The increasing problem of waste in Piyungan Landfill (TPST) is caused by the lack of maximum waste management in Piyungan Landfill (TPST). To be able to overcome the problem of waste requires many parties such as the role of the Mardiko Scavenger Community. With regard to these problems, the author discusses how the role of scavenger communities in waste management in Piyungan Landfill (TPST) as an effort to control pollution in Bantul Regency and whether there are obstacles related to the role of scavenger communities in waste management. management at Piyungan Landfill (TPST) as an effort to control pollution in Bantul Regency. This research is an empirical legal research in which it is based on social facts. The data taken in this study is primary data supplemented with secondary data. The data collection methods used are interviews and literature studies. The data analysis method used is qualitative data analysis. From the results of research that has been done, the authors can conclude that the role of the Mardiko Scavenger Community in waste management in Piyungan Landfill (TPST) is still limited to sorting waste independently, has not managed waste as a whole because there are obstacles related to the role of the Mardiko Scavenger Community in waste management in Piyungan Landfill (TPST)

Predicting users' first impressions of website aesthetics with a quantification of perceived visual complexity and colorfulness

Users make lasting judgments about a website's appeal within a split second of seeing it for the first time. This first impression is influential enough to later affect their opinions of a site's usability and trustworthiness. In this paper, we demonstrate a means to predict the initial impression of aesthetics based on perceptual models of a website's colorfulness and visual complexity. In an online study, we collected ratings of colorfulness, visual complexity, and visual appeal of a set of 450 websites from 548 volunteers. Based on these data, we developed computational models that accurately measure the perceived visual complexity and colorfulness of website screenshots. In combination with demographic variables such as a user's education level and age, these models explain approximately half of the variance in the ratings of aesthetic appeal given after viewing a website for 500ms only.Engineering and Applied SciencesAccepted Manuscrip

Evaluation of Singular Value Decomposition based Digital Image Watermarking with Dither Quantization and Edge Detection. The use of singular value decomposition (SVD) in watermarking area has been developed by many researchers. In this paper, we describe our evaluation result against an SVD based watermarking scheme with Dither quantization and edge detection proposed by Mohan et al. As an evaluation benchmark, we use StirMark to produce modified images by various image attacks. The extracted watermarks from these images were compared with the original watermark by calculating its bit correlation ratio (BCR). The result shows that the scheme is robust against JPEG compression, rotation, scaling, and PSNR attack. The scheme is also quite robust to some extents against remove-line attack and cropping
