L'uno e il molteplice: su Catull. 5
In Catull. 5, the author cleverly works out two ancient topoi (‘let’s love, because the night/death is coming’; ‘kisses are the joy of lovers’), gaining a well balanced structure of the poem. In comparison with contemporary Graeco-Roman poetry (erotic epigrams – such as Philod. AP 9, 570 –, the Epitaph of Bion), both themes are handled with a remarkable taste for originality, especially in their ‘numerical’ aspects, in order to put special emphasis on the basic contrast between nox una and basia mille

Dynamics of Network Formation Processes in the Co-Author Model
This article studies the dynamics in the formation processes of a mutual consent network in game theory setting: the Co-Author Model. In this article, a limited observation is applied and analytical results are derived. Then, 2 parameters are varied: the number of individuals in the network and the initial probability of the links in the network in its initial state. A simulation result shows a finding that is consistent with an analytical result for a state of equilibrium while it also shows different possible equilibria.Dynamics, Network, Game Theory, Model,Simulation, Equilibrium, Complexity

"Reflexiones sobre la traducción: problemáticas y retos"
This paper encompasses translation and interpreting training in Italy with a bird’s eye view. The author —a former free-lance interpreter and translator now working as a teacher and a researcher in this field— tries to refute some of the most typical topics of translation: general vs. specialised translation, technical vs. literary, mediation vs. interpretation. These broad areas are dealt with in a quite provocative way, until coming to an alternative proposal of training
«Dolcezza, brevità e chiarezza, vere e sole qualità de’ componimenti musicali». Ottavio Tronsarelli e i suoi «Drammi musicali»
The article examines for the first time the relevant collection of the “Drammi musicali” (Rome, 1631) by Ottavio Tronsarelli. Primarily, this study aims to throw light on patronage, circumstances and dating of at least a part of these “drammi”, and to guess the name of possible composers of music, which presently are all unknown, except J.H. Kapsberger, which set to music the dramma “Fetonte”. Secondly, this study aims to discern different genres of ‘poesia per musica’, which are exemplified in these heterogenous works, labelled by the author as “drammi musicali”, to the purpose of showing the relationship with various performance practices, both musical and theatrical, of their age, rather than our current categories of music history. Finally, this study considers some aspects of metrics of the ‘drammi’ in relation with the music setting, as well as some dramaturgical aspects arising from stage directions, which sometimes author placed on the margin of the text
Genetic Data Retention and the Italian Discipline of Acquittal: Database Improvement and the Fundamental Rights of the Individual
This paper analyses how DNA sampling and genetic data retention can affect the fundamental rights of the individual. In particular, the author tries to focus on the data deletion in the discipline of the DNA database. In fact, the Italian legal discipline of the acquittal interacts with the regulation of data deletion, with the consequence that individual fundamental rights (i.e. the presumption of innocence, the principle of criminal responsibility based on illicit facts and not on personal qualities and the principle of equality) can be jeopardized by the retention of the genetic profiles in the DNA database
