PCW-01 WALLET: post COVID wallet / Muhammad Fuad Abdul Rahman
Get PDFAfter the Covid-19 pandemic, basic activities are back to normal with few restrictions and all citizen must follow standard operation procedures (SOP) that has been provided by the government. One of the activities is money transaction, even with the rise of digital payment it still comes with its drawbacks. Physical money transaction also comes with drawbacks such as the risk of being infected being higher. PCW-01 is a wallet that reduces the user being infected by the virus. The main function of this product is one hand operation paper money dispenser. Additional functions are refillable hand sanitiser spray, cards and coins compartments. This product used no electronic components, just simple mechanisms which can be easily replaced or repaired. The user can easily identify the moveable parts visibly and feel by using high colour contrast and hemisphere texture. The objectives of PCW-01 are (1) to dispense paper money using one hand only (2) to reduce the risk of being infected by the virus, (3) able to hold cards and coins in the wallet and (4) has a refillable sanitiser spray. An online survey with 20 questions is given to 31 participants virtually. This is used to acquire relevant information from the respondents regarding their behaviour before, during and after making money transactions physically, their view on digital payment and its drawback and their opinion on a wallet. Based on the online survey, it is shown that most of the respondent has a problem while using digital payment, the most frequent are slow Wi-Fi or data connection, the app unable or slow to respond and the phone or electronic device is unable to scan the QR code. Furthermore, their main payment method in a physical store and sometimes sanitize their hands after paying to the cashier. Hopefully, this product can reduce the risk of being infected while making physical money transactions in a physical store. PCW-01 may not replace the traditional wallet but in our current issue, it provides an alternative option to people
The Socio-Historical Criticism Toward Sunnah and Ijma' In Fazlur Rahman Perspective
Get PDFSunnah and Ijma' are among the two propositions of Islamic law used by all schools of Sunni, which by Fazlur Rahman as a neo-modernist gives both specific concepts, and he succeeded in answering orientalists’ criticisms regarding the existence and strengths. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, and includes library research type. The analysis technique used is descriptive technique. The results of this study show that Fazlur Rahman recognizes the Sunnah and Ijma’ as the postulates of Islamic law, and he also describes them based on social and historical conditions critically, and refutes all criticisms and doubts of the orientalists, with the arguments can be proven by facts, data, and spectacular. This shows that the Sunnah and Ijma’ in Fazlur Rahman's view are the same as the previous classical scholars, and he is even able to describe them in a socio-historical and historical-critical frame.
Abstrak: Sunnah dan Ijma’ merupakan diantara dua dalil hukum Islam yang digunakan oleh semua mazhab Sunni, yang oleh Fazlur Rahman sebagai seorang neo-modernis memberikan konsep keduanya yang spesifik, dan ia berhasil menjawab kritikan-kritikan para orientalis mengenai eksistensi dan kekuatan keduanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif analisis, dan termasuk jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Teknik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Fazlur Rahman mengakui Sunnah dan Ijma sebagai dalil hukum Islam, dan ia juga memaparkan keduanya berdasarkan kondisi sosial dan historis secara kritis, serta membantah semua kritikan dan keraguan para orientalis, dengan argumen-argumen yang dapat dibuktikan dengan fakta, data, dan spektakuler. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Sunnah dan Ijma dalam pandangan Fazlur Rahman sama dengan para ulama klasik terdahulu, dan bahkan ia mampu menguraikan keduanya dalam bingkai sosio-historis dan kritik-historis.

The method used is under research and development (R&D) design with the following stages: 1) research and information collecting, 2) planning, 3) preliminary product development, 4) preliminary field testing, 5) main product revision, 6) main field testing, 7) operational product revision, 8) operational field testing, 9) final product revision and 10) dissemination and implementation. The data was collected through in-depth interview, participatory observation, document analysis and focus group discussion. The data is displayed in qualitative descriptive and the correlation among the variables will be analyzed using the interactive model of analysis

Language is a powerful tool that can be used as a source of inspiration for contemporary artists. For Malaysian conceptual artist Mohd Fuad Arif the Language plays a significant role in particular in his installations. Indeed for Mohd Fuad Arif the Language itself can be seen as artwork. Also, the specific question which investigated was the relationship between artist or artist intent, artwork, and spectator. The purpose of this paper was to provide a deeper insight into Mohd Fuad Arif’s artworks. This study attempted to decode some of his installations such as Pembukaan (The opening), Ya Allah Selamatkan Bumi Singapura (O Allah, Save Singapore). The different interpretations of the same subject are the main characteristic of the postmodern era. The author of this paper had his own interpretation of Mohd Fuad Arif’s installations.

