Analysis of epoxy resin composites with EPS powder filler
Opravili smo izotermno analizo diferencialne dinamične kalorimetrije (DSC) zamreževanja čiste smole pri različnih temperaturah in DSC analizo toplotne kapacitete kompozitov z različnimi deleži polnila. Expanded polystyrene (EPS) is due to its low thermal conductivity coefficient one of the most widely used materials for thermal insulation. During the production of EPS semi-finished products, powder is generated, which currently represents waste as a by-product. This thesis explores a new method of recycling the EPS waste powder by using it as a filler in epoxy resin. The aim of the study was to compare the thermal, rheological, and mechanical properties of the resin with different concentrations of EPS powder filler. We performed isothermal DSC analysis of the curing of pure resin at different temperatures and DSC analysis of the thermal capacity of composites with various filler ratios. Rheological properties were determined by a curing test of the resin at different constant temperatures, providing insight into the changes in viscoelastic properties. Mechanical properties of composites with different filler ratios were evaluated using three-point bending tests. We found that the resin cures faster with increasing temperature. With increasing filler concentration mechanical properties of the composites deteriorate while the thermal insulation properties of the composites improve
An Analysis with Rotter Internal-External Locus of Control Scale, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, and the Barratt Impulsivity Scale on Patients Who Attempted to Recurrent Suicide
Aim: This study was actualized in order to see whether the patients who applied to the emergency service based on suicide would repeat this situation, to overtake again also to take necessary precautions.Materials and Methods: A total of 910 folders of patients who were admitted to Adiyaman University Medical Faculty Education and Research Hospital Emergency Service with suicide attempt between January 1, 2012, and December 31, 2014, were evaluated retrospectively. Eventually 148 patients with recurrent suicide attempts were reached. Fifty-two patients voluntarily participated in the study. Rotter internal-external locus of control scale, Rosenberg self-esteem scale and the Barratt impulsiveness scale tests were applied to those patients. As a control group, 51 patients who attempted suicide once and 45 healthy subjects who were never involved in suicide attempts were included in the study. Results: There was no difference between the groups in terms of age and sex. According to the Rotter scale, both groups attempting suicide were found to be more external-focused than the group without any suicide attempts. On the contrary, there is no difference among those attempting suicide. According to Barratt impulsiveness scale scores, patients who attempted suicide once were more impulsive than patients who attempted suicide recurrently. Conclusion: Barratt impulsiveness scale and Rosenberg self-esteem scale can be used to evaluate the risk of recurrent suicide attempts in patients who has single suicide attempted. Since the Rotter scale can make a distinction between healthy individuals and those who attempt suicide, it can be used for screening in high-risk groups for suicide attempts, especially for adolescents
THE SATISFACTION IMPORTANCE OF SALES PERSONNEL IN
Zastavila sem si izmeriti zadovoljstvo prodajnega osebja v izbranem Mekurjevem centru- Merkur Lucija. Prvi in tudi obsežnejši del moje diplomske naloge sem namenila opredelitvi in poglobitvi zadovoljstva zaposlenih.
Kakor predhodno prikazano rezultati kažejo, da so kupci razmeroma zadovoljni z delom zaposlenih vendar so zaposleni nekoliko manj zadovoljni s svojim delom.
The purpose of my Thesis is to highlight the importance of satisfaction of sales personnel as an important factor in creating a successful promotion. I believe that employee satisfaction is key to building a successful private sale.
I have set to measure the satisfaction of sales personnel in the selected Mekur center-Merkur Lucjia. The first and the broader part of my Thesis I have to define and deepen the satisfaction of employees. I believe that the theoretical knowledge base in this area can be much help to improve the productivity of employees. In the second part, I want to present the personal characteristics of a successful sale and the seller. Correlate the first and second part is the thought that a successful sale can be made only successful vendor. The seller can be successful only if it is satisfied with his work.
Assumption, namely that there is a correlation between satisfaction sales staff in TC Merkur Lucija and the satisfaction of customers by sales staff, I wish to confirm or rebut, on the basis of two questionnaires. In the first, which is designed to measure the satisfaction of sales personnel and second, which is aimed at customers. I have decided that I asked the buyer in such a way so that they relate to sales personnel.
As first I was interested in what is satisfaction , in relation to the part of the Lešnik definition: Someone who is not satisfied in the workplace, will not have a specific motivation to carry out their work. It is not just the satisfaction guarantee that someone will be motivated to carry out their work. Of course, intervention in individual success is more likely, that the work carried out by an additional degree of motivation.
Based on the above definition shows that the motivation is crucial. For this reason I presented this concept in more detail in relation to employees\u27 satisfaction and correlating them with the customers.
As I have already mentioned that in order to find whether the customer satisfaction associated with the satisfaction of employees, I drew up two sets of questions for one and other. Survey to employees, therefore, relate to factors that directly affect motivation. Survey for customers on satisfaction with the work of employees.
As previously is shown, results show that the buyers are relatively satisfied with the work of employees but employees are slightly less satisfied with their work. The main factor of dissatisfaction are paycheck and promotion opportunities, which in the long term can lead to a reduction of employees\u27 motivation in their work. Less motivation therefore may impact on employee satisfaction and, indirectly, to the satisfaction of customers.
In this case it is necessary to promote leadership and the heads of individuals shopping centers to ensure effective system of motivation of employees
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Beloved: a political composition
The emergent term, traumatic fiction describes the extraordinary violence inflicted on individuals and groups during a traumatic twentieth-century history which encompasses two world wars, various genocides, the Great Depression, and the Cold War. Traumatic fiction narratives mirror the neurosis of traumatic experience by distorting conventional narrative structures and using literary techniques like fragmentation, textual gaps, and repetition. They critique the social, economic, and political structures which make and maintain trauma. Traumatic fiction narratives focus on the problems of amnesia and memory in the construction of the historical narrative. It questions a "true" historical narrative by focusing on traditionally suppressed voices. Toni Morrison's novel, Beloved (1987) exemplifies this genre of traumatic fiction. However, critics have confused Toni Morrison's traumatic fiction writing style with music. Critics like Lars Eckstein, Peter J. Capuano, and Joanna Wolfe focus their analysis on Morrison's "jazzthetic" quality or the novel's similarities to a slave song; they also argue that the numerous songs incorporated in the novel make the musical quality of her writing essential to understanding this novel. By focusing on the supposed musical quality of her writing, critics have missed Morrison's political purpose. This paper argues that Beloved shows that the dominant white culture, historically contemptuous of the black experience, defines slavery in ways that create trauma for black Americans. Traumatic fiction, it suggests, allows Morrison to access the past and rewrite slavery's narrative. Traumatic techniques allow Morrison to transform her readers into co-witnesses so that a victim's trauma can be externalized, giving the victims much-needed distance from their trauma. That distance allows victims to revisit, reflect, rework, and retell history from a black perspective in order to transcend shame of slavery imposed by white society. Morrison uses traumatic fiction techniques because they provide a language, unmarked by white discourse, for Morrison to tell a black story of slavery that resists forgetting and silencing. Morrison challenges the seemingly authenticated historical story that upholds individualism in order to create room for a new black cultural memory that highlights community, which is its true story.M.A.Includes bibliographical referencesby Kimberly Rose Rotte

Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
