    Automorphic Lie algebras with dihedral symmetry

    The concept of automorphic Lie algebras arises in the context of reduction groups introduced in the early 1980s in the field of integrable systems. Automorphic Lie algebras are obtained by imposing a discrete group symmetry on a current algebra of Krichever–Novikov type. Past work shows remarkable uniformity between algebras associated to different reduction groups. For example, if the base Lie algebra is sl2(C) and the poles of the automorphic Lie algebra are restricted to an exceptional orbit of the symmetry group, changing the reduction group does not affect the Lie algebra structure. In this research we fix the reduction group to be the dihedral group and vary the orbit of poles as well as the group action on the base Lie algebra. We find a uniform description of automorphic Lie algebras with dihedral symmetry, valid for poles at exceptional and generic orbits

    Complexes and exactness of certain Artin groups

    In his work on the Novikov conjecture, Yu introduced Property A as a readily verified criterion implying coarse embeddability. Studied subsequently as a property in its own right, Property A for a discrete group is known to be equivalent to C*-exactness of the reduced C*-algebra, and to the amenability of the action of the group on its Stone-Cech compactification. In this paper we study exactness for groups acting on a finite dimensional CAT(0) cube complex. We apply our methods to show that Artin groups of type FC are exact. While many discrete groups are known to be exact the question of whether every Artin group is exact remains open

    Multidimensional inverse scattering for the Schrödinger equation

    International audienceWe give a short review of old and recent results on the multidimensional inverse scattering problem for the Schrödinger equation.A special attention is paid to efficient reconstructions of the potential from scattering data which can be measured in practice.In this connection our considerations include reconstructions from non-overdetermined monochromatic scattering dataand formulas for phase recovering from phaseless scattering data.Potential applications include phaseless inverse X-ray scattering, acoustic tomography and tomographies using elementary particles.This paper is based, in particular, on results going back to M. Born (1926), L. Faddeev (1956, 1974), S. Manakov (1981), R.Beals, R. Coifman (1985), G. Henkin, R. Novikov (1987), and on more recent results of R. Novikov ( 1998 - 2019), A. Agaltsov, T. Hohage, R. Определение признаков эпителиально-мезенхимальной трансформации (ЭМТ) для установления ее роли в развитии фиброза легких у пациентов с острым респираторным дистресс-синдромом. Метод. Иммуногистохимическое окрашивание гистологических срезов. Результат. В большинстве альвеолоцитов обнаруживается экспрессия маркеров эпителиального иммунофенотипа. Признаки мезенхимальной дифференцировки определяются в единичных альвеолоцитах. Вывод. ЭМТ не играет существенной роли в формировании фиброза респираторного отдела при ОРДС. Postmortem immunohistochemical stain of respiratory part histological sections was methods. Result: epithelial immunofenotype of epithelial cells was determinate in more cases. Conclusion.     A homological characterization of topological amenability

    Generalizing Block and Weinberger’s characterization of amenability we introduce the notion of uniformly finite homology for a group action on a compact space and use it to give a homological characterization of topological amenability for actions. By considering the case of the natural action of G on its Stone-Cech compactification we obtain a homological characterisation of exactness of the group

    Poisson cohomology of scalar multidimensional Dubrovin–Novikov brackets

    International audienceWe compute the Poisson cohomology of a scalar Poisson bracket of Dubrovin–Novikov type with DD independent variables. We find that the second and third cohomology groups are generically non-vanishing in D>1D > 1 . Hence, in contrast with the D=1D = 1 case, the deformation theory in the multivariable case is non-trivial
