    Koszul complexes and spectral sequences associated with Lie algebroids

    No full text
    We study some spectral sequences associated with a locally free OX-module A which has a Lie algebroid structure. Here X is either a complex manifold or a regular scheme over an algebraically closed field k. One spectral sequence can be associated with A by choosing a global section V of A, and considering a Koszul complex with a differential given by inner product by V. This spectral sequence is shown to degenerate at the second page by using Deligne’s degeneracy criterion. Another spectral sequence we study arises when considering the Atiyah algebroid DE of a holomolorphic vector bundle E on a complex manifold. If V is a differential operator on E with scalar symbol, i.e, a global section of DE, we associate with the pair (E, V) a twisted Koszul complex. The first spectral sequence associated with this complex is known to degenerate at the first page in the untwisted (E= 0) case

    Cohomology of skew-holomorphic lie algebroids

    We introduce the notion of a skew-holomorphic Lie algebroid on a complex manifold and explore some cohomology theories that can be associated with it. We present examples and applications of this notion in terms of different types of holomorphic Poisson structures

    Informetrics on M. N. Srinivas

    M. N. Srinivas, the well known sociologist is widely recognised as architect of modern Indian sociology and social anthropology. His publications have been analysed by year, domain, authorship pattern, channels of communication used. Keywords, etc. The results indicate that the papers published by him are of a nature that qualify him to be a 'role model' for the younger generations to emulate. By the end of 1995, Srinivas had to his credit 144 papers which, included 33 broad papers in sociology and anthropology; 18 papers in social change; 28 papers in village studies; 12 papers on religion; 17 papers on caste and 36 papers of general popular interest. The periods 1958-61 and 1974-77, when Srinivas was 38-41 and 58-61 years old. were his most productive periods with highest publication activity

Rubtsov O.T. Ryzhkov et al. Chem.Phys.Reports, 17, 73, (1998)Author Institution: Russia, Institute for Structural Macrokinetics RAS, Moscow regionDichlorosilylenes have been detected in the branching chain reaction of the oxidation of dichlorosilane with O2O_{2} for the first time. The emission spectra of rarified flame were recorded under static and flow conditions over the pressure range 0,550,5-5 Torr and 293393K293-393 K over the following intervals : SiO(A1X1)SiO(A^{1} - X^{1}) in the range 220-280 nm SiCl2(A1B1X1A1)SiCl_{2} (A^{1}B_{1} - X^{1}A_{1}) in the range 300380nmg300-380 nm^{g}; the continious emission caused by the blackbody radiation from the solid particles over 400nm. The intensive absorption in the range of 210-260 nm has been also observed under static conditions. The simultaneous recording of the mentioned intermediates as well as conductivity (revealed recentlybrecently^{b}) during the single ignition has been performed. The peaks of the signals are staggered in time. The first peak in time is SiCl2SiCl_{2} (coincident with SiO), the second is the absorption peak, the third is the visible emission coincident with conductivity peak. 10\% additives (to fuel) of SF6SF_{6} have a decreasing effect only on the absorption, visible emission and conductivity. It means that the absorbing intermediates contain Si-O bonds since SF6SF_{6} has influence mainly on aerosol formationcformation^{c}
