Desinstituyente instituido: la discursividad académica administrativa frente al imaginario colectivo de la singularidad escolar
Get PDFEste artículo es un ejercicio de reflexión, después de tres años de búsqueda arqueológica en distintos colegios de la ciudad de Cali, que indaga por la naturaleza del grafiti, no artístico, como un elemento significante que emerge de la naturaleza de la singularidad escolar, en tanto mecanismo que resiste a la naturaleza dictatorial de la enunciación oficial, para hacer emerger otra cosa, un territorio en conflicto, un imaginario en ebullición, un contra discurso. De ahí que en este se demuestra, a través de un análisis arqueológico del monumento, el grafiti: primero, el discurso oficial académico como una enunciación de poder que niega lo otro, la singularidad educable; segundo, el grafiti como una acción que desinstituye el discurso oficial, pero que siempre se da de un modo oculto, el quién, el por qué, y el para qué, siempre circunda la nada; por último, se concluye que ante la enunciación oficial administrativa la singularidad educable resiste de un modo puntual, creando un espacio propio de enunciación.Palabras clave: alteridad, decible, grafiti, instituyente, singularidad.

No full textThe critical study demonstrates how to do philosophy in a culture trapped in the digital age, technocracy, infodoxa, and artificial intelligence (AI), through Friedrich Nietzsche’s investigative technique. Regarding the methodology, an examination of the documentary archive is carried out, which gives epistemological value to the prologue in the author's most recognized works in the West. In this sense, it is concluded that—faced with the bleak panorama of a world trapped in the tyrannical paradigm of the algorithms produced by AI—a thinker stands like a sphinx to restore to human beings the illusion of living through the rebellion of a sharp intellectual exercise: the technique of visceral, organic and genealogical research through a slow, rigorous and constant process that returns the central role to writing, reading and the intertwining with the cultural and historical context of the actor in the comedy of life.El presente estudio crítico demuestra cómo hacer filosofía en una cultura atrapada en la era digital, la tecnocracia, la infodoxa y la inteligencia artificial (IA), a través de la técnica investigativa de Friedrich Nietzsche. Respecto a la metodología, se realiza un examen de archivo documental que le da valor epistemológico al prólogo en las obras más reconocidas en Occidente del autor. En ese sentido, se concluye que, ante el panorama sombrío de un mundo atrapado en el paradigma tirano de los algoritmos que produce la IA, un pensador se erige como esfinge para devolverle al ser humano la ilusión de vivir desde la rebeldía de un ejercicio intelectual agudo: la técnica de investigar visceral, orgánica y genealógicamente desde un proceso pausado, riguroso y constante que les devuelve el papel central a la escritura, la lectura y el entretejerse con el contexto cultural e histórico del actor en la comedia de la vida

No full textThe work is a critical study that shows the vision of Karl Marx, Richard Wagner and Friedrich Nietzsche on the Jewish Question, as a vision of the world that has produced a colonial discourse. The methodology will be critical: the forms of domination that have emerged from the Jewish question are highlighted: messianic morality, art as an industry and politics as science. The conclusion is that in the Jewish question the same social ideological pattern was drawn for the West: the institution of a colonial imaginary of one people over the others.El trabajo es un estudio crítico que muestra la visión de Karl Marx, Richard Wagner y Friedrich Nietzsche sobre la Cuestión Judía, en tanto visión del mundo que ha producido un discurso colonial. La metodología será crítica: se ponen en evidencia las formas de dominación que han surgido desde la cuestión judía: la moral mesiánica, el arte como industria y la política como ciencia. La conclusión es que en la cuestión judía se dibujaba un mismo patrón ideológico social para occidente: la institución de un imaginario colonial de un pueblo sobre los demás. A obra é um estudo crítico que mostra a visão de Karl Marx, Richard Wagner e Friedrich Nietzsche sobre a Questão Judaica, como uma visão de mundo que produziu um discurso colonial. A metodologia será crítica: são destacadas as formas de dominação que emergiram da questão judaica: a moral messiânica, a arte como indústria e a política como ciência. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. No full textThe review article is a study of scientific articles in which a critical dialogue has been presented about the paradigms of Public Administration in Latin America, in the context of governments among the years 1990 to 2020, evidencing the processes of continuity or rupture between the state bureaucratic models of the New Public Management and that of the Post-New Public Management. The methodology is critical: exhaustive examination of the most recent sources that have worked on the disciplinary field of Public Administration in Latin America. The conclusion is that, although it is true in the documents examined, a phenomenon of rational transition from a paradigm of state bureaucracy to that of the New Public Management is observed, without being able to fully delve into the Post-New Public Management, what really remains Of course, in the last two paradigms, it is the bureaucratic paradigm that has been restructured by Latin American governments in the context of corporate capitalism of the digital age.El artículo de revisión es un estudio de los artículos científicos en los que se ha presentado un diálogo crítico sobre los paradigmas de la Administración Pública en Latinoamérica, en el contexto de los gobiernos entre los años 1990 a 2020, evidenciando los procesos de continuidad o ruptura entre los modelos burocrático estatal, de la Nueva Gestión Pública y el de la Posnueva Gestión Pública. La metodología es crítica: examen exhaustivo de las fuentes más recientes que han trabajado el campo disciplinar de la Administración Pública en Latinoamérica. La conclusión es que, si bien es cierto en los documentos examinados se observa un fenómeno de transición racional de un paradigma de la burocracia estatal al de la Nueva Gestión Pública, sin, lograr adentrarse de lleno en la Posnueva Gestión Pública, lo que queda realmente claro, es que, en los dos últimos paradigmas, es el paradigma burocrático el que ha sido reestructurado por los gobiernos Latinoamericanos en el contexto de un capitalismo corporativo de la era digital

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Get PDFWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
