Roma: uno studio diacronico delle trasformazioni dell'area Ostiense
No full textQuesto lavoro ha come obiettivo lo studio delle trasformazioni del territorio oggi occupato dai quartieri Ostiense-Garbatella-Valco San Paolo tra le epoche romana arcaica, repubblicana e imperiale, articolato in fasi cronologiche e con particolare riferimento al condizionamento ambientale (geomorfologico in primo luogo) sull’organizzazione della viabilità e degli insediamenti.
Alle lacune sulla conoscenza della topografia antica di questo territorio si è cercato di sopperire non solo raccogliendo quante più informazioni possibili dal punto di vista strettamente archeologico (contenute nelle pubblicazioni periodiche, nella bibliografia edita e nei documenti inediti di scavo e d’archivio), ma anche rintracciando in altri tipi di fonti (storico – cartografiche e geografiche innanzitutto) elementi diversi (dai più vaghi disegni antiquari ai più tecnici resoconti geomorfologici) di un paesaggio oggi irriconoscibile perché completamente urbanizzato. I dati raccolti sono stati organizzati e gestiti in un GIS, che si è rivelato strumento particolarmente utile sia in fase analitica che nelle sintesi successive.
Al termine della ricerca, il dato principale che sembra emergere è quello di un’area anticamente caratterizzata da una multiforme e per certi aspetti inaspettata vitalità, che non corrisponde all’immagine di un territorio periurbano desolato o confinato alla sola funzione funeraria.
Se è innegabile il carattere prevalentemente sepolcrale del territorio antico, la sovrapposizione dei dati raccolti suggerisce la presenza di insediamenti e infrastrutture legati a intense attività portuali, commerciali e produttive in genere. La possibilità di sovrapporre layers diversi è stata di grande aiuto anche nell’identificazione di siti noti per ora solo dalle fonti classiche o epigrafiche e ancora poco conosciuti. Queste e altre ricostruzioni topografiche hanno tenuto conto dell’uniformità cronologica e del rapporto funzionale tra vari reperti spazialmente vicini, oltre che della loro distribuzione geografica, soprattutto in relazione alle risorse agricole ed estrattive locali (ad esempio sovrapponendo le informazioni bibliografiche alla Carta delle Unità di Paesaggio appositamente elaborata).
L’integrazione dei diversi dati è stata quindi utile alla comprensione dei resti che, visibili o meno, apparivano all’inizio della ricerca come un mero accumulo di informazioni difficilmente correlabili, sia l’una all’altra che in relazione all’ambiente originario circostante

No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

l'accrescimento e l'indice di conversione alimentare da 35 a 70 giorni e da 71 a 90 e
nell'intero periodo di accrescimento (da 35 a 90 giorni)