Influences of artificial light on mating of black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens)—a review
Get PDFBlack soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) is a potential insect species which can convert biodegradable materials and some indigestible organic waste into valuable biomass. Because of having good quality of fat and protein, its production and use in animal feed are being extended day by day. To fulfill the future demand re-searchers are trying to find out the successful mass rearing techniques of H. illucens in laboratory or indoor condition. However, the most critical part of H. illucens mass production is obtaining successful mating. This insect is very sensitive to light. It prefers direct sunlight for its successful mating however, artificial light has substantial effects on its mating behaviors. It was reported that light quality, intensity, duration have signifi-cant influences on the H. illucens successful mating and fertilized egg production. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pengungkapan laporan
keuangan dan kualitas laba terhadap biaya ekuitas dengan asimetri informasi
sebagai variabel moderasi. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah
perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-
2017. Sebanyak 87 perusahaan sampel diuji menggunakan Eviews. Hasil
pengujian membuktikan bahwa semakin tinggi pengungkapan laporan keuangan
dan kualitas laba dapat mengurangi biaya ekuitas. Hasil uji moderasi
menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi asimetri informasi, semakin memperkuat
hubungan negatif pengungkapan laporan keuangan dan kualitas laba terhadap
biaya ekuitas
Nef‘î’yi Tanzîren Keçecizâde Fuad Paşa’ya Yazılmış Manzum Mektup Örneği
No full textMakalemizin konusu “Hâdî” mahlaslı bir şair tarafından yazılmış “Manzum Mektup” örneğidir. Eser müellif hattı olup tek nüsha halindedir. Hâdî, eserin başlangıcında “Fuâd Paşa” ya sunulan bir mektup ve aynı zamanda “Nef’î” merhuma nazîre olduğunu ifade eden mensur bir giriş yapmıştır. Fuâd Paşa’nın hayatı hakkındaki tarihsel bilgilerden hareketle eserin şairinin kimliği ve yazılış tarihi saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Metin incelemesinden hareketle, eserin Türk Edebiyatı’ndaki yeri, şekil ve tür, dil, ifade ve üslûp özellikleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Zemin şiir olan Nef’î’ye ait Genç Osman Kasîdesi’nin de tamamı nakledilmiştir. Ayrıca orijinal metnin transkripsiyon yöntemi ile metin neşri yapılmıştır. Çalışmamızın konusu olan Nef’î’nin Genç Osman Kasîdesi’ne nazîre olan Hâdî’nin manzum mektup örneği, Fuâd Paşa'ya hitaben yazılmıştır. Araştırmalarımız neticesinde manzum mektup örneğinin Hâdî mahlaslı şairin Tanzîmat döneminde yaşamış “Ali Hâdî” isimli bir şair ve müellif olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Manzum mektup türüne de örnek teşkil eden Hâdî’nin eseri, klasik kasîde tertibinde kaleme alınmış bir nazîredir. Eserin Dîvân Edebiyatı’nın kullandığı şekil ve tür özelliklerinin yanı sıra mazmunlar, edebî sanatlar gibi dil, ifade ve üslûp bakımından Klasik dönemin ve Nef’î’nin şiirine yaklaştığını söylemek mümkündür.The aim of this study is to present the manuscript "Manzum Mektup" written by a poet with the pseudonym "Hâdî”. The manuscript, which is a single copy and author's own handwriting, consists of a prose introduction and a poem written in kasîde verse style. In the introduction, it is mentioned that this letter was presented to "Fuad Pasha" and was written as a nazîre to the poet "Nef'î", who had passed away before. There is no information about this work and its poet, other than the ones given above. Another purpose of this article is to determine the real name of the poet with the pseudonym Hâdî, who is the author of the manuscript, and to answer the question of who Fuad Pasha is, to whom the work is presented. As a result, based on some clues given in the letter about Fuad Pasha's life, it has been determined that the work was written for Keçecizâde Fuad Pasha, one of the great statesmen of the Tanzîmat period, and that Hâdî was a poet named Ali Hâdî, who lived in the same period. In addition, in our study, we focused on manzum mektup in Turkish literature and gave some information about its style, genre, language, expression and style. We also quoted the entire Young Osman Kasîda by Nef'î, which we determined to be the ground poem for the manzum mektup, and we wrote the original text of the letter with the transcription method.</div
