Avaliação das intervenções de educação em saúde sobre gravidez na adolescência e doenças sexualmente transmissíveis em duas escolas do Município de Patos-PB
Get PDFIntrodução: A sexualidade é muito importante na fase da adolescência. A gravidez e as doenças sexualmente transmissíveis tornam-se, então, um problema nesta fase da vida. A gravidez na adolescência hoje é considerada um problema de saúde pública por acarretar problemas sociais e psicológicos. Objetivo: Avaliar as Intervenções de Educação em Saúde sobre Gravidez na Adolescência e Doenças Sexualmente Transmissíveis em duas Escolas do Município de Patos¿PB.
Metodologia: Estudo de intervenção com amostra não probabilística por conveniência com 108 alunos do 8º e 9º ano, de duas escolas, selecionadas de acordo com os critérios de inclusão, sendo uma particular e outra municipal da cidade de Patos (PB). Foram realizadas 04 oficinas de cada tema e os alunos, identificados por codinomes, foram avaliados antes e após a realização das oficinas.
Foi realizada a análise descritiva de todas as variáveis do estudo, os testes de Quiquadrado,
McNemar e dos sinais. Resultados: Observa-se que a amostra é homogênea com relação a distribuição por sexo, ano escolar e cor. Apreende-se, pelo teste de Qui-quadrado, a existência de uma associação significativa entre escolas e renda (p<0,05), predominando uma renda equivalente a um salário
mínimo. Para quem estuda em escola estadual. Com relação a religião, na escola particular prevalece a religião católica (p<0,05). Observa-se, pelo teste de McNemar uma mudança de conhecimento sobre alguns métodos contraceptivos tanto na escola particular quanto na escola estadual (p<0,05).Conclusão: Devido ao aumento de conhecimento percebe-se uma efetividade das intervenções aplicadas, entendendo a necessidade de uma continuidade dessa intervenções. Espera-se que
esses alunos tornem-se multiplicadores em saúde e dessa forma contribua para obter melhores resultados nesses índices de saúde.Introduction: sexuality is very important at the stage of adolescence. Pregnancy and

pregnancy today is considered a public health problem causing social and
psychological problems Objective: Evaluate health education interventions on teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted Diseases in two schools in the city of Patos ¿ PB.
Methodology: intervention study with non-probability sample of convenience with
108 students in the 8th and 9th year of two schools, selected according to the
inclusion criteria, being a particular and another Hall of the city of Patos (PB). 04
were held workshops in each theme and students, identified by codenames were
assessed before and after the workshops. Descriptive analysis was performed of all
variables of the study, the Chi-square test, McNemar and signals.
Results: It is observed that the sample is homogeneous with respect to distribution
by sex, grade and color. The Chi-square test, the existence of a significant
association between schools and income (p < 0.05) with an income equivalent to the
minimum wage. For those who study in State school. With respect to religion, in
particular school prevails the Catholic religion (p < 0.05). It is observed, the McNemar
test a change of knowledge about some contraceptive methods both in private school
and in the non-private School (p < 0.05).
Conclusion: Due to the increase of knowledge is an effectiveness of interventions
implemented, understanding the need for a continuum of interventions. It is expected
that these students become multipliers in health and in this way contribute to better
results in these health indices
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
