Jurusan Administrasi Pendidikan, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan. Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Pengembangan Sekolah Efektif di SD Inpres Timbuseng Kabupaten Gowa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan sekolah efektif di SD Inpres Timbuseng Kabupaten Gowa. Adapun pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Inpres Timbuseng Kabupaten Gowa. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan sekolah efektif dilakukan dengan cara sebagai berikut: (1) implementasi kepemimpinan instruksional di SD Inpres Timbuseng dilakukan dengan cara mencapai tujuan visi sekolah sehingga menjadi sumber utama berhasilnya suatu sekolah dengan begitu kepemimpinan instruksional dapat memfasilitasi para guru dalam meningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, (2) mengadakan program sekolah di SD Inpres Timbueng untuk memberikan kesempatan kepada guru-guru sehingga mendapatkan penyegaran yang berisi rencana kegiatan sekolah selama satu kalender akademik, (3) pemberian layanan pembelajaran yang bermutu di SD Inpres Timbuseng dengan cara pemanfaatan lingkungan secara maksimal sebagai sumber belajar yang diharapkan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, (4) adanya lingkungan belajar yang tertib dan nyaman di SD Inpres Timbuseng akan mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar dalam pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran, (5) pemberian penghargaan bagi guru dan staf serta siswa yang berprestasi di SD Inpres Timbuseng sebagai bentuk abresiasi serta memotivasi agar terus senantiasa giat dalam proses pembelajaran.     Kajian Perlindungan HAM Bagi Narapidana Perempuan Pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan di Sulawesi Selatan

    Abstract: This study examines the Protection of Human Rights for Woman in Prison Inmates in South Sulawesi. The aim of this study, was to determine: 1) implementation of the human rights protection of woman prisoners in prison in South Sulawesi, 2)-the condition of woman prisoners as inmates in prison in South Sulawesi, 3) the condition of facilities and infrastructure prison, 4) enabling and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the human rights protection of woman prisoners in prison in South Sulawesi. Research location is determined by quota sampling technique. The selected location is: Prison Class IIB Makassar, woman Prison Class II A in Sungguminasa. prison Class II B in Takalar, Prison Class II B in Barru, Prison Class II B in Pare-Pare. and prison Class II B in Pinrang. Subjects in this study were 257 women prisoners. The results showed that: 1) There are seven criteria for implementation of human rights protection women prisoners has been going well, namely: a) To worship according to the religion and belief; b) physical care; c) obtain adequate medical health care; d) get decent food services; e) submit a complaint to the officer; f) obtain reading materials and follow other broadcast media; and g) are given free time receive family visits, legal counsel or other particular person. There are five criteria for implementation of human rights protection women prisoners who have not implemented weil, namely: a) education and teaching; b) the provision of assistance and psychological guidance; c) providing guidance spiritual / religious; d) get wages for the work done; and e) get a chance to assimilate including leave and visiting family. 2) physical, social, and spiritual conditions for women prisoners have been implemented well. But the psychological condition women prisoners need special attention. 3) facilities and infrastructure prison classified representative but the required storage capacity wider prisoners. 4) There are five aspects of the enabling and inhibiting implementation of human rights protection in women cnsoners, namely: a) the budget, b) human resources (personnel), c) the character of prisoners, d) facilities and infrastructure, e) concern other institutions in contributing to guidance women prisoners

    ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TREFFINGER BERBASIS PERFORMANCE ASSESMENT TERHADAP HIGHORDER THINKING SKILLS DAN SELF REGULATION BIOLOGI KELAS X OLEH FINA ROSMALA DEWI Rendahnya kemampuan high order thinking skills (HOTS) dan self regulation peserta didik dikarenakan proses pembelajaran yang belum mengembangkan kemampuan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran treffinger berbasis performance assesment terhadap higher order thinking skills dan self regulation peserta didik kelas X, desain penelitian the matching only and pretes-posttets control group design, teknik pengambilan sample cluster random sampling, instrument penelitian dalam bentuk lembar tes high order thinking skills, angket self regulation, task dan lembar kerja peserta didik, angket respon siswa setelah pembelajaran, lembar self assessment dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas serta uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji manova. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis dua jalan sel tak sama diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu: (1) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran treffinger berbasis performance assesment terhadap kemampuan high order thinking skills sebesar Fhitung = 5800 yang dibandingkan dengan Ftabel = 1058 (Fhitung>Ftabel) (2) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran treffinger berbasis performance assesment terhadap self regulation sebesar Fhitung = 51800 yang dibandingkan dengan Ftabel = 1096 (Ftabel > Fhitung) (3) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran treffinger berbasis performance assesment terhadap kemampuan high order thinking skills dan self regulation peserta didik biologi

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang peningkatan hasil belajar murid pada mata pelajaran IPA melalui pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual di kelas V SD Negeri Hombes Armed Kabupaten Gowa. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini, bagaimana meningkatkan hasil belajar murid pada mata pelajaran IPA melalui pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual di kelas V SD Negeri Hombes Armed Kabupaten Gowa? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar murid pada mata pelajaran IPA melalui pembelajaran kontekstual di kelas V SD Negeri Hombes Armed Kabupaten Gowa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research). Yang berdaur ulang dengan tahapan kegiatan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri Hombes Armed Kabupaten Gowa tahun ajaran 2012/2013 sebanyak 21 orang murid dengan murid laki - laki 11 orang , sedangkan murid perempuan 10 orang. Fokus dalam penelitian ini yaitu penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dan hasil belajar IPA siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data dari hasil penelitian siklus I nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa masuk pada kategori kurang, selanjutnya siklus II meningkat menjadi kategori sangat baik, hal tersebut sebagai dampak dari meningkatnya aktifitas guru dan siswa. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual dapat meningkat hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V Sd Negeri Hombes Arm

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
