Analisis Sosiologi Sastra Dalam Novel Megat Karya Rida K Liamsi
Get PDFLiterary sociology is a study that examines the relationship of literary work with humans in society and its social processes. Novel Megat Karya Rida K Liamsi contains many elements of literary sociology, especially ethical, social and cultural aspects. The research problem is (1) how is the ethical aspect in the novel Megat Karya Rida K Liamsi, (2) how is the social aspect in the novel Megat Karya Rida K Liamsi, (3) how is the cultural aspect in the novel Megat Karya Rida K Liamsi. The research objective was to find data and information about aspects of ethics, social aspects, and cultural aspects in the novel Megat Karya Rida K Liamsi. The scope of the research is included in the literary criticism of the study of sociology of literature. Problem limitation is that researchers limit the aspects of ethics, social aspects, and cultural aspects. The theories used are the theory of Sikana (1986), Soekanto (2013), Faruk (2012), Semi (2013), Salam (2012), Endraswara (2011), as well as other theories that support this study. The data source is the entire contents of the novel Megat Karya Rida K Liamsi. This literature sociology research approach uses a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The method used is descriptive method. The data collection technique used is hermeneuic technique. The results of the study and the amount of data in the novel Megat Karya Rida K Liamsi contained several ethical aspects, namely (1) ethics of data responsibility, ethics of data conscience, and ethics of data rights and obligations 6. Ethical aspects contained in the novel Megat Karya Rida K Liamsi are reflected in the attitudes and behavior of the characters seen in the story. (2) The social aspects contained in Megat Karya Rida K Liamsi's novel are social interaction 27 data, social group 2 data, and social conflict 4 data. The social aspect in Rida K Liamsi's Megat novel can be seen from the way leaders interact, in groups, and the social conflicts in the novel. (3) Cultural aspects contained in the novel Megat Karya Rida K Liamsi, namely aspects of language 11 data, knowledge systems 7 data, life equipment systems and 9 data technology, 4 data livelihood systems, and religious systems totaling 13 data from quotations in novels Megat by Rida K Liamsi

Liamsi; (3) Mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan faktor yang mendorong adanya
transformasi budaya dalam novel Bulang Cahaya karya Rida K. Liamsi; dan (3)
mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan budaya Melayu dalam novel Bulang Cahaya
karya Rida K. Liamsi.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan
pendekatan sosiologis. Data dalam penelitian berupa struktur teks dalam Novel
Bulang Cahaya karya Rida K. Liamsi. Sumber data adalah Novel Bulang Cahaya
karya Rida K. Liamsi yang diterbitkan oleh JP Book Surabaya bekerja sama
dengan Yayasan Segang Pekanbaru tahun 2007, cetakan pertama dengan tebal
buku 317 halaman. Teknik pengumpulan data mengikuti paradigma penelitian
kualitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan bersifat selektif studi kepustakaan
(library research), yaitu mencatat dokumen-dokumen atau arsip yang berkaitan
erat dengan tema penelitian dan tujuannya (purpose sampling). Analisis data yang
digunakan adalah model interaktif (interactive model of analysis). Teknik ini
meliputi tiga komponen, yaitu reduksi data (data reduction), sajian data (data
display), dan penarikan simpulan (conclusion drawing).
Simpulan penelitian dikemukakan berikut ini. (1) unsur-unsur pembangun
dalam novel Bulang Cahaya ini meliputi alur flashback, tokoh utama Raja
Djaafar, latar tempat dalam novel ini adalah di daerah Kepulauan Riau sampai ke
pantai timur semenanjung Malaysia dengan latar belakang sejarah Kerajaan
Melayu Riau Lingga, latar waktunya siang dan sore hari, latar suasana yang
digambarkan perasaan dendam, cemburu, dan saling berebut kekuasaan, tema
yang diangkat dalam novel ini adalah percintaan yang tak sampai dengan dikemas
dalam politik kekuasaan, sudut pandang menggunakan sudut pandang orang
ketiga serba tahu; (2) faktor yang memengaruhi transformasi budaya Melayu yaitu
kontak dengan kebudayaan lain, konflik antara Melayu dan Bugis, dan politik
dalam berebut kekuasaan; (3) budaya Melayu dalam novel Bulang Cahaya ini
meliputi transformasi sistem kepercayaan, budaya turun temurun, sistem
peralatan, bidang agama, serta transformasi bidang bahasa.

The formulation of this problem was the objective of this research was to analyze novel character of language politeness Megat work Rida K Liamsi. Further, the benefits of this research that was practical and theoretical in term of contrubution. The basic theory of politeness language was used and the nature of the novel. This type of research was qualitative. The method used was descriptive analytic method. Data collection techniques was documentation and librarianship in analyzing the words, phrases, clauses, or sentences that express politeness language speaking. Technique of data analysis performed by reading to concluded the results. The results of this research were identified as many as 35 maksim wisdom; 14 conspiracy, 13 awards, 13 generosity, 4 simplicity, and 9 sympathy respectively
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
