Get PDFPaul Ricœur formulates his ethical goal as follows: aim for a good life, with and for others, in good institutions. This goal is formed mainly by his concept of “justice”, which Ricœur demonstrates through his interpretation of Rawls’ A Theory of Justice. In Rawls’ A Theory of Justice, Ricœur finds an implicit “ethical conviction”. Without this conviction, the procedural justice would be empty.
