Atbildi autore meklē, salīdzinot aktuālo starptautisko tiesību standartu un tā izpausmes praksē investīciju tiesībās. Pētījuma rezultātā izkristalizēts tests, ar kura palīdzību noskaidrot, kādos apstākļos valstij iestājas starptautiskā atbildība, kā arī identificēti atbildības jautājumi, uz kuriem starptautiskās tiesības šobrīd nesniedz risinājumu.A state-owned enterprise, being a separate entity enables the state to operate outside of its traditional competences, yet does not exempt the state from the responsibility on international plane. The research aims to clarify the extent of state responsibility for the actions of a state-owned enterprise and the relevant criteria that entails responsibility. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādos gadījumos valsts uzņēmums var prasīt savu investīciju aizsardzību, konkrēti – netradicionāli ieņemt prasītāja statusu starptautiskos investīciju strīdos iepretim citai valstij. Mērķa sasniegšanai aplūkots investora jēdziens starptautiskajos investīciju aizsardzības līgumos, kā arī valsts un valsts uzņēmuma nošķīrums investīciju šķīrējtiesu praksē. Pētnieciskajā darbā identificēti galvenie izaicinājumi investīciju tiesību režīmam, pieļaujot valsts uzņēmumam prasītāja lomu investīciju strīdos, kā arī piedāvāti to risinājumi.State-owned enterprises play an increasingly significant role in the global economy, including foreign direct investment. The purpose of the research is to clarify in what cases may the state-owned enterprise claim its investment protection, specifically – take an untraditional status as the claimant in international investment disputes opposing another state. In pursuit of the purpose, the notion of an investor within international investment treaties is analysed, as well as the separation of the state enterprise and the state in the precedents of investment arbitration. The main challenges of allowing the status of the claimant for state-owned enterprises are identified, as well as their solutions are proposed in the research

No full textThe study deals with Agneta Klingspor’s autobiographical writings from the 1970s until today. Agneta Klingspor made her debut as an author in 1977 with the diary Inte skära bara rispa. Kvinnodagbok 1962–76 (No Cutting Only Scratching. A Woman’s Diary 1962–76). Since then she has written several novels and collections of poetry and short stories. The majority of Klingspor’s texts represent a struggle for the word, both literally and metaphorically. The aim of this study is to investigate that struggle in Agneta Klingspor’s writings on two levels: the autobiographical and the aesthetic.The dissertation is divided into four main parts. Part I reviews relevant research on literary autobiography and takes up a general discussion of referential claims in autobiographical writing, introducing Leigh Gilmore’s theory about the process of authorization, through which autobiographical writings lay claim to the right to speak, and applying it to the genderized process of authorization manifesting itself in Klingspor’s texts. Part I concludes with a sketch of the historical context surrounding Klingspor’s literary debut: the era of women’s politics of the 1970s.Part II deals with the autobiographical themes in Agneta Klingspor’s writings and with their change over time, particularly with the ways in which Klingspor uses, tests and problematizes her autobiographical narration and with how she positions herself in relation to her time and to her own texts in order to achieve authority.Part III describes the struggle for the word in Klingspor’s writings, which occurs both on an aesthetic and on a meta-literary level. The grotesque aesthetics used by Klingspor is analysed as a type of tit for tat: a feminist strategy utilized in order to block a facile understanding of her as a confessor and a woman in the literary field.Part IV juxtaposes the autobiographical and aesthetic levels in a discussion of the political position Klingspor developed in her writings – a stance which is here characterized as the “mongrel’s position”. Klingspor finds many ways of adopting this position. She plays the part of an orphan and outcast in her own life story. She develops an aesthetic attitude associated with the mongrel – she is sniffing out disreputable subject matters linked to body, gender and sexuality. Also, she takes up the position of the mongrel in the literary field, disconnecting herself from the prestigious role of an author and insisting on being a stray dog. The dissertation concludes with an analysis contrasting Klingspor’s representations with the portraits of the mothers in the recent writings of Kerstin Thorvall and Kerstin Bergström – two other well-known authors in the so-called female confessional genre of the 1970s.</p
Tove Jansson: The Trixter Children's Author
No full textIn the essay, based on my book The Trixter Children's Author - Tove Jansson and the Metamorphosis of the Moomin Oeuvre, I shed new light upon the transformations that the main motifs, the Moomin family and the Moominvalley, undergo throughout the the oeuvre. I also trace Jansson's radical revisions of the earlier moomin books. In her final revision of the Moomin series, Jansson not only transformed the earlier spate of self-contained books into a coherent " family romance" suite but also submitted her works and characters to psychoanalysis. I argue that the final Moomin suite should be considered the "true" Moomin oeuvre

Darba mērķis ir atlasīt, apkopot un analizēt zinātnisko literatūru un pētījumus par kompresijas ortožu lietošanas iedarbību uz augšējās ekstremitātes ar limfedēmu apjoma samazināšanu.
