No full textPerihal Pertikaian Teritorial bukan lagi merupakan bahasan fenomena baru dalam kajian Hubungan Internasional, dan juga merupakan fenomena yang tidak asing lagi di kawasan Asia Tenggara. Namun di awal tahun 2013 lalu, muncul sebuah fenomena Pertikaian Teritorial yang memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dibandingkan dengan kasus-kasus yang pernah terjadi sebelumnya, yaitu munculnya klaim dari sebuah kelompok yang bernama Kesultanan Sulu terhadap wilayah Sabah, yang merupakan wilayah bagian negara Malaysia. Kesultanan Sulu merupakan salah satu etnis yang berdomisili di negara Filipina.Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep Iredentisme yang diajukan oleh David Levinson dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tindakan klaim Kesultanan Sulu atas wilayah Sabah tersebut dapat dikategorikan sebagai tindakan Iredentisme, yang menjelaskan bahwa motif dari klaim tersebut bersumber dari adanya keterikatan sejarah yang dimiliki antara pihak Kesultanan Sulu dengan wilayah Sabah itu sendiri
Perkembangan efikasi guru sekolah menengah di Sabah
No full textKajian ini bertujuan menentukan pola efikasi guru mengikut fasa-fasa pengalaman mengajar. Sampel seramai 1321 orang guru yang mengajar di 48 buah sekolah menengah dalam empat bahagian utama di Sabah, dipilih menerusi teknik persampelan bertujuan. Data dikumpul menggunakan instrumen Teacher Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES). Analisis min menunjukkan efikasi guru-guru sekolah menengah berada pada aras yang tinggi. Efikasi guru dikenalpasti berkembang dalam empat fasa, iaitu fasa efikasi adaptasi, efikasi matang, efikasi puncak dan efikasi lesu. Analisis korelasi Pearson mendapati hubungan antara pengalaman guru dengan efikasi guru adalah signifikan tetapi pada aras yang lemah. Menerusi analisis multivariat mendapati pengalaman mengajar memberi pengaruh yang signifikan ke atas efikasi guru secara keseluruhan mahupun dimensi-dimensinya secara berasingan. Pengurusan kelas didapati menerima pengaruh yang lebih besar berbanding dimensi-dimensi yang lain. Implikasi dapatan kajian juga dibincangkan

No full textRhetoric Stages in Ustaz Khalid Basalamah's Lecture on Youtube. This research is entitled Rhetoric Stages in Ustaz Khalid Basalamah's Lecture on Youtube. The reason the author chose this title is because this research has never been done at the Islamic University of Riau and the object being carried out has also never been studied by students of the Islamic University of Riau. And Ustadz Khalid Basalamah was able to attract the attention of listeners, so the writer wanted to know the stages used by Ustadz Khalid Basalamah. This research is included in qualitative research using descriptive method. The data collection technique of this research is through documentation. This study uses the theory proposed by Rakhmat (2014), Abidin (2013), Keraf (2015), Morrisan (2014). The results of research on the stages of rhetoric in Ustaz Khalid Basalamah's lecture on Youtube found 40 data. (1) In the invention stage, there are 7 data including 5 evidence indicators and 2 statement indicators. (2) The disposition stage contains 15 data, including 7 preliminary data, 4 content data, and 4 closing data. (3) The Elocutio stage contains 7 data, including 3 asindenton data, 1 paradox data, and 3 hyperbole data. (4) The memory stage contains 6 data, including 3 information storage data and 3 experience data. (5) The Pronontitio stage contains 5 data, the data is included in the rhythm. It can be concluded that Ustaz Khalid Basalamah in the invention stage is more dominant in using evidence. In the disposition stage, the prelude is more dominant using greetings, content is more dominant using arguments, and closing is more dominant using expectations. In the elocutio stage, it is more dominant to use asidentone and hyperbole. In the memory stage, it is more dominant to use the storage of information and experiences. In the pronontitio stage, it is more dominant to use rhythm. Thus, Ustaz Khalid Basalamah has used the five stages of rhetoric

Financial Development, Economic Growth, and Poverty Reduction
No full textThe frequent failure of financial liberalisation efforts in developing countries, and the serious damage which recent financial crises have imposed on these economies, have led to renewed attempts to understand the relationships between financial sector development, economic growth and poverty reduction, and to provide a more robust intellectual foundation on which to design efficient and pro-poor financial sector policies for developing countries. The paper examines the contribution that financial sector development can make to poverty reduction in developing countries. The linkages between financial and economic growth, and between economic growth and poverty reduction, are considered, and some preliminary empirical evidence is presented on these linkages. The paper goes on to argue that financial market imperfections are a key constraint on pro-poor growth, and that public policy directed at the correction of these financial market failures is needed to ensure that financial development contributes effectively to growth and poverty reduction. The final part of the paper examines in some detail the role of financial regulation and supervision policy as a key area for public intervention directed at enhancing the financial sector’s contribution to poverty reduction.
