Sindi Gümnaasium and Sports Hall
Käesoleva lõputööga esitati töö autori poolne lahendus Sindi Gümnaasiumi juurdeehitusele ja spordihoonele luues kaasaegne ning innovaatiline õpikeskkond. Erinevate linnaehituslike muudatustega on viimaste aastatega järjepidevalt Sindi linnas elukeskkonda parandatud pakkudes seeläbi rahulikku ja atraktiivset elupaika igas eas elanikule. Olemasolev koolihoone ei paku uudset õpikeskkonda, mis on üheks põhjuseks Sindi linna kooliõpilaste eelistusele omandada haridus mõnes Pärnu linna või ümbritseva piirkonna koolis. Olemasolev Sindi linna keskuses asuv koolihoone koosneb lõputöö käigus säilitatavast peahoonest, juurdeehitusest, muusikakoolist ning spordihoonest.
Projektlahendusega kavandatud juurdeehitus järgib säilitatava peahoone sümmeetrilisust ning ümbruskonna hoonete kuju. Loodud õpikeskkond pakub muutuva kooliruumi põhimõtetele toetudes erinevate funktsioonidega alasid läbi hoonekompleksi. Muusikakooli ruume on võimalik kasutada koolitundide läbi viimiseks. Lisaks käsitletavale kooli- ja spordihoonele tehti tööga ettepanek kompleksi ümbritseva kooliõue aktiviseerimiseks. Töö hõlmas kooli kinnistut ja seda ümbritsevaid rohealasid. Kooliesine avalik ruum kujundati ümber jalakäijatele suunatud platsiks, mille lahendus taastab ajaloolise koolihoone ja kalevivabriku vahelise telje.
Projekt näitab ühte võimalikku läbi töötatud lahendust, kuidas ajaloolist peahoonet säilitades ja seda esile tõstes teostada muutuvale kooliruumile vastav kooli juurdeehitus luues seeläbi ümbritsevat keskkonda arvestav arhitektuurne terviklahendus.With this dissertation, the author presented a solution to the extension and sports building of Sindi Gümnaasium, creating a modern and innovative learning environment. With various urban changes, the living environment in Sindi has been constantly improved in recent years, thus providing a peaceful and attractive place to live for people of all ages. The existing school building does not offer a modern learning environment, which is one of the reasons for the preference of school students in the city of Sindi to acquire education in a school in the city of Pärnu or the surrounding area. The existing school building in the center of Sindi consists of a main building, an extension, a music school and a sports building.
The extension planned with the design solution follows the symmetry of the main building to be preserved and the shape of the surrounding buildings. The created learning environment offers areas with different functions through the building complex, based on the principles of a changing school space. The rooms of the music school can be used for school lessons. In addition to the school and sports building in question, work was proposed to activate the school yard surrounding the complex. The work covered the school property and the surrounding green areas. The public space in front of the school was transformed into a pedestrian square, the solution of which restores the axis between the historic school building and the factory.
The project shows one possible solution developed, how to preserve and highlight the historic main building to make a school extension to the changing school space, thus creating a complete architectural solution that takes into account the surrounding environment
Quantitative Measurements of Breast Density Using Magnetic Resonance Imaging
This study was conducted to investigate the optimal MRI protocols for quantitative assessment of breast density. The research involved development of a patient-specific 3D-printed breast phantom for simulation of breast tissues and quantitative analysis of breast density based on phantom experiments and patient data analysis. Results of this research highlight the importance of standardising breast MRI protocols for the evaluation of breast density, predominantly for women at an elevated risk of developing breast cancer
Personalized three-dimensional printed breast model for quantitative assessment of breast density using magnetic resonance imaging
Three-dimensional (3D) printing has become an increasingly developed technique in the medical field and has been used in many clinical applications. Research has consistently shown that 3D-printed models derived from patient’s imaging data can serve as valuable tools for examining different breast-MRI protocols, testing radiofrequency coils, and evaluating system performance. This editorial highlights the utility of personalized 3D-printed breast model for the quantitative breast density assessment using MRI. A personalized 3D-printed breast model was developed and fabricated using silicone and peanut oils to mimic the MR-associated properties of fibroglandular and adipose breast tissues. The silicone and peanut oils’ T1 relaxation times were correspondingly determined on a 3T MRI system and linked to the tissue reference values
PERAN EKONOMI KREATIF DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENDAPATAN PENGRAJIN DITINJAU DENGAN PENDEKATAN EKONOMI ISLAM (STUDI PENGRAJIN KAIN TAPIS PEKON WAY SINDI KABUPATEN PESISIR BARAT)
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi kerajinan kain tapis
dipandang memiliki potensi besar untuk dapat dikembangkan
Iebih lanjut. Hal ini mengingat masih terbukanya peluang pasar
untuk menyerap hasil kerajinan ini. Namun, dengan adanya
beberapa permasalahan/kendala di atas menyebabkan kerajinan
tersebut mengalami hambatan dalam pengembangannya.
