Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Tema-tema ayat ilmu pengetahuan : Sains dalam Al Quran dengan pendekatan tafsir Ilmi
Full text linkIlmu pengetauan modern sains ini menjadi sebuah jalan penghubung untuk mehahami ayat-ayat kaun tentang alam, karenanya dibutuhkan sebuah pemahaman untuk menjelaskan makna yang terkandung dalam ayat-ayat kauniyyah. Penafsiran Alquran ini akan terus berkembang seiring dengan kemajuan sains dan ilmu pengetahuan, inilah sisi kemukzijatan Alquran dibandingkan dengan kitab-kitab lainnya, dimana kitab-kitab selain Alquran yang berlaku kepada kaum tertentu, sedangkan Alquran akan terus berlaku untuk semuat umat hingga akhir zaman. Untuk memahami apa yang ingin disampaikan oleh Alquran dalam ayat-ayat kaniyyah-Nya maka tafsir ilmi yang mencoba mempermudah cara untuk memahami Alquran, bahwa dengan sains Alquran akan lebih mudah untuk dipahami.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa yang ingin disampaikan oleh Al-Qur’an melalui ayat-ayat kauniyyah-Nya, dengan banyaknya ayat-ayat yang berhubungan dengan kealaman, ilmu pengetahuan modern ambil peran dalam membantu menjelaskan ayat-ayat kauniyyah-Nya, bahwa dengan sains Alquran lebih mudah dipahami.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Sains sebagai alat pemahaman terhadap ayat-ayat ilmi pengetahuan atau ayat kauniyyah membantu mempermudah pemahaman dari sekian banyak tema ilmiah yang ada, bahwa dengan adanya sains Alquran akan lebih mudah di pahami. Karena Alquran yang bersifat mutlak sedangkan ilmu pengetahuan modern yang bersifat dinamis dan berubah seiring dengan berkembangnya penemuan-penemuan sains. Maka seiring dengan terjadinya penemuan baru maka akan berpengaruh terhadap perubahan makna dari tema ayat ilmiah itu sendiri. sehingga terdapat sebuah pergeseran pemahaman makna dari setiap mufassir tafsir ilmi ini. Seperti salah satu tema ilmiah mengenai fase penciptaan manusia dalam Qs. Al-Mu’minun, 23: 14 pada penafsiran kelasik ayat ini ditafsirkan dengan segumpal darah yang membeku mudgah, namun dalam dunia kedokteran diartikan dengan zigot. Ini menjadi bukti bahwa penafsiran Alquran dengan menggunakan sains akan terus berkembang

No full textKelas hibrid membutuhkan kamera yang dapat menangkap setiap posisi pendidik dan juga siswa di kelas agar pendidik dapat mengajar siswa di kelas maupun siswa yang hadir secara daring dengan efisien, serta agar siswa yang hadir secara daring dapat mempelajari setiap materi selama kelas berlangsung tanpa merasakan adanya batasan terhadap ruang kelas. Kamera tersebut perlu memiliki kemampuan menangkap setiap posisi pendidik saat mengajar, dan nenangkap siswa luring ketika hendak berbicara di kelas. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan sebuah smart camera system yang terdiri atas smart camera unit dan aplikasi desktop Bernama Hycam. Sistem tersebut memungkinkan kamera mendeteksi wajah pendidik saat mengajar, dan siswa saat berbicara di kelas, sehingga keduanya dapat terlihat oleh siswa daring selama kelas hibrid berlangsung. Hibrid classes require cameras that can capture every position of lecturer and students
in the class so that lecturer can teach onsite and online students efficiently, and so that online
students can learn to every material during class without feeling the limitations of the
classroom. The camera needs to have the ability to capture every position of the lecturer while
teaching, and capture offline students when they want to speak in class.
In this study, a smart camera system was developed which consisted of a smart camera
unit and a desktop application called Hycam. The system allows the camera to detect the faces
of lecturer while teaching, and students while speaking in class, so both can be seen by online
students during hibrid classes. This system also allows lecturer and students to control the
camera using hand gestures with three conditions, including the lecturer controlling the
students returning the camera position to the lecturer

Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner yang telah disebarkan, banyak dari masyarakat merasa kesulitan dalam menyampaikan Aspirasi kepada pemerintah daerah, khususnya organisasi perangkat daerah. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun aplikasi layanan aspirasi masyarakat khususnya di kabupaten Belitung dengan menggunakan metode Watrefall. Dengan memanfaatkan fitur-fitur yang ada pada smartphone, pada aplikasi yang dibangun masyarakat dapat menyampaikan aspirasi dengan dilengkapi foto yang dapat diambil langsung dari kamera pada smartphone ataupun yang diambil dari galeri pada smartphone pengguna, serta dilengkapi dengan alamat yang diambil dari posisi pengguna, ataupun memilih titik terkait dengan aspirasi yang akan disampaikan dnegan memanfaatkan Google Maps API. Pada aplikasi yang dibangun pengguna dapat menyampaikan aspirasinya secara realtime, melihat tindak lanjut terkait aspirasi yang disampaikan serta dapat meberikan penilaian terkait tindak lanjut dari aspirasi. Diharapkan dengan adanya aplikasi layanan masyarakat khususnya di kabupaten Belitung, dapat mempermudah masyarakat dalam menyampaikan aspirasinya, serta dapat mempermudah pemerintahan daerah untuk memonitoring terkait tindak lanjut dari aspirasi masyarakat

Similarly, companies engaged in the sale of vehicles were also affected, because the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) reported that the volume of motorcycle sales distributed in October had decreased compared to the previous months. AISI data noted that there were 317,830 motorcycles distributed last October. Its volume fell 16.85% on a monthly basis compared to the previous month.