Pētnieciskais jautājums: Vai sievietēm ar krūts vēža izraisītu limfedēmu lietojot kompresijas ortozi ir novērojams augšējās ekstremitātes audu apjoma samazinājums atšķirībā no pacientēm, kuras pielietoja cita veida konservatīvo terapiju (zemas intensitātes pretestības treniņus)?
Rezultāti: tika atlasīti un analizēti divi pētījumi, kuros salīdzināti ekstremitātes apkārtmēru vai apjoma izmaiņas pirms un pēc kompresijas ortozes terapijas. Pētījumi tika sistemātiski atlasīti un attēloti izmantojot Prisma Flow diagrammu. Pēc PEDro skalas tika noteikta pētījumu metodoloģiskā kvalitāte.
Secinājumi: Bakalaura darba mērķis ir sasniegts, atlasīta un apkopota zinātniskā literatūra par kompresijas ortožu pielietošanas iedarbību uz augšējās ekstremitātes ar krūts vēža izraisītu limfedēmu apjoma samazināšanu. Kompresijas ortožu izmantošanai pēc pētījumu datiem ir neliela nozīme krūts vēža izraisītas limfedēmas apjoma samazināšanā; kompresijas ortožu ietekmes uz krūts vēža izraisītas limfedēmas apjoma samazinājumu noteikšanai nepieciešami papildus pētījumi; kompresijas ortozes limfedēmas ārstēšanā netiek pielietotas vienas, tās tiek pielietotas kopā ar zemas intensitātes vingrojumiem.

Purpose of the work: is to select and analyze available literature and research on the use of compression garments in the management of breast cancer related lymphedema.
Research question: Is there evidence of reduction of lymphedema volume in women with breast cancer related lymphedema using compression garment compared to patients receiving other type of conservative therapy?
Result: Two studies were selected and analyzed comparing the results of excess limb volume and arm circumference before and after treatment with low intensity resistance training with or without compression garment. Studies were systematically selected and plotted using the Prism Flow chart. The methodological quality of the studies was assessed using the PEDro scale.
Conclusion: the goal of the bachelor's thesis was achieved, the scientific literature on the use of compression garments in women with breast cancer related lymphedema was selected and analyzed. The use of compression garments has shown a minor role in reducing the lymphedema volume; additional studies are needed to determine the effect of compression garment on breast cancer related lymphedema volume reduction; in the conservative treatment of breast cancer related lymphedema, compression garments are used in combination with low intensity resistance training.

On the Revitalization of Kawagoe Regional Cultural Resources : From Artistic Collaboration with Nordic Artist Agneta Flock
No full textスウェーデンのテキスタイルおよび切り絵作家アグネータ・フロックと筆者がかって行った芸術的コラボレーション、 すなわち、 一方は川越と日本文化に関わる言語芸術を視覚芸術化する営為であり、一方は音楽化する営為であったのだが、こうしたコラボレーションは川越の地域文化資源に新たな意義を与えるものであり、 また、 川越の観光という面においても新たな魅力を生み出す試みであった。 アグネータ・フロックは、川越の歴史的景観を舞台に創造的想像力を駆使し、川越の歴史や民話に基づいた37の切り絵作品を作ったわけだが、筆者は、 彼女の作品をアニメーション化するとともに、和歌をめぐる音楽作品を作り出した。 彼女の切り絵個展は川越の伝統ある大蔵で開催され、それが川越に新しい視点をもたらした。 本稿のねらいは、神話や民話、和歌などを地域文化資源として最大限に生かし、観光資産価値とするべく、この芸術的コラボレーションの意義を考察することにある。The artistic collaboration of the author and Agneta Flock of Sweden, a textile, paper-cutting artist, was a trial that might have given a deeper significance to the cultural resources of Kawagoe and provided a new sightseeing attractiveness to Kawagoe, by incorporating language materials into visual arts and tempo-based arts. Agneta Flock, making full use of imagination on the stage of the historic cityscape of Kawagoe, produced 37 paper-cut works about the history and folktales of Kawagoe and the author did the animation of her paper-cut works and offered musical works composed on 31-syllable Japanese poems. Her one-person exhibition with a concert was held in a big historic storehouse of Kawagoe and gave a fresh viewpoint. Otrajā nodaļā veikta statistisko datu analīze par mobilo IoT savienojumu tirgu Eiropā, kā arī uzņēmuma Tele2 AB IoT departamenta darbības analīze un pētītas B2B klientu apmierinātības novērtēšanas metodes balstoties uz Tele2 IoT gadījuma izpēti.
