Uji Performa Kekasaran Permukaan Dan Ketelitian Dimensi Mesin Mini Router Cnc 1610 Pro Terhadap Material Kayu Jati
Perkembangan teknologi dalam bidang manufaktur dengan kompleksitas bentuk dan akurasi tinggi telah berkembang pesat, terutama dalam penggunaan sistem komputer di dunia industri. Hasil perpaduan dari teknologi komputer dan teknologi manufaktur inilah yang selanjutnya dinamakan mesin CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled). Pada pemesinan konvensional cara yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan nilai kekasaran yaitu trial and error dalam pemilihan kecepatan spindel, kecepatan laju makan, kedalaman pemakanan dan arah dari pahat. Hal tersebut mempengaruhi kualitas hasil pemesinan dan produktivitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Desain eksperimen adalah evaluasi secara serentak dua atau lebih faktor terhadap kemampuannya untuk mempengaruhi rata-rata hasil atau variabilitas hasil gabungan dari karakteristik produk atau proses tertentu. Tahapan penelitian ini terdiri dari studi literatur, Pembuatan desain spesimen kerja yang akan digunakan, penentuan parameter faktor melalui implementasi desain eksperimen, Pelaksanaan eksperimen menggunakan Mini Router CNC 1610 Pro, Melakukan uji kekerasan pada tiap spesimen uji, Analisa visual ketelitian dimensi dan menganalisis data yang didapat melalui metode Rasio S/N. Karakteristik performace ini terkadang didapatkan melalui pengujian kekasaran pada produk yang akan dibuat pada mesin mini router CNC 1610 Pro. Berdasarkan dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, 9 eksperimen dengan menggunakan mesin mini router CNC 1610 Pro mempunyai rata-rata ketelitian yang terjadi pada spesimen sebesar 96.92% dan untuk rata-rata tiap spesimen mengalami perbedaan dimensi sebesar 0.293 mm dari desain yang telah dibuat pada CAD. Hasil pemotongan dari pemotongan searah serat kayu (longitudinal) menunjukan bahwa nilai kekasaran yang didapatkan lebih kecil dan stabil. Berdasarkan respon kekasaran permukaan yang paling berpengaruh menggunakan mesin mini router CNC 1610 Pro dengan arah pemotongan longitudinal adalah kecepatan makan (feed rate) di rank 1, dan kecepatan spindel (spindle speed) di rank 2. Sedangkan respon kekasaran permukaan yang paling berpengaruh menggunakan mesin mini router CNC 1610 dengan arah pemotongan tangential adalah kecepatan makan (feed rate) di rank 1, dan kecepatan spindle (spindle speed) di rank 2. Kombinasi parameter optimum dalam mendapatkan nilai kekasaran terkecil menggunakan mesin mini router CNC 1610 dengan material kayu jati adalah kecepatan spindel pada 3000 rpm, dan kecepatan makan pada 150 mm/min dengan pemotongan longitudinal yang pada pelaksanaan eksperimen mempunyai nilai kekasaran 2,244 µm

Technological developments in manufacturing with high form complexity and high accuracy have grown rapidly, especially in the use of computer systems in the industrial world. The result of the combination of computer technology and manufacturing technology is hereinafter called a CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) machine. In conventional machining, the method used to obtain roughness values is trial and error in the selection of spindle speed, feed rate, feed depth and tool direction. This affects the quality of machining results and productivity. This research is using experimental method. Experimental design is the simultaneous evaluation of two or more factors on their ability to influence the average yield or variability of the combined results of a particular product or process characteristic. The stages of this research consist of a literature study, making the design of the work specimen to be used, determining the factor parameters through the implementation of an experimental design, carrying out experiments using the Mini Router CNC 1610 Pro, conducting a hardness test on each test specimen, visual analysis of dimensional accuracy and analyzing the data obtained. through the S/N Ratio method. This performace characteristic is sometimes obtained through roughness testing on products that will be made on a 1610 Pro CNC mini router machine. Based on the research that has been done, 9 experiments using a mini router CNC 1610 Pro machine have an average error that occurs in the specimens of 96.92% and on average each specimen experiences a dimension difference of 0.293 mm from the designs that have been made in CAD ( computer aided drawing).. Based on the surface roughness response, the most influential using a CNC 1610 Pro mini router machine with longitudinal cutting direction is the feed rate at rank 1, and spindle speed at rank 2. Meanwhile, the most influential surface roughness response is using a mini machine. CNC router 1610 with a tangential cutting direction is the feed rate at rank 1, and spindle speed at rank 2. The optimum combination of parameters in obtaining the smallest roughness value using a mini router CNC 1610 machine with teak wood material is spindle speed at 3000 rpm, and feeding speed at 150 mm/min by longitudinal cutting which in the experiment has a roughness value of 2.244 µ
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Development Value Stream Mapping to Identify 8 Types of Waste
This study proposes an Extended Value Stream Mapping (Extended VSM) framework to address the limitations of traditional VSM in identifying all eight types of waste (Muda), particularly those associated with human factors, environmental conditions, and material movement. While conventional VSM effectively maps value-added and non-value-added activities, it often fails to detect motion waste, transportation inefficiencies, and underutilized human potential. The proposed framework integrates time measurement using Stopwatch Time Study (STS), workflow analysis through the Flow Process Chart (FPC), ergonomic risk evaluation with the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), mental workload assessment via NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX), and environmental condition indicators such as lighting, temperature, and noise. Designed for labor-intensive production systems, Extended VSM offers a multidimensional mapping tool capable of supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Although this research does not include a real-case implementation, the framework is designed to be practically applicable and empirically validated in future studies
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
