Las principales organizaciones capitalistas, las personas jurídicas, son losmás ofensivos para el medio ambiente, que es un bien jurídico tan valioso e insustituible, y por lo tanto merece importancia con respecto a la responsabilidad criminal. El objetivoes, pues, promover un enfoque innovador y una crítica paralela sobre la responsabilidade penal de las personas jurídicas por los daños ambientales. La metodología utilizada en la investigación es el método investigativo y descriptivo, pues pretende proporcionar una mayor familiaridad con el problema y hacerlo explícito, además de construir nuevas hipótesis. La técnica metodológica se realiza en una amplia investigación en las doctrinas, en los medios electrónicos oficiales y principalmente en las jurisprudencias de los Tribunales Superiores nacionales. Ese modo, se observa que la protección del medio ambiente es relacionada con el derecho a la vida, no sólo las vidas de los seres humanos, sino de todo el planeta, y la Ciencia Penal no puede quedarse inerte ante el avance de la macrocriminalidad ambiental causado por las entidades corporativas.Os debates penais e as jurisprudências contemporâneas dos tribunais superiores brasileiros são polêmicos em alguns ideais e marcos teóricos sobre o tema societas deliquere potest. As principais organizações capitalistas, as pessoas jurídica, são as que mais agridem o meio ambiente, esse bem jurídico tão valioso e insubstituível, e que por isso merece destaque no que diz respeito à responsabilidade criminal. O objetivo é, portanto, promover uma abordagem inovadora e uma crítica paralela acerca da responsabilidade penal das pessoas jurídicas por danos ambientais. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa consiste no método investigativo e descritivo, pois visa proporcionar uma maior familiaridade com o problema e torná-lo explícito, além de construir novas hipóteses. A técnica metodológica realiza-se em uma ampla pesquisa nas doutrinas, nos meios eletrônicos oficiais e principalmente nas jurisprudências dos Tribunais Superiores nacionais. Desse modo, observa-se que a proteção ao meio ambiente é ligada ao direito à vida, não somente as vidas dos seres humanos, mas de todo o planeta, e a Ciência Penal não pode ficar inerte diante do avanço da macrocriminalidade ambiental provocada pelas entidades corporativas
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

No full textSem dúvida, uma das questões que mais suscitam discussões na sociedade brasileira atual é com relação a reintegração social do menor em conflito com a lei. Justifica-se o estudo acadêmico na perspectiva de que faz alguns séculos que o sistema retributivo conseguiu sua posição de destaque sobre as demais formas de resolução de conflitos e entendia-se este modelo como sendo o mais moderno e eficaz possível. No entanto, esta justiça criminal aplicada demonstra sinais de não ser mais capaz de promover a reintegração do ofensor ou mesmo de coibir as condutas ilícitas. Neste processo de falência do sistema de retribuição de pena surge a Justiça Restaurativa, que trata de um processo de caráter interdisciplinar e eminentemente voluntário em que o infrator e vítima são dotadas de maior autonomia para decidir a resolução mais benéfica e restabelecer o status existente antes da transgressão. O objetivo geral da pesquisa é analisar a aplicação da Justiça Restaurativa no processo de reinserção social do menor infrator sob a égide dos Direitos Fundamentais. Quanto aos objetivos específicos são: identificar as práticas de Justiça Restaurativa como uma nova forma de combater a criminalidade juvenil no Brasil; demostrar que a redução da maioridade penal não resolve o problema da criminalidade entre os jovens; e por fim, promover mecanismos restaurativos teóricos e empíricos que preservem a dignidade humana das crianças e adolescentes em conflito com a lei, sem olvidar da vítima da infração. De acordo com tais argumentos, surge então a seguinte problemática: quais os possíveis desdobramentos jurídico-sociais na relação entre a implementação Justiça Restaurativa no Brasil e a reinserção social do jovem transgressor à luz dos Direitos Fundamentais? A metodologia a ser utilizada nesta pesquisa consiste no método hermenêutico-sistêmico exploratório, pois visa interpretar e proporcionar uma maior familiaridade com o problema e torná-lo explícito, além de construir novas hipóteses a serem estudadas. O procedimento metodológico utiliza-se de uma ampla análise nas doutrinas, nos meios eletrônicos oficiais e nas jurisprudências. Os resultados obtidos demonstram que se faz necessário implementar novas formas de composição penal no que se refere ao ato infracional do menor por meio das experiências restaurativas de caráter mais humanista, bem como, a comprovação empírica, por meio de projetos existentes no Brasil, que a Justiça Restaurativa é um método eficiente na reinserção social do jovem ofensor. Assim, conclui-se que o modelo de composição restaurativista se torna promissor na reintegração do menor infrator na medida que se aplicam mecanismos de diálogo, de respeito e de prevenção inerentes na própria formação da personalidade do adolescente

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
