Summary
Simulation of mechanical injuries of various localization in the early period traumatic disease leads to the accumulation in serum IL-6. After application of the skeletal injuries observed vibrational dynamics rate of increase in the first – after 1 day, reduced to the level control – 3 days and again, but smaller in amplitude – after 7 days. In the dynamics of cranial injury rate increases significantly in 7 days compared to the control. After applying the combined trauma of the content in serum blood IL-6 1 day after reaching the maximum level and remains at that level to 7 days. After 3-7 days in this group figure significantly higher than in other groups, where modeled separately and individually skeletal, cranialin juries, this effect manifested their mutual encumbrance.
Key words: skeletal, cranial, cranioskeletal injury, interleukin-6, experiment

Altered lacunar and vascular porosity in osteogenesis imperfecta mouse bone as revealed by synchrotron tomography contributes to bone fragility
Osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease) is caused by mutations in the collagen genes and results in skeletal fragility. Changes in bone porosity at the tissue level indicate changes in bone metabolism and alter bone mechanical integrity. We investigated the cortical bone tissue porosity of a mouse model of the disease, oim, in comparison to a wild type (WT-C57BL/6), and examined the influence of canal architecture on bone mechanical performance.High-resolution 3D representations of the posterior tibial and the lateral humeral mid-diaphysis of the bones were acquired for both mouse groups using synchrotron radiation-based computed tomography at a nominal resolution of 700 nm. Volumetric morphometric indices were determined for cortical bone, canal network and osteocyte lacunae. The influence of canal porosity architecture on bone mechanics was investigated using microarchitectural finite element (?FE) models of the cortical bone. Bright-field microscopy of stained sections was used to determine if canals were vascular.Although total cortical porosity was comparable between oim and WT bone, oim bone had more numerous and more branched canals (p < 0.001), and more osteocyte lacunae per unit volume compared to WT (p < 0.001). Lacunae in oim were more spherical in shape compared to the ellipsoidal WT lacunae (p < 0.001). Histology revealed blood vessels in all WT and oim canals. ?FE models of cortical bone revealed that small and branched canals, typical of oim bone, increase the risk of bone failure. These results portray a state of compromised bone quality in oim bone at the tissue level, which contributes to its deficient mechanical properties
Alcohol and mortality in Ukraine
Ukraine has experienced a long-term decline in life expectancy since the late 1960s. While spectacular improvement in longevity has been observed in Western countries, the trend in Ukraine has been accompanied by increasing or stagnating mortality. Although many studies indicate that alcohol is one of the leading contributors to low life expectancy in Eastern Europe, little is known about its impact on premature mortality in Ukraine. The aim of this study is to estimate alcohol-attributable deaths at working ages (20-64) in Ukraine. We investigate the contribution of alcohol to adult mortality between 1980 and 2007 using a new method for estimating alcohol-attributable fractions by causes of death. We also assess the public health burden of alcohol in terms of length of life losses. We find that in 2007 alcohol-related deaths constituted 40% and 22% of all deaths among adult men and women, respectively. The results also indicate that alcohol-related deaths at working ages account for approximately one-third of the male and one-fifth of the female life expectancy difference between Ukraine and western countries. Alcohol is an important public health threat in Ukraine and should be addressed by relevant measures.
The Niltriangular Subalgebra of the Chevalley Algebra: the Enveloping Algebra, Ideals, and Automorphisms
Текст статьи не публикуется в открытом доступе в соответствии с политикой журнала.The enveloping algebra of the niltriangular subalgebra NΦ(K) of the Chevalley algebra of type An−1 is the algebra of niltriangular n × n matrices over K. The enveloping algebras R of other types constructed so far are nonassociative. For classical types, an explicit description of automorphisms of the rings R over any commutative associative ring with an identity is given; in the case where K is a field, all ideals in R are also listed. The enumeration of ideals in R for K = GF(q) leads to a solution of a combinatorial problem concerning ideals of the algebras NΦ(K)
The Enumeration of own -Dimensional Subspaces of a Space over the Field
In the Chevalley algebra over a field K associated with any system of roots,
it is allocated the niltriangular subalgebra NΦ(K) with the basis
. In 2001 G.P. Egorychev and V.M. Levchuk had been put two problems of a enumeration of ideals: special ideals in the algebras of classical types (the problem 1)
and all ideals (the problem 2). At their decision there is the problem of a finding of
the number , all own t-dimensional subspaces of space
over the field GF(q). Recently V.P. Krivokolesko and V.M.
Levchuk have found an obvious expression
for the number through a multiple sum from -combinatorial numbers.
