The article shows that Guardini had an indirect influence on the conceptualization by Pope Francis of the problem of ecological education and spirituality.EMERY A. Breve acercamiento metafísico al pensamiento de Romano Guardini
No full textSummary: In this short text we try to show that Romano Guardini is an author to be included in the Western metaphysical tradition. The principal authors in Guardini’s thought are neither Thomas Aquinas nor Aristotle, but Augustine and Plato, themselves also great metaphysicians. In this perspective, we take two elements of Guardini's work: polar opposition and freedom, to bring out the possibly metaphysical character of his thought.

Sommario: In questo breve testo proviamo a dimostrare che Romano Guardini è un autore da includere nella tradizione metafisica occidentale. Non sono né Tomasso D’Aquino né Aristotele gli autori principali nel pensiero di Guardini, bensì Agostino e Platone, anche loro grandi metafisici. Nella sua scia prendiamo due elementi dell’opera di Guardini: la opposizione polare e la libertà, per far vedere il possibile carattere metafisico del suo pensiero.