Kegiatan ekonomi ini perlu mendapatkan perhatian pemerintah,
sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pendapatan daerah
dan kesejahteraan masyarakatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk mengungkap peran ekonomi kreatif dalam peningkatan
pendapatan pengrajin kain tapis di Pekon Way Sindi
Kecamatan Karya Penggawa Kbupaten Pesisir Barat.
Metode Penelitian skripsi ini menggunakan pendekatan
kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui
observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian yang
digunakan oleh penulis dalam kajian ini adalah penelitian secara
langsung atau disebut dengan penelitian lapangan (field research),
yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan pada masyarakat yang sebenarnya
demi menemukan fakta-fakta yang ada pada masyarakat mengenai
masalah-masalah yang terjadi. Dalam hal ini peneliti dalam
mengumpulkan data yang valid, peneliti meneliti langsung dari lokasi
penelitian yang berkaitan dengan masalah tersebut yaitu di pekon Way
Sindi Kabupaten Pesisir Barat.
Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa ekonomi kreatif
industri pengrajin kain tapis di Pekon Way Sindi Kecamatan
Karya Penggawa sudah baik dan dapat meningkatkan
pendapatan pengrajin terbukti dari beberapa sampel yang
mengalami kenaikan pendapatan. Hasil pendapatan dari
produksi industri kain tapis para pengrajin bisa memenuhi
kebutuhannya sehari-hari. Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa dengan
adanya industri kain tapis sebagai salah satu ekonomi kreatif
dapat meningkatkan pendapatan pengrajin yang ada di Pekon
Way Sindi Kecamatan Karya Penggawa Kabupaten Pesisir
Barat. Sedangkan dalam perspektif ekonomi islam, para
pengrajin telah memenuhi proses produksi, pasar pemasaran,
kebijakan pemerintah, kondisi ekonomi dan kemitraan, namun
belum memenuhi pada indikator manajemen dan keuangan.

ABSTRACT
This research is motivated by the craft of filter cloth, which is
seen as having great potential to be further developed. This is because
there are still market opportunities to absorb these handicrafts.
However, the existence of some of the problems/constraints above
causes the craft to experience obstacles in its development. This
economic activity needs to get the government's attention, so that it
can contribute to regional income and the welfare of its people. This
study aims to reveal the role of the creative economy in increasing the
income of filter cloth craftsmen in Pekon Way Sindi, Karya Penggawa
District, Pesisir Barat Regency.
Research Methods This thesis uses a descriptive qualitative
approach with data collection methods through observation,
interviews and documentation. The research used by the author in this
study is direct research or called field research, namely research
conducted on actual people in order to find facts that exist in society
regarding the problems that occur. In this case, the researcher in
collecting valid data, the researcher examined directly from the
research location related to the problem, namely in Way Sindi village,
Pesisir Barat Regency.
The results of the study illustrate that the creative economy of
the filter cloth industry in Pekon Way Sindi, Karya Penggawa District
is good and can increase the income of craftsmen as evidenced by
several samples that have increased income. The income from the
filter cloth industry production of the craftsmen can meet their daily
needs. So it can be said that the existence of the filter cloth industry as
a creative economy can increase the income of craftsmen in Way Sindi
Village, Karya Penggawa District, Pesisir Barat Regency. Meanwhile,
in the perspective of Islamic economics, the craftsmen have fulfilled
the production process, marketing market, government policies,
economic conditions and partnerships, but have not met the
management and financial indicators.

Quantitative Measurement of Breast Density Using Personalized 3D-Printed Breast Model for Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Despite the development and implementation of several MRI techniques for breast density assessments, there is no consensus on the optimal protocol in this regard. This study aimed to determine the most appropriate MRI protocols for the quantitative assessment of breast density using a personalized 3D-printed breast model. The breast model was developed using silicone and peanut oils to simulate the MRI related-characteristics of fibroglandular and adipose breast tissues, and then scanned on a 3T MRI system using non-fat-suppressed and fat-suppressed sequences. Breast volume, fibroglandular tissue volume, and percentage of breast density from these imaging sequences were objectively assessed using Analyze 14.0 software. Finally, the repeated-measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed to examine the differences between the quantitative measurements of breast volume, fibroglandular tissue volume, and percentage of breast density with respect to the corresponding sequences. The volume of fibroglandular tissue and the percentage of breast density were significantly higher in the fat-suppressed sequences than in the non-fat-suppressed sequences (p < 0.05); however, the difference in breast volume was not statistically significant (p = 0.529). Further, a fat-suppressed T2-weighted with turbo inversion recovery magnitude (TIRM) imaging sequence was superior to the non-fat- and fat-suppressed T1- and T2-weighted sequences for the quantitative measurement of breast density due to its ability to represent the exact breast tissue compositions. This study shows that the fat-suppressed sequences tended to be more useful than the non-fat-suppressed sequences for the quantitative measurements of the volume of fibroglandular tissue and the percentage of breast density
Development of patient-specific 3D-printed breast phantom using silicone and peanut oils for magnetic resonance imaging
Background: Despite increasing reports of 3D printing in medical applications, the use of 3D printing in
breast imaging is limited, thus, personalized 3D-printed breast model could be a novel approach to overcome
current limitations in utilizing breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for quantitative assessment of
breast density. The aim of this study is to develop a patient-specific 3D-printed breast phantom and to
identify the most appropriate materials for simulating the MR imaging characteristics of fibroglandular and
adipose tissues.
