However, later on pineapple peeler has begun to be developed in the form of pineapple peeler manually press by using human operator. Therefore through this research design, the author tried to ease the peeling of pineapple peel by designing a pineapple peeler equipment which had a larger capacity which to be more effective and efficient in pineapple peeling. This principle of the manual pineapple peeler and cutting was worked by moving the blades to the pineapple after cutted both of its end, then the cutted pineapple was place parallel on the pedestal tools with the bladesdirection move by manuallypressed. Irrigation efficiency on trickle irrigation system is higher than others, but it can only be applied by the rich farmers who have big finance, due to high investation for infrastructure, irrigation systems, and equipment. Effective and efficient water utilization are very important in plants cultivation in dry area to fulfill water requirement. Drip irrigation is considered as one of the alternative in fulfilling water requirement in correct time, volume and quality. The parameter used were water content, wetted area value, irrigation uniformity, and efficiency. One of process to find the machine velocity in processing of paper to become pulp is by testing its pulley diameter. This study was aimed to determine the effect of pulley diameter of pulp maker machine. The parameters measured were the effective capacity of machine, yield, and the percentage of loose material. This research was conducted from June to August 2016 at Agricultural Engineering Laboratory Agricultural Faculty University of Sumatera Utara,Medan. This research did to tested effect quantity of knife edge to effective capacity of the tool, percentage of material that fall behind in the tool, and percentage of material that didn’t slice completely.     Harnum Aritonang: The Engineering of Bio-briquette Stove, supervised by Ainun Rohanah and Taufik Rizaldi. Bio-carbon briquette is one of biomass fuel. Biomassa that applied in this research was rice hull. The exploiting of bio-briquette can be maximized by using bio-briquette stove with used cooking oil. This research was aimed to design the shape of bio-briquette. The parameters observed were fuel consumption stripper flame and economic analisys. The result of the research showed that the fuel consumption with used cooking oil for to boil 1 litre of water was 0,18 gr/s, 3 litres of water was 0,12 gr/s, and 5 litres of water was 0,09 gr/s. So, alternative energy is needed which environment friendly by the use of plastic waste as fuel. This research as aimed to compare fuel from plastic (Polyethylene), cosmetic bottle (HDPE) and aqua Bottle (PET) with kerosene. This research was done in Agriculture Engineering Laboratory, and in Physical Chemistry Laboratory of MIPA and Heat Engine Laboratory Faculty of Engineering in August 2014 until finish using completely randomized non factorial design with plastic (Polyethylene), cosmetic bottle (HDPE) and aqua Bottle (PET).     Rio Baruna Sirait (100308064) dengan judul skrispsi “Uji Jarak Silinder Pengepress Terhadap Kualitas Emping Melinjo Pada Alat Pencetak Keripik Biji-Bijian ”. Dibimbing oleh Ibu Ainun Rohanah, STP, M. Si dan Bapak Ir. Saipul Bahri Daulay, M.Si. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji jarak silinder pengepress terhadap kualitas emping pada alat pencetak keripik biji-bijian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa emping melinjo yang dihasilkan dikategorikan pada kualitas 2, yaitu bentuk tidak seragam, berwarna putih tetapi tidak bening, ketebalan seragam, dan bisa langsung digoreng setelah selesai dicetak. Rendemen tertinggi dihasilkan pada perlakuan R3yaitu sebesar 83% dan terendah pada perlakuan R1yaitu sebesar 78,2%.Kapasitas olah tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan R3 yaitu sebesar 3,01 kg/jam dan terendah pada perlakuan R1yaitu sebesar 2,61 kg/jam.60 HalamanSkripsi Sarjan

    “Rohanah, 2013´ The application of cooperative learning model to improve learning outcomes lesson services skills (grammar book in class VIII (eight), junior high school 274 West Jakarta". This study aimed to describe the ability of teachers to improve student learning outcomes VIII (Eight) in junior high school Negeri 274 Jakarta. This study uses a form of data analysis research in leverage quantitative and qualitative data analysis, the results of descriptive analysis using qualitative and quantitative techniques are described with words or sentences, and the figures are split by category for the conclusion. Data collection using observation techniques documents, discussions and interviews. Results of qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis showed that: (a) cooperative learning can improve student learning outcomes in class VIII (Eight) Junior High School 274 West Jakarta District. (b) Significant improvement of student learning outcomes increase in cycle 1 cycle 2 and cycle 3. (c) Increased activity, cooperation and courage students from cycle 1, cycle 2 and cycle 3. It can be concluded that true cooperative learning can improve student learning outcomes to learning skills services (Tata Books). Student learning outcomes through competency testing showed an increase in the on cycle 1 test students' competence reaches KKM only 12 students, did not reach the KKM 20 students with a mean value of 67.9 increase in cycle 2 the students reaching the KKM is 21 students, did not reach the KKM 11 students with average values of 74.2 and in cycle 3 students achieving KKM is 29 students and not reach KKM 3 students with average value 78.1. The conclusion of this class action to improve student learning outcomes, activity, cooperation and courage students to service learning skills (grammar book) from cycle 1, cycle 2 and cycle 3

    MUHAMMAD IMAM AL HAKIM: Design and construction of liquid soap stirrer made from used cooking oil, supervised by AINUN ROHANAH and LUKMAN ADLIN HARAHAP. The process in making liquid soap from used cooking oil is an interesting thing to know. This research was held to design, construct, test, and analyze economic value of liquid soap stirrer made from used cooking oil. The parameter observed were water content, free fatty acid (FFA), alcohol insoluble part, effective capacity, yield, and economic analysis. Based on this research, it was summerized that effective capacity of this equipment was 20,2 l/hr. Yield percentage was 97,8%. Basic cost for the first to fifth year were Rp 735,95/l, Rp 738,08/l, Rp 738,38/l, Rp 739,76/l and Rp 741,24/l. Respectively break event point was 1,285 l/year. Net present value with 7,7% rate was Rp 125.039.610 and internal rate of return was 47,6%.84 HalamanSkripsi Sarjan
