INFLUENCE OF SPEED MODE ON TRAFFIC EFFICIENCY INDICATORS
Get PDFВступ. Головним завданням функціонування автомобільного транспорту є задоволення потреби громадян та господарств в перевезеннях із забезпеченням достатнього рівня ефективності цього процесу. Разом з тим, найбільші ризики для здоров’я та життя людини, а також актуальні екологічні проблеми пов’язані з дорожнім рухом. В найбільшій мірі ця двоякість проявляється при виборі швидкісного режиму руху. Прагнення до економії часу поїздки часто призводить до перевищення встановленого обмеження швидкості, що негативно впливає на безпеку дорожнього руху. Тому актуальним є дослідження впливу швидкісного режиму на ефективність транспортного процесу. Мета. Метою даного дослідження ставилося проаналізувати вплив швидкісного режиму на показники ефективності дорожнього руху на типових ділянках доріг за межами міста. Результати. Для реалізації поставленої мети було проведено аналіз руху легкового автомобіля на двох маршрутах, що проходили по ділянках доріг з різними дорожніми умовами. По кожному маршруту автомобіль рухався у трьох режимах обмеження швидкості, що становили 90, 110 та 130 км/год. В результаті обробки GPS треків руху автомобіля були проаналізовані розподіли миттєвих швидкостей та побудовані гістограми руху в координатах «час руху – відстань» та «відстань – швидкість». Для кожного з режимів обмеження швидкості були розраховані значення середньої технічної швидкості та часу сполучення на маршруті, а також показники якості умов руху, зокрема шум прискорення та градієнт енергії. Висновки. В результаті проведення експериментальних досліджень було встановлено, що підвищення швидкісного режиму на ділянці двосмугової дороги за межами міста при фактично існуючому рівні завантаженості рухом не призводить до покращення показників ефективності транспортного процесу. Для ділянок доріг із розділювальною смугою при підвищенні швидкісного режиму спостерігається пропорційне збільшення середньої технічної швидкості, що дозволяє очікувати підвищити техніко-експлуатаційні показники транспортного процесу. Для обох типів доріг підвищення швидкісного режиму призводить до зменшення стабільності руху, що виражається у зростанні шуму прискорення та градієнт енергії. Цей фактор може негативно впливати на безпеку дорожнього руху та привести до погіршення умов праці водія.Introduction. The main task of the operation of road transport is to meet the needs of citizens and businesses in transportation while ensuring a sufficient level of process efficiency. At the same time, the greatest risks to human health and life, as well as current environmental problems, are related to road traffic. To the greatest extent, this duality is manifested when choosing a high-speed mode of movement. The desire to save travel time often leads to exceeding the established speed limit, which negatively affects road safety. Therefore, the study of the influence of the speed regime on the efficiency of the transport process is relevant. Goal. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the speed regime on traffic efficiency indicators on typical road sections outside the city. The results. In order to realize the set goal, an analysis of the movement of a passenger car was carried out on two routes passing through sections of roads with different road conditions. On each route, the car moved in three speed limit modes, which were 90, 110 and 130 km/h. As a result of the GPS processing of car movement tracks, instantaneous speed distributions were analyzed and movement histograms were constructed in the "movement time – distance" and "distance – speed" coordinates. For each of the speed limit modes, the values of the average technical speed and connection time on the route were calculated, as well as indicators of the quality of traffic conditions, in particular, acceleration noise and energy gradient. Conclusions. As a result of conducting experimental studies, it was established that increasing the speed regime on a section of a two-lane road outside the city limits at the actual existing level of traffic congestion does not lead to an improvement in the efficiency of the transport process. For sections of roads with a dividing strip, when the speed regime is increased, a proportional increase in the average technical speed is observed, which allows us to expect an increase in the technical and operational indicators of the transport process. For both types of roads, increasing the speed regime leads to a decrease in traffic stability, which is expressed in an increase in acceleration noise and an energy gradient. This factor can negatively affect road traffic safety and lead to deterioration of the driver's working conditions
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
