    Rafia, Indy. 2021. KAJIAN TATA RUANG PENTAS PANGGUNG PROSCENIUM DI SURAKARTA. Tesis. Surakarta memiliki berbagai macam seni tradisi pada bidang tari dan teater. Seni teater tradisi yang masih bertahan hingga sekarang adalah kethoprak dan wayang orang. Pertunjukan kethoprak dan wayang orang dilaksanakan dalam sebuah panggung proscenium. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada bentuk tata ruang panggung proscenium di Surakarta yang dibatasi oleh Gedung Wayang Orang Sriwedari, Gedung Kesenian Taman Wisata Balekambang, dan Gedung Kesenian RRI. Tata ruang panggung proscenium memiliki bagian-bagian yaitu 1) Bingkai Proscenium, 2) border, 3) backdrop, 4) lantai panggung, 5) wing, 6) layar, dan 7) apron, 8) orchestra pit. Masalah yang perlu dirumuskan adalah 1) bagaimana sejarah munculnya panggung proscenium di Surakarta, 2) bagaimana bentuk tata ruang pentas panggung proscenium di Surakarta, 3) bagaimana keberadaan panggung proscenium di Surakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah munculnya panggung proscenium di Surakarta, bentuk tata ruang pentas dari panggung tersebut sesuai dengan bagian-bagiannya, serta keberadaan panggung proscenium di Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan bentuk dengan analisis teori bentuk panggung proscenium menurut Gene Lietermann dan sintesa analisis kajian banding. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa: pertama, panggung proscenium di Surakarta muncul bersamaan dengan kesenian kethoprak. Kesenian kethoprak yang belum memiliki tempat permanen untuk pementasan, kemudian menggunakan panggung tobong. Kedua, bentuk tata ruang pentas panggung proscenium di Gedung Wayang Orang Sriwedari merupakan yang paling lengkap bagian-bagiannya dan sesuai dengan fungsi masing-masing. Ketiga, terjadi perubahan bentuk panggung yang disebabkan oleh perubahan fungsi dan makna pada pementasan kethoprak dan wayang orang di Surakara. Perubahan tersebut dapat memberikan dampak baik maupun kurang baik dalam proses dan keberlangsungan pementasan

    ABSTRAKPanggung proscenium bisa juga disebut sebagai panggung bingkai karena penonton menyaksikan aksi aktor dalam lakon melalui sebuah bingkai atau lengkung Proscenium (proscenium arch). Tempat duduk penonton diatur untuk memberikan tampilan pertunjukan melalui lengkung proscenium di dinding. Penulis mengkaji bentuk bentuk tata ruang pada panggung procenium di Gedung Wayang Orang Sriwedari Surakarta. Bagian-bagian panggung yang dikaji adalah bingkai proscenium, border, backdrop, lantai panggung, wing, layar, apron, dan orchestra pit. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa bentuk tata ruang panggung proscenium  di Gedung Wayang Orang Sriwedari beserta alat dan bahan yang digunakan untuk seluruh bagian-bagian panggung, serta detail kekurangan serta kelebihannya dari alat dan bahan yang digunakan.ABSTRACTThe proscenium stage can also be called a framed stage because the audience watches the actors' actions through a proscenium arch or frame. The audience seating is arranged to give the show's appearance through the proscenium arch in the wall. The author examines the spatial forms on the proscenium stage in The Wayang Orang Sriwedari Building, Surakarta. The parts of the stage studied are the proscenium frame, border, backdrop, stage floor, wing, screen, apron, and orchestra pit. In this study, it was found that the spatial form of the proscenium stage at the Wayang Orang Sriwedari Building, along with the tools and materials used for all parts of the stage, as well as details on the advantages and disadvantages of the tools and materials used

    Blitar merupakan kota yang sedang melaksanakan pembangunan berkelanjutan dan menjadikannya sebagai latar belakang penyusunan RPJM (Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah) Kota Blitar Tahun 2005-2025. Pembangunan yang sedang dilakukan di Kota Blitar antara lain gedung pemerintahan, gedung kesenian, lapangan sirkuit, dan taman-taman kota. Salah satu yang belum dilaksanakan yaitu pembangunan gedung kesenian. Terwujudnya pembangunan gedung kesenian di Kota Blitar akan sangat menunjang program kesenian yang ada, mengingat perkembangan kesenian di Kota Blitar sangat pesat. Perancangan interior gedung kesenian sangat diperlukan demi terwujudnya sebuah gedung yang dapat memberikan fasilitas berkesenian yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat Kota Blitar. Perancangan interior gedung kesenian ini menggunakan tema Candi Penataran yang merupakan ikon Kota Blitar dan dikemas dalam gaya postmodern. Kata Kunci : Blitar, kesenian, Candi Penataran, postmodern Blitar is a city that is implementing sustainable development and make it as background MTDP (Medium Term Development Plan) Blitar City 2005-2025. The construction is being done in the city of Blitar City include government buildings, the building arts, circuit courts, and city parks. One that has not been implemented, namely the construction of the building arts. The realization of the construction of an art gallery in the city of Blitar City will support existing arts programs, considering the development of the arts in the city of Blitar very rapidly. Interior design art building is indispensable for the realization of a building that can provide art facilities that match the needs of the people of Blitar.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

    We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
