A Netnography Study on Memorable Cultural Tourism Experiences: Insights from Asian Cultural Heritage Site Tourists
Generational shifts: understanding the role of green self-identity, social norms and cohort differences in consumer intentions to purchase stigmatised recycled products
Purpose – This study aims to investigate the moderating role of social norms and generational differences on the relationship between green selfidentity
and purchase intention towards a particular product category: recycled absorbent hygiene products.
Design/methodology/approach – An online survey was conducted, and structural equation modelling was used to examine the hypothesised
relationships based on data from 1,113 Italian consumers. In addition, a small qualitative study was carried out among Millennials to confirm and
further contextualise some of the observed effects.
Findings – This study finds a positive relationship between green self-identity and attitudes towards recycled absorbent hygiene products,
influencing purchase intention. Social norms moderate this relationship, with their effect varying across generational cohorts. Social norms
negatively influence the relationship between green self-identity and attitudes towards recycled products only for Generation Y. In contrast, for
Generation X and Generation Z, social norms do not significantly affect this relationship.
Research limitations/implications – This study’s cross-sectional design and non-probabilistic sampling may limit the generalizability of the results.
The findings related to a specific country: Italy. In addition, reliance on self-reported data may introduce some biases.
Practical implications – Marketers can attract eco-conscious consumers by aligning branding with sustainability values and emphasising ecofriendly
product offerings. Furthermore, businesses should actively work to challenge negative perceptions of recycled products, particularly those
related to quality or hygiene. Promoting positive social norms through targeted campaigns and collaborating with eco-conscious influencers can
reshape public perceptions and encourage more consistent eco-friendly purchasing behaviour.
Originality/value – To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this study is one of the first to explore the moderating role of social norms and
generational differences in shaping the relationship between green self-identity and consumers’ purchase intentions towards recycled products. By
highlighting how these factors interact, this research offers fresh insights into the literature on sustainable consumer behaviour, enhancing the
understanding of the complex influences that drive eco-friendly purchasing decisions

Flood management, characterization and vulnerability analysis using an integrated RS-GIS and 2D hydrodynamic modelling approach: The case of Deg Nullah, Pakistan
One-dimensional (1D) hydraulic models have been extensively used to conduct flood simulations for investigating flood depth and extent maps. However, the 1D models cannot simulate many other flood characteristics, such as flood velocity, duration, arrival time and recession time when the flow is not restricted within the channel. These flood characteristics cannot be disregarded as they play an important role in developing flood mitigation and evacuation strategies. This study formulates a two-dimensional (2D) hydrodynamic model combined with remote sensing (RS) and geographic information system (GIS) approach to generate additional flood characteristic maps that cannot be produced with 1D models. The model was applied to a transboundary river of Deg Nullah in Pakistan to simulate an extreme flood event experience in 2014. The flood extent images from the moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS) and observed flood extents were used to evaluate the model performance. Moreover, an entropy distance-based approach was proposed to facilitate the integrated multivariate flood vulnerability classification. The simulated 2D flood modeling results showed a good agreement with the flood extents registered by MODIS and the observed ones. The northwest parts of Deg Nullah near Seowal, Dullam Kahalwan and Zafarwal were the most vulnerable areas due to high flood depths and prolonged flooding duration. Whereas high flood velocities, short flood arrival time, prolonged flood duration and recession times were observed in the upper reach of Deg Nullah thereby making it the most susceptible, critical and vulnerable region to flooding events.Higher Education Commission of Pakista
Measuring Customer Based Beverage Brand Equity: Investigating the Relationship between Perceived Quality, Brand Awareness, Brand Image, and Brand Loyalty
This study examined the antecedents of brand equity such as, brand awareness, perceived quality and the mediating role of a brand Image on brand loyalty. Total number of (n = 150) questionnaires were distributed among the consumers living in four cities (Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, and Sargodha) of Pakistan. Out of the total questionnaires only (n = 130, 86.6%) completed questionnaires were received. Pearson correlation, linear regression and multiple regression tests were used to test the data and infer the results. Results show a positive relationship between the independent and dependent variables. Additionally, mediation has been found between brand awareness, perceived quality and brand loyalty due to brand image. It means that brand awareness and perceived quality develop the brand image which ultimately yields brand loyalty. Thus loyalty programs of beverage companies should focus on brand awareness and consumers ’ perception of quality. Overall, these results show that the influence on brand loyalty varies across various variables of the study. The results contribute significantly to the brand equity topic

ABSTRACT
Justice in polygamy is a problem passed down from generation to generation. The reason is that there are many rejections of the legalization of polygamy. Polygamy is considered discrimination and harassment against women. This phenomenon encourages modern Muslim scholars to review the law of polygamy and its rules by reconstructing the interpretation of Surah An-Nisa Verse 3.
The data analysis technique used in this research is comparative analysis. In this case, the author compares the thoughts of the two figures regarding the concept of justice in polygamy. This research is to find out (1) how Musdah Mulia thinks about justice in polygamy, (2) how Muhammad Syahrur thought about justice in polygamy, and (3) how do Musdah Mulia and Muhammad Syahrur think about justice in polygamy and its theoretical implications.
In this thesis, the author discusses the thoughts of two significant figures, namely Musdah Mulia and Muhammad Syahrur, with the comparative method. This study aims to describe the ideas of Musdah Mulia and Muhammad Syahrur and analyze the opinions of the two figures to find points of similarities and differences regarding their thoughts on the concept of justice in polygamy.