Balstoties uz ekspertu interviju analīzi, identificētas B2B IoT tirgus klientu apmierinātības novērtēšanas metožu uzlabošanas iespējas un izstrādāta metodoloģija. Pētījuma laikā secināts, ka ir iespējams veidot vienotu metodoloģiju B2B IoT klientu apmierinātības novērtēšanā, lai mobilo IoT pakalpojumu sniedzēju klientu apmierinātība būtu objektīvi novērtējama un salīdzināma. Maģistra darbs sastāv no 2 nodaļām, tā apjoms ir 73 lappuses, iekļauti 29 attēli, 9 tabulas un 4 pielikumi uz 4 lappusēm. Darbā izmantotas 42 bibliogrāfiskā saraksta vienības.The author of the master’s thesis Agneta Laura Cīrule made a research with the title “Assessing B2B customer satisfaction in the IoT market”. The aim of the master's thesis is based on theoretical knowledge and practical situation research to develop a methodology for evaluating B2B IoT customer satisfaction.
IoT is an industry that is constantly evolving and is expected to grow even faster in the coming years. Due to the high competition from mobile IoT service providers, potential customers evaluate service providers not only on the basis of the range and price of services, but also on the satisfaction of their existing customers.
The first chapter of the master's thesis examines IoT and its role in business, the characteristics of B2B customers and differences from B2C customers, as well as the possibilities of assessing customer satisfaction. The second chapter analyzes statistical data on the mobile IoT connection market in Europe, as well as the analysis of Tele2 AB IoT department and researches B2B customer satisfaction assessment methods based on the Tele2 IoT case study.
Based on the analysis of expert interviews, the possibilities for improving the B2B IoT market customer satisfaction assessment methods have been identified and a methodology has been developed. The study concluded that it is possible to develop a common methodology for assessing the satisfaction of B2B IoT customers, so that the customer satisfaction of mobile IoT service providers can be objectively assessed and compared. No full textOwners of imaging modalities using ionising radiation should have a documented quality assurance (QA) program, as well as methods to justify new radiological procedures to ensure safe operation and adequate clinical image quality. This includes having a system for correcting divergences, written imaging protocols, assessment of patient and staff absorbed doses and a documented education and training program. In this work, how some aspects on QA have been implemented in the County of Östergötland in Sweden, and efforts to standardise and automate the process as an integrated part of the radiology and nuclear medicine QA programs were reviewed. Some key performance parameters have been identified by a Swedish task group of medical physicists to give guidance on selecting relevant QA methods. These include low-contrast resolution, image homogeneity, automatic exposure control, calibration of air kerma-area product metres and patient–dose data registration in the radiological information system, as well as the quality of reading stations and of the transfer of images to the picture archive and communication system. IT-driven methods to automatically assess patient doses and other data on all examinations are being developed and evaluated as well as routines to assess clinical image quality by use of European quality criteria. By assessing both patient absorbed doses and clinical image quality on a routine basis, the medical physicists in our region aim to be able to spend more time on imaging optimisation and less time on periodic testing of the technical performance of the equipment, particularly on aspects that show very few divergences. The role of the Medical Physics Expert is rapidly developing towards a person doing advanced data-analysis and giving scientific support rather than one performing mainly routine periodic measurements.
