    Sebuah perusahaan yang sedang mengalami perkembangan usaha diharapkan akan mampu meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, karena tingkat kinerja karyawan perusahaan itu sendiri yang akan menentukan tingkat keberhasilan suatu perusahaan. Kontribusi terbesar dalam usaha meningkatkan kinerja karyawan perusahaan adalah dengan cara mendisiplinkan seluruh karyawan yang ada di perusahaan untuk selalu menjalankan semua tugas yang di perintahkan dengan sebaik-baiknya. Oleh karena itu upaya peningkatan disiplin kerja karyawan harus dilakukan dengan semaksimal mungkin. Perumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Faktor manakah yang menyebabkan merosotnya disiplin kerja karyawan, serta Bagaimana strategi dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja karyawan SPBU Kartika Dewi Widiastuti (14.203.1158). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor apa yang menyebabkan merosotnya disiplin kerja karyawan dan menentukan strategi dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja karyawan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori disiplin kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SPBU Kartika Dewi Widiastuti (14.203.1158) Helvetia-Deli Serdang dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 40 karyawan. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang dimana pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan diskusi kelompok terarah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat faktor penyebab utama yang menyebabkan merosotnya disiplin kerja karyawan SPBU Kartika Dewi Widiastuti, yaitu faktor penyebab utama tata tertib, kompensasi, kepemimpinan dan pengawasan. Faktor penyebab utama tata tertib dan faktor penyebab utama kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan disiplin kerja karyawan SPBU Kartika Dewi Widiasti (14.203.1158).     This study aims to determine the factors that influence consumer loyalty to the brand coca - cola at Soup Brothers Restaurant Medan . Where consumer loyalty is a manifestation and continuation of customer satisfaction in using the facilities and services provided by the company . Loyalty is bbukti consumers who always want to be the consumer , who has the strength and positive attitude over the company . While the brand is a name , term , symbol , or design , or a combination of these things are intended to identify the goods or services of one person or group of sellers to distinguish it from competitors . The method used in this study is associative research with quantitative approach , the research seeks to examine how a variable has associated with other variables . The data used in this study is primary data and secondary data , where the primary data used observation , questionnaires , interviews , and secondary data using library research and study documentation . The population numbered 348 people , which would be a sample of 78 respondents using simple random sampling technique . The variables used in this study , namely Consumer Loyalty ( X ) , and Brand ( Y ) . The indicators of each of the variables: 1. Consumer loyalty , the indicator namely product quality , service quality , Emotional , and price . Meanwhile , 2 . Brand , its indicators are: Fidelity Focus Consumer , Investment Opportunities , and strategic thing for the owner . The results of questionnaires to 78 respondents for the indicator X - 1 ( product quality ) has the highest percentage yield of 47.4 % on the question of " Coca - Cola has a long lasting product of its production period " while its lowest percentage of 0% . In X - 2 indicators ( quality of service ) has the highest percentage of 52.6 % on the question " Coca - Cola is a beverage that is able to keep up the expectations that consumers want " and the lowest percentage of 0 % . For the indicator X - 3 ( emotional ) the highest percentage of 28.2 % and the lowest of 8.9 % on the question "Do you feel very confident Saudarasudah Soup Restaurant that coca- cola is a drink product that is often in the message consumers " . In the indicator X - 4 ( price ) the highest percentage of 51.3 % on the " Coca - Cola always put sealing products to ensure authenticity doubts loyal consumers on the product coca - cola " and the lowest percentage of 0 % . In Y - 1 indicator ( focus customer loyalty ) has the highest percentage of 39.74 % on the " coca-cola brands have a health department permit to attract customer loyalty" And the lowest percentage of 3.84 % . For Y - 2 indicators ( investment opportunities ) the highest percentage of 41.02 % on the " coca- cola brands were able to seize investment opportunities beverage products " and the lowest percentage is worth 5.12 % . At Y - 3 indicators ( strategic case for brand owners ) the highest percentage of 43.58 % on the " Coca - Cola is the brand of a company that is able to communicate directly with consumers " and the lowest percentage of 10.25 % valued . The results of this study indicate that the relationship of consumer loyalty to the brand is the direction in which it appears that tilapia r with probability Sig . 2 - tailed 0.004 < 0.005 thus Ho is rejected . As for the simple linear regression equation regression model can be found her ie, Y = 17.319 + 0.016 X. On hypothesis testing in a partial test of significance shows that the t-test < 0.05 significance level conclusion is rejected Ho , Analysis of Factors Affecting Consumers Against Brand Loyalty is significant . The samples in this study are as many as 40 people with the census method in which the entire population sampled dikarenan population under 100 people. This study uses descriptive research method through qualitative approach Data collected through primary data that includes interviews, FGD (Focus Group Discussion), and questionnaires and collect secondary data. Then analyzed by using method of Fishbone Chart which is used to observe from the cause of the decline of work discipline of employees of Kartika Dewi Widiastuti gas station l4.203.1158).The results of research conducted by applying the primery data collection shows that there are four factors that cause the decline in the discipline of employees employment of gas station Kartika Dewi Widiastuti, as for factors that cause Leadership, Supervision, Standing Orders and Compensation where from the four factors that cause the decline of discipline employees there are two the most dominant foactor makes the employee undisciplined, namely the compensation factor where the compensation received by employees is still small even under the minimum wage (Regional Minimum Wage) and the rule factor where the rules are still very minimal to obey employees.     The representation of moral values through characters in Wonder novel

