Management of Complex Sleep Apnea Syndromes (Including Treatment Emergent and Treatment Persistent Central Sleep Apnea)
Complex sleep apnea refers to patents with obstructive sleep apnea who develop central apneas on continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP). It occurs most frequently during the first initiation of CPAP therapy, but can also evolve later on. The prevalence has been reported between 1.5% and 20%. Complex sleep apnea is a mostly a transient phenomenon. If it becomes chronic, the most applicable treatment options include adaptive servoventilation, BPAP with back-up rate, medication, or supplemental oxygen. However, successful clinical management often needs a multi-modality approach involving all individual aspects of the underlying pathology

What are museums for? - Revisiting “Museums in a Troubled World”
Focusing on the present situation in the Nordic museum scene, entailing economic pressures and restructuring, this article introduces the thoughts and ideas of Canadian museum expert and author, Robert R. Janes, to put things in perspective. After revisiting the 2009 book “Museums in a Troubled World”, authored by Janes, a discussion between the authors is presented which focuses on the complexities of collaboration between museums and business. Finally a “hands on” section is included, in which different types of possible collaborations are examined. In this section, the topic of value creation is also addressed, as it is pointed out which measures might be necessary to rebuild a position of relevancy in society for the Nordic museums
Overview on Radiologic Patterns in Interstitial Lung Disease
High resolution computed tomography (HRCT) plays a central role in the diagnostic process of interstitial lung disease (ILD). Although the HRCT findings usually correspond to recognizable chest radiography abnormalities, they are much more clearly identifiable on HRCT. In this chapter the role of chest radiography and HRCT in the diagnostic process of ILD are discussed. Main HRCT findings in ILD are described with a focus on specific situations where HRCT has a particular diagnostic importance and on the prognostic utility of specific CT patterns. The role of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography (PET) in ILD patients is also discussed