Here by means of the
method of coefficients of the calculation of combinatorial sums developed by the author in the late eighties, the integral representation for numbers is found. As consequence two
simple computing formulas for these numbers were received
Isomorphisms of certain locally nilpotent finitary groups and associated rings
For any chain Gamma the ring NT(Gamma, K) of all finitary Gamma-matrices parallel toa(ij)parallel to(i,is an element ofGamma) over an associative ring K with zeros on and above the main diagonal is locally nilpotent and hence radical. If R' = NT(Gamma', K'), R = NT(Gamma, K) and either \Gamma\ < infinity or K is a ring with no zero-divisors, then isomorphisms between rings R and R', their adjoint groups and associated Lie rings are described
Shevchenko’s "Testament" in the Context of the Ggenre
Ideological and semantic motif is an active factor in genre matrix of testament. A large number of poems canonized genre of verse-testament in world lyrics. There are apocryphal, elegiac and satirical examples of this genre. R. Herrick, John Donne, D. Huramishvyly, J. Laper, M. Lermontov, J. Slovatskyy, H. Botev, V. Nezval, F. Garcia Lorca, P. Pasolini, N. Gumilev, N. Zabolotskii and other authors wrote poems in this genre. Image of a subject expression of will, which expresses the value orientations of the author has determining value in the structural and semantic integrity of the poetic testament. This genre established in ukrainian literature with T. Shevchenko’s poems, that combines personal and national principle in highly poetic form. The idea of spiritual testament were continued in the work of many Ukrainian writers of the 19th and 20th centuries. In this nmber – I. Franko, Lesia Ukrainka, V. Symonenko etc
The Biographizme as a Factor of the Genre Creation (In the Material of the Lesia Ukrainka’s Works)
The article aims to explore the biographical facts as the factors of influence on the work of Lesia Ukrainka. In particular, children experience as a source of psychological complexes (relationship with mother) is regarded as one of the preconditions for the formation of dramatic thinking. Subsequently way to overcome these complexes has reached its logical conclusion by writing “The Obsessed”, thus forming a “perfect” cognitive genre model, the center of which is a drama. That is the way to forming the most organic form of genre has become central in the article. In particular, using theory of research verse, biographical and psychoanalytic methods, the author analyzed the cycles “The Journey to the Sea” (1888), “The Crimean Memories” (1890–1891) and “The Crimean Reviews” (1897–1898), and also “The Obsessed” (1901). The main attention in the research is concentrated in the analyses of work “The Winter Night in a the Foreign Country”, in which the author by the … person (Muse) mediation and the lyrical I is decide the existence problem. As a result the scientific work is ascertain, that lyrical person (what has named herself Lesia Ukrainka) can’t describe her feelings in this mode. In this way thinking a dramatist, what confirm a fact of the first place of dramatization as the mood predominance and as the special feature of thinking. Consequently, the period of Lesia Ukrainka’s creation to writing “The Obsessed” is the process subconscious searching and forming the dramatic genre, which in difference modes stay predominant during the next twelve years of literary work
Ecological Competencies Development in the Course of "History of Foreign Literature": Methodological Outline
The article elucidates the development of environmental issues in foreign literature, taking into account the content of the relevant disciplines in higher and secondary education institutions. The study substantiates the concepts of eco-criticism and eco-literature, in particular, such varieties of the latter as ecofiction, ecopoetry, non-fiction nature writing as well as natural-philosophical and ecosophical literature. The author offers an innovative approach to the typology of ecotexts and considers them in terms of the conception of the American ecologist B. Commoner: Everything is connected to everything else; Everything must go somewhere; Nature knows best; There is no such thing as a free lunch. Any law can be confirmed by a particular trend in the literary process and general cultural development and illustrated with relevant works from world literature. One can find verification of all four of the above-mentioned B. Commoner's laws in Lucretius' poem "On the Nature of Things."
To understand the relationship between a human and nature through the prism of literature, it is essential to correlate the concept of the universe with realistic and romantic types of artistic worldview. The rational type of thinking is characterized by spreading mechanical laws to the world of living nature, while intuitive thinking, on the contrary, implies the application of the laws of life to an inanimate world and, as a consequence, its spiritualization.
B. Commoner's theory is illustrated by the works of foreign authors, in particular, those included in the school curriculum. Among them are J. W. Goethe, A. Saint-Exupery, W. Whitman, H. Melville, R. Kipling, A. Huxley, E. Hemingway, R. Bradbury, Mo Yan and others. In the focus of the case study are the trends in the landscape poetry development and animalistic themes in world literature.
The article determines the stages of ecological competencies development, concentrating on emotional-motivational, information and cognitive, operational and activity-based, personality-oriented, and practice-oriented ones. The application of B. Commoner's laws of ecology in teaching foreign literature opens a new methodological perspective for literary and pedagogical research, in particular, supports an integrative approach to teaching academic disciplines. The suggested approach is appropriate for the formation of environmental competencies of the students in the course of History of Foreign Literature with the further use of the acquired skills and knowledge in their school practice