The results obtained are (1) Musdah Mulia believes that justice in polygamy is an obligation that husbands must fulfill towards their wives in all respects, including in terms of the distribution of love. Therefore, Musdah considers that polygamy is Haram Lighairihi. (2) Muhammad Syahrur argues that justice in polygamy is limited to social justice, not in terms of biology or love. According to him, polygamy is Halal, and in certain situations, polygamy is sunnah to do. (3) The difference between the two is Musdah Mulia requires justice in the biological realm and considers polygamy unlawful. Muhammad Syahrur requires justice in the social sphere and considers polygamy a sunnah in certain circumstances.Musdah Mulia's opinion implies a need for revision due to inconsistencies in the rules of polygamy in Indonesia. On the other hand, Muhammad Syahrur's thoughts suggest that the practice of polygamy can be a solution in the UUPA, namely to protect orphans in fulfilling their life needs
A comparative analysis of PlanetScope 4-band and 8-band imageries for land use land cover classification
Earth-observing satellites have become essential in comprehending human impacts on the landscape. Satellite-based imagery is indispensable for mapping Earth's features, managing resources, and studying environmental changes. Readily available remote sensing data with improved radiometric, spectral, spatial, and temporal resolution presents opportunities for advanced data analysis. Precise and accurate land use land cover (LULC) information is essential for the surveillance of environmental conditions and the effective management of natural resources. This research assesses the performance of PlanetScope product SuperDove sensor (PSB.SD), having two different band combinations, including 4-band (Red, Blue, Green and Near-Infrared (NIR)) and 8-band (Blue, Green II, Red, NIR, Coastal Blue, Green, Yellow, Red-Edge) imagery in ArcGIS Pro for the month of July 2021. Four different supervised classifiers, including support vector machine (SVM), k-nearest neighbours (KNN), random forest (RF), and maximum likelihood (ML) classifiers. This study was carried out for the three major areas, i.e., City of Summerside, City of Charlottetown, and Town of Three Rivers in Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada and LULC classification scheme consists of six major classes, which include Agriculture, Forest, Vegetation, Bare Land, Urban and Water bodies. For accuracy assessment, overall accuracy as well as kappa coefficient were estimated to identify the most accurate combination of LULC classifier and different band combination imagery from PlanetScope. Results show that the highest overall accuracy of 0.94 for Town of Three Rivers and 0.93 for City of Summerside and City of Charlottetown were observed using 8-band imagery with SVM classifier. The lowest overall accuracy of 0.78 for Town of Three Rivers, 0.83 for City of Charlottetown, and 0.82 for City of Summerside was observed using 4-band imagery using ML classifier. Further, the SVM classifier performs well in accuracy with 8-band imagery of PlanetScope, showcasing its potential in LULC classification compared to previous PlanetScope 4-band imagery
Prognostically significant fusion oncogenes in Pakistani patients with adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia and their association with disease biology and outcome
Background and objectives: Chromosomal abnormalities play an important role in genesis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and have prognostic implications. Five major risk stratifying fusion genes in ALL are BCR-ABL, MLL-AF4, ETV6-RUNX11, E2A-PBX1 and SIL-TAL1. This work aimed to detect common chromosomal translocations and associated fusion oncogenes in adult ALL patients and study their relationship with clinical features and treatment outcome. Methods: We studied fusion oncogenes in 104 adult ALL patients using RT-PCR and interphase-FISH at diagnosis and their association with clinical characteristics and treatment outcome. Results: Five most common fusion genes i.e. BCR-ABL (t 9; 22), TCF3-PBX1 (t 1; 19), ETV6-RUNX1 (t 12; 21), MLL-AF4 (t 4; 11) and SIL-TAL1 (Del 1p32) were found in 82/104 (79%) patients. TCF3-PBX1 fusion gene was associated with lymphadenopathy, SIL-TAL1 positive patients had frequent organomegaly and usually presented with a platelets count of less than . Survival of patients with fusion gene ETV6-RUNX1 was better when compared to patients harboring other genes. MLL-AF4 and BCR-ABL positivity characterized a subset of adult ALL patients with aggressive clinical behaviour and a poor outcome. Conclusions: This is the first study from Pakistan which investigated the frequency of5 fusion oncogenes in adult ALL patients, and their association with clinical features, treatment response and outcome. Frequencies of some of the oncogenes were different from those reported elsewhere and they appear to be associated with distinct clinical characteristics and treatment outcome. This information will help in the prognostic stratification and risk adapted management of adult ALL patients.Noreen Sabir, Zafar Iqbal, Aamer Aleem, Tashfeen Awan, Tahir Naeem, Sultan Asad, Ammara H Tahir, Muhammad Absar, Rana MW Hasanato, Sulman Basit, Muhammad Azhar Chishti, Muhammad Faiyaz Ul-Haque, Ahmad Muktar Khalid, Muhammad Farooq Sabar, Mahmood Rasool, Sajjad Karim, Mahwish Khan, Baila Samreen, Muhammad Hassan Siddiqi, Saba Shahzadi, Sana Shahbaz, Agha Shabbir Ali, Amer Mahmood, Muhammad Akram, Tariq Saeed, Arsalan Saleem, Danish Mohsin, Ijaz Hussain Shah, Muhammad Khalid, Muhammad Asif, Mudassar Iqbal, Tanveer Akhta
