PENURUNAN KAPASITAS IMBUHAN AIR TANAH CAT JAKARTA MENGGUNAKAN METODE NERACA AIR UNTUK DAERAH URBAN
Before rapid urban development happened in DKI Jakarta during the 1960s, most of the area was still covered by primary forest and swamp, so that recharge potential is still very high. Landuse change causes disruption of recharge capacity to replenish groundwater storage. Groundwater recharge an essential component to estimate the amount of water that flows into the groundwater storage. This research applies a method of annual recharge calculation developed in Jabotabek Water Resources Management Study (JWRMS) for Jakarta Groundwater Basin area. In this method, calculation is distinguished for both impermeable area (such as paved road, settlement, etc.) and permeable area (such as open green space, rice field, etc.). In 1900, groundwater recharge for the entire Jakarta, ranging from 500 – 1500 mm/year, even in Bekasi and Depok it reached up to 2000 mm/year. The results of groundwater recharge calculation in 1991 - 2014 shows that generally the groundwater value in Jakarta Groundwater Basin is less than 250 mm/year, although there are small areas that still have recharge potential. Recharge percentage value ranging from 4% to 20%, and the groundwater recharge average in Jakarta Groundwater Basin is 15% of rainfall.

GROUNDWATER FLOW SIMULATION OF JAKARTA WITH SOME SCENARIOS USING IMOD
The imbalance between excessive groundwater abstraction and the decreasing of groundwater recharge capacity in Jakarta Groundwater Basin has resulted groundwater cone of depression in some areas. Groundwater simulation is conducted to determine the right solution in restoring groundwater condition of Jakarta. Numerical groundwater flow simulation are performed on actual condition and projection up to 2080 with some scenarios including addition of abstraction, reduction of abstraction, recharge capacity improvement, addition of injection wells, and combination of increasing the abstraction and recharge capacity imporvement. The simulation using groundwater flow model called Interactive MODeling (IMOD) by applying finite difference method. Groundwater cone of depression in actual condition occurs in residential and industrial areas, such as: Pulogadung, East Jakarta; Cengkareng and Tambora, West Jakarta; and Bekasi as well. The projection result concludes that controlling the groundwater abstraction is the most influential factor for groundwater recovery in Jakarta. Reduction of groundwater abstraction by 10%/year can recover groundwater level about 0,3 – 0,6 m/year. Groundwater level will remain decline, if groundwater abstraction remains continued, even though there are injection wells or recharge capacity improvement. Raw water supply from surface water needs to be met for all water need in Jakarta, as an effort to stop excessive groundwater abstraction

Water Supply Scheme in Morotai Island
Morotai Island is designated as one of the National Tourism Strategic Area, and has increased demand for pure water. It is known as a dry area where water is difficult to obtain, and therefore, it is necessary to prepare a supply scheme to meet the island's demand. Hence, this study aims to obtain supply protocol from various available sources, in order to meet all water demands, especially for tourism sector development. The several methods used in this research include demand calculation for domestic, industry, irrigation, livestock, and tourism; rainfall-runoff simulation using Wflow model and estimation of groundwater availability using the baseflow recession method. Furthermore, surface balance shows the water availability in each sub-districts is not able to meet the demands. To overcome this problem, a supply scheme has been prepared, e.g. surface water utilization by constructing free intake in North Morotai, groundwater use by constructing dug and drilled wells in many locations, especially coastal areas, spring water utilization by creating a collection system (broncaptering) in Jaya, East and South Morotai. Furthermore, small islands can utilize springs and shallow dug wells, to prevent seawater intrusion from affecting the quality. The scheme suggests an appropriate infrastructural support to supply local communities, as well as develop the Island to be the new primary tourism center in Indonesia.
