politics of religious identity.
This research looks at the 2019 and 2014 General Elections to be a reflection towards the 2024 Simultaneous General
Elections through in-depth interviews and literature reviews
