Imaging hypotheses - DTI
Description:
1. MD reduction after CAT in the following regions: * Episodic memory related regions in the MTL: hippocampus and perirhinal cortex. * Top-down attention-related dorsal parietal cortex (DPC), including the intra-parietal sulcus (IPS) and the superior parietal lobule (SPL). * Pre-frontal regions, mainly the value-related vmPFC.
2. Changes in structural connectivity will be observed between the pre-frontal cortex and the MTL, as well as with lower level motor and perceptual regions, mainly in the one-month follow-up
Sample size
Sample size will be n=70, divided to two groups- study group (n=35) and control group (n=35)
Election Belief
Participants completed an online survey of beliefs regarding the 2020 U.S. Election, while results from different states were being announce
Behavioral hypotheses
1. Participants of the study group will significantly choose HV Go over HV NoGo items, both immediately and one-month following cue-approach training. These effects will not be resent for the participants of the control group.
2. Correlation between the percent of choosing go over nogo items and the performance on the recognition task (mainly the go/nogo task).
3. Better accuracy and shorter RTs in the go/nogo recognition task for go vs. no go items, with correlation between remembering a specific go item and the increase of its preference (over nogo items)
