Saran ditepikeun ka guru basa Sunda sangkan ngagunakeun novél Rasiah Kodeu Binér pikeun alternatif bahan pangajaran aprésiasi sastra, lantaran ieu novél geus nyumponan sababaraha kritéria milih bahan ajar, sarta euyeub ku ajén moral kamanusaan anu luyu jeung karakteristik katut kapribadian siswa di sakola. Pamungkas mugia ieu panalungtikan bisa ngeuyeuban hasanah kasusastraan Sunda dina hal panalungtikan sastra.----------Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan unsur struktural dan nilai etnopedagogik yang terkandung di dalam novel anak Rasiah Kodeu Biner, kemudian menerapkan hasil penelitiannya sebagai salah satu alternatif bahan pengajaran apresiasi sastra di SMP. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Rasiah Kodeu Biner karya Dadan Sutisna. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Sedangkan teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik telaah pustaka, analisis data, dan teknik interpretasi. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa tema novel adalah tentang usaha sekelompok anak untuk memecahkan rahasia yang terdapat dalam sebuah surat yang ditulis menggunakan bilangan biner. Alur yang digunakan adalah alur campuran, pengarang langsung mengajak pembaca untuk masuk ke dalam jalan cerita melalui percakapan para tokoh. Jumlah tokoh 43 orang, terbagi menjadi dua yaitu tujuh orang sebagai tokoh utama, dan sisanya 36 orang sebagai tokoh tambahan. Latar yang ditemukan di antaranya latar tempat, latar waktu, dan latar sosial. Judul yang digunakan telah mewakili isi cerita. Pengarang menggunakan sudut pandang orang ketiga. Bahasa yang digunakan adalah bahasa sehari-hari yang mudah dipahami oleh anak-anak. Suasana yang tergambar dalam novel di antaranya suasana lingkungan dan suasana batin para tokoh. Novel Rasiah Kodeu Biner memiliki nilai etnopedagogik moral kemanusiaan. Terdapat 11 sikap menunjukan moral manusia terhadap Tuhan (MMT), 32 sikap menunjukan moral manusia terhadap pribadi (MMP), 12 sikap menunjukan moral manusia terhadap manusia lain (MML), satu sikap menunjukan moral manusia terhadap alam (MMA), satu sikap menunjukan moral manusia terhadap waktu (MMW), dan 12 sikap menunjukan moral manusia dalam mengejar kepuasan lahiriah dan batiniah (MMLB). Saran ditujukan kepada guru bahasa Sunda supaya menjadikan novel Rasiah Kodeu Biner sebagai alternatif bahan pengajaran apresiasi sastra karena novel ini telah memenuhi beberapa kriteria pemilihan bahan ajar, serta banyak mengandung nilai moral kemanusian yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kepribadian siswa di sekolah. Semoga penelitian ini dapat memperkaya hasanah kesusastraan Sunda dalam hal penelitian sastra.----------The purpose of this research is to describe the structure elements that contained in the kids novel Rasiah Kodeu Biner, then the results are used for alternative appreciation teaching material of literature in junior high school. Data sources of this study is a novel entitle Rasiah Kodeu Biner work of Sutisna, Dadan. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. While the technique used is the technique of literature review, data analysis and interpretation technique. The result of the research found that the theme of kids novel Rasiah Kodeu Biner is about a group of children attempt to solve the mystery in a letter which is written using binary number. The storyline that is used in this story is display mixing. Immediately, the author invites the reader to enter the storyline through the conversation among the actors. The numbers of actor are 43 people that are divided into two, as follow: 7 people as main actors, and the remaining 36 persons as additional players. The settings found in this research are scene setting, setting of the time and social background. The title used is appropriate with the content of the story. The author uses third person perspective. The story uses daily language which is easily understood by kids. The atmosphere is reflected in the novel including: atmosphere of the environment and moods of the characters. Novel Rasiah Kodeu Biner has humanity moral etnopédagogical value. There are 11 shows human moral attitude to God, 33 shows the human moral attitude toward private, 12 shows human moral attitude against other humans, 1 show the human moral attitude towards nature, 1 show the human moral attitude towards time and 12 shows the human moral attitude in pursuing the satisfaction of outward and inward. The suggestions are addressed to Sudanese teacher. So that, novel Rasiah Kodeu Biner can be used as an alternative teaching material appreciation of literature, because the language and content of the story has appropriated with selection criteria for instructional materials, and contained a lot of moral values of humanity that appropriate with the characteristics and personality of students in the school.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktural novel Rasiah nu Goréng Patut karya Joehana yang dijadikan bahan ajar membaca novél di SMA kelas XI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan menggunakan telaah pustaka. Analisis struktural yang dilakukan adalah mengidentifikasi unsur intrinsik novel berupa tema, alur, setting, tokoh, gaya bahasa, dan amanat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa novel Rasiah nu Goreng Patut menceritakan tentang seseorang yang memiliki wajah buruk rupa dan pekerjaan yang rendah berkeinginan untuk memiliki istri yang cantik dan kaya raya. Novel ini mempunyai tema moral, memiliki alur cerita yang maju, setting utama dalam cerita ini dilakukan di rumah Eulis Awang dan Nyi Usni, dan yang menjadi tokoh utama dalam novel ini adalah Karnadi. Dalam penulisan novel ini dapat ditemukan gaya bahasa yang digunakan pengarang adalah bahasa Sunda sehari-hari. Amanat yang disampaikan dalam cerita ini yaitu jangan menghalalkan segala cara untuk mendapatkan sesuatu. Novel ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pembelajaran membaca, hususnya membaca novel pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Sunda di kelas XI

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