Methods: A patient-specific 3D-printed breast model was generated using 3D-printing techniques for
the construction of the hollow skin and fibroglandular region shells. Then, the T1 relaxation times of
the five selected materials (agarose gel, silicone rubber with/without fish oil, silicone oil, and peanut oil)
were measured on a 3T MRI system to determine the appropriate ones to represent the MR imaging
characteristics of fibroglandular and adipose tissues. Results were then compared to the reference values of
T1 relaxation times of the corresponding tissues: 1,324.42±167.63 and 449.27±26.09 ms, respectively. Finally,
the materials that matched the T1 relaxation times of the respective tissues were used to fill the 3D-printed
hollow breast shells.
Results: The silicone and peanut oils were found to closely resemble the T1 relaxation times and imaging
characteristics of these two tissues, which are 1,515.8±105.5 and 405.4±15.1 ms, respectively. The agarose gel
with different concentrations, ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 wt%, was found to have the longest T1 relaxation times.
Conclusions: A patient-specific 3D-printed breast phantom was successfully designed and constructed
using silicone and peanut oils to simulate the MR imaging characteristics of fibroglandular and adipose
tissues. The phantom can be used to investigate different MR breast imaging protocols for the quantitative
assessment of breast density
Quantitative Measurements of Breast Density Using Magnetic Resonance Imaging: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Breast density, a measure of dense fibroglandular tissue relative to non-dense fatty tissue,
is confirmed as an independent risk factor of breast cancer. Although there has been an increasing
interest in the quantitative assessment of breast density, no research has investigated the optimal
technical approach of breast MRI in this aspect. Therefore, we performed a systematic review and
meta-analysis to analyze the current studies on quantitative assessment of breast density using MRI
and to determine the most appropriate technical/operational protocol. Databases (PubMed,
EMBASE, ScienceDirect, and Web of Science) were searched systematically for eligible studies.
Single arm meta-analysis was conducted to determine quantitative values of MRI in breast density
assessments. Combined means with their 95% confidence interval (CI) were calculated using a fixedeffect
model. In addition, subgroup meta-analyses were performed with stratification by breast
density segmentation/measurement method. Furthermore, alternative groupings based on
statistical similarities were identified via a cluster analysis employing study means and standard
deviations in a Nearest Neighbor/Single Linkage. A total of 38 studies matched the inclusion criteria
for this systematic review. Twenty-one of these studies were judged to be eligible for meta-analysis.
The results indicated, generally, high levels of heterogeneity between study means within groups
and high levels of heterogeneity between study variances within groups. The studies in two main
clusters identified by the cluster analysis were also subjected to meta-analyses. The review
confirmed high levels of heterogeneity within the breast density studies, considered to be due
mainly to the applications of MR breast-imaging protocols and the use of breast density
segmentation/measurement methods. Further research should be performed to determine the most
appropriate protocol and method for quantifying breast density using MRI
Texual criticism of the book Savatul-irfan bi-Mufredatil Quran (2nd volume) of Shaikh Muhammad İsmail al-Udvi as-Sindi (1897-1970)
Safvetu'l-İrfân bi-Müfredâti'l-Kurân is a book which focuses on the meaning of vocabulary of Quran with a unique methodology by a latest scholar of İndian sub-continent Shaikh Muhammad İsmail el-Ûdvî es-Sindi (1897-1970). The purpose of this study was on one hand to introduce Shaikh el-Ûdvî to theological scientific world and on the other hand to analyse the book through editing. This was achieved by giving sufficient information about author and his work first of all and secondly by discussing the methodology and pattern adopted by him in the book.Safvetu'l-İrfân bi-Müfredâti'l-Kurân, Kur'ân Kerim'in müfredâtına göre ele alınan ve eşsiz bir yönteme sahip olan, Hint Altkıtas'ında son dönem âlimlerinden Şeyh Muhammad İsmail el-Ûdvî es-Sindî'nin (1897-1970) eseridir. Hem el-Ûdvî'yi ilahiyat ilim camiasına tanıtan hem de bu kıymetli ve mühim eseri tahkik yoluyla incelemeyi hedefleyen çalışmamızda öncelikle el-Ûdvî'nin hayatı ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Daha sonra Safve'yi tahkik yoluyla inceleyerek tefsire yaklaşımı ve yöntemi incelenmiştir. Araştırmada el-Ûdvî'nin hayatı ve ilmi kişiliğinin yanı sıra onyedi eseri tek tek incelenmiştir. Farklı âlimlerin el-Ûdvî'nin ilmi kişiliği hakkındaki özgün görüşlerini de paylaştık. Tez, değerlendirme ve inceleme olarak iki ana kısımdan oluşmaktadır.
