Kinetic model of SiGe selective epitaxial growth using RPCVD technique
Recently, selective epitaxial growth (SEG) of B-doped SiGe layershas been used in recessed source/drain (S/D) of pMOSFETs. Theuniaxial induced strain enhances the carrier mobility in the channel. In this work, a detailed model for SEG of SiGe has been developed topredict the growth rate and Ge content of layers indichlorosilane(DCS)-based epitaxy using a reduced-pressure CVDreactor. The model considers each gas precursor contributions fromthe gas-phase and the surface. The gas flow and temperature distribution were simulated in the CVDreactor and the results were exerted as input parameters for Maxwellenergy distribution. The diffusion of molecules from the gasboundaries was calculated by Fick’s law and Langmuir isothermtheory (in non-equilibrium case) was applied to analyze the surface. The pattern dependency of the selective growth was also modeledthrough an interaction theory between different subdivisions of thechips. Overall, a good agreement between the kinetic model and theexperimental data were obtained.Original Publication:M. Kolahdouz, L. Maresca, R. Ghandi, Ali Khatibi and H. Background : The number of cases of infant and maternal mortality in Central Java as of June 30, 2017 is still high, namely 2,182 infant deaths and 215 maternal deaths. One of the strategies of the Central Java Provincial Government to overcome this is by implementing the One Student One Client (OSOC) program which is a model of midwifery care health services by involving one student to accompany one client from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, neonates, and family planning. (KB). Objective: To assess and apply continuous midwifery care to Ny. R Age 29 G1P0A0 at UPT Puskesmas Bayan according to the standard of midwifery services for pregnant women, maternity, postpartum, and newborns with reference to KEPMENKES No. 938/MENKES/SK/VII/2007 concerning Standards of Midwifery Care. Method: SOAP analysis (subjective data, objective, assessment, planning). Result : Mrs. R, age 29, normal pregnancy, normal and spontaneous delivery, no complications for mother and baby, midwifery care for newborns and postpartum mothers went well without complications, neonate was normal, and family planning midwifery care (KB) was administered. 3 months. Conclusion: Continuous Midwifery Care for Mrs. R aged 29 years at the UPT Puskesmas Bayan has been carried out according to the standard of midwifery services for pregnant women, maternity, postpartum, newborn, and family planning with reference to KEPMENKES No. 938/MENKES/SK/VII/2007 concerning Standards of Midwifery Care.

Ohmic contact properties of magnetron sputtered Ti3SiC2 on n- and p-type 4H-silicon carbide
Epitaxial Ti3SiC2 (0001) thin film contacts were grown on doped 4H-SiC (0001) using magnetron sputtering in an ultra high vacuum system. The specific contact resistance was investigated using linear transmission line measurements. Rapid thermal annealing at 950 degrees C for 1 min of as-deposited films yielded ohmic contacts to n-type SiC with contact resistances in the order of 10(-4) Omega cm(2). Transmission electron microscopy shows that the interface between Ti3SiC2 and n-type SiC is atomically sharp with evidence of interfacial ordering after annealing.Original Publication: Kristina Buchholt, R Ghandi, M Domeij, C-M Zetterling, Jun Lu, Per Eklund, Lars Hultman and Anita Lloyd Spetz, Ohmic contact properties of magnetron sputtered Ti3SiC2 on n- and p-type 4H-silicon carbide, 2011, APPLIED PHYSICS LETTERS, (98), 4, 042108. http://dx.doi.org/10.1063/1.3549198 Copyright: American Institute of Physics http://www.aip.org/</p

Proton, muon and 13C hyperfine coupling constants of C60X and C70X (X = H, Mu)
The reaction of H atoms with fullerene C70 has been investigated by identifying the radical products formed by addition of the atom muonium (Mu) to the fullerene in solution. Four of the five possible radical isomers of C70Mu were detected by avoided level-crossing resonance (μLCR) spectroscopy, using a dilute solution of enriched 13C70 in decalin. DFT calculations were used to predict muon and 13C isotropic hyperfine constants as an aid to assigning the observed μLCR signals. Computational methods were benchmarked against previously published experimental data for 13C60Mu in solution. Analysis of the μLCR spectrum resulted in the first experimental determination of 13C hyperfine constants in either C70Mu or C70H. The large number of values confirms predictions that the four radical isomers have extended distributions of unpaired electron spin.Peer reviewedFinal article publishe
Synthesis of novel tricyclic and tetracyclic sultone scaffolds via intramolecular 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions.
The initially prepared 2-formylphenyl-(E)-2-phenylethenesulfonates from the condensation of (E)-2-phenylethenesulfonyl chloride with 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde derivatives underwent intramolecular [3+2] cycloaddition with methyl or phenylhydroxylamine, sarcosine, and l-proline, affording the corresponding novel isoxazolidine, pyrrolidine and pyrrolizidine-annulated γ,δ-benzo-δ-sultones, respectively, in good yields. Unambiguous assignment of the molecular structures was carried out by single-crystal X-ray diffraction
Muonium kinetics in sub- and supercritical water
Peer reviewedMuonium is long-lived in pure water and has been studied over a very wide range of temperatures and pressures, from 5°C to over 400°C and from 1 to 400bar. We have determined rate constants for representative reactions of muonium in aqueous solution; equivalent data on H atom kinetics is sparse and stops well short of the maximum temperature and pressure attained in our experiments. The results show remarkable deviations from the predictions of standard reaction theories. In particular, rate constants pass through a maximum with temperature well below the critical point. This seems to be a general phenomenon, since we have observed it for spin-exchange and chemical reactions that are diffusion limited at low temperatures, as well as for activated reactions. We believe that a key factor in the drop of rate constants at high temperature is the cage effect, in particular the number of collisions between a pair of reactants over the duration of their encounter. Whatever the reason, the implications are profound for both the efficiency of supercritical water oxidation reactors and for the modelling of radiation chemistry in pressurized water nuclear reactors.Final article publishedMuoniumSupercritical waterChemical kineticsRadiation chemistr
