    No full text
International audienceThis article analyses Rick Riordan's Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard trilogy and its dialogue with Norse mythology, transmitted through Norse literature. The author examines the reinterpretation of the myths from different angles, showing firstly how Riordan Americanises them, while taking a critical look at today's capitalist society and its lack of tolerance. He also modernises the mythical figures by giving them new attributes and passions, making them comprehensible to today's young readers. Furthermore, Magnus Chase contributes to the deconstruction of traditional gendered representations, notably through Alex and Loki, associating them with transgender characters. The figure of Loki is particularly interesting in Riordan's work, which emphasises his tragic side, both malefactor and victim of the gods and predestination. Table des matièresIntroductionUn univers américano-nordiqueUn regard critique sur la sociétéLa mythologie nordique moderniséeUne mise à jour des représentations genréesUne nouvelle forme d’héroïsmeLoki, figure tragique prisonnière de son destinConclusionArtikeln analyserar Rick Riordans triologi om Magnus Chase och dess dialog med nordisk mytologi.