    The good literary work is there are good things can be taken and applied in daily life by the people. Also, an author can communicate with the readers of a literary work if they can understand what the author wants to send. Usually in the end of read the novel, we can find the message or moral value that delivered by author for us as the readers. In this study, the researcher took the topic of moral values in a novel. Moral value is often interested by an author in their work as an attempt to express his views in the true values of human life. This study dealt with a novel entitled Wonder written by R. J. Palacio. The background of this research appears based on her experience in the real life. Therefore, the objectives of the study were: (1) to find out the kinds of moral value through characters in the novel (2) to find out the effect of moral values of main character to the other characters in the novel. To find out the solution, the researcher used theory of literature and moral understanding by Frank Palmer. In addition, this research used the qualitative method and moral value criticism and pragmatic approach. The results as follow; Firstly, the researcher found kinds of moral values through characters, there are two categories, they are relationship between human beings and own self such as self-esteem, honesty and admitting fault and relationship between human beings and others such as love and affection, kindness, sympathy, empathy, respect, helpful, courage, friendliness, delightfulness, honesty, motivation, intimidation and arrogance. Secondly, the effect of moral values of the main character to the other characters such as self-reliance, helpful, respect, sincerity and kindness. So, the conclusion what researcher get is about doing good to anyone, the aspects of kindness that are exemplified by the charcaters of the Wonder novel in the analysis can be a reference in real life for us as the readers

    Trends and Issues of Ethnoscience Research from 2008 to 2023: A Bibliometric Analysis

    This paper aims to analyze research trends on ethnoscience using bibliometric analysis from 2008-2023. The research sample consisted of 153 documents obtained from the Scopus database. The results of the study show that the distribution of publication frequency reaches its peak in 2021 with 32 articles identified. The distribution of research themes consists of 4 primary clusters and 35 secondary clusters. The ethnoscience research area is dominated by social science research (30.2%). The country with the best documents shows that Indonesia is ranked first as the most productive country in publishing on ethnoscience with 74 identified documents. The United States released second place with 28 documents, third Brazil with 10 documents, fourth Canada with 9 documents, and fifth France, Germany, Italy and the Russian Federation with 5 documents each. Institutions that contributed the most came from Indonesia, Universitas Negeri Semarang 22 papers 33.66%, University of Alberta 9 papers 13.77%, Universitas Negeri Surabaya 7 papers 10.71, Universitas Negeri Padang 7 papers 7.65%. The best author with the highest number of citations is Dahdouh. Meanwhile, if we look at the number of documents published by the author, Sudarmin has 10 documents with a contribution of 15.3%.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp

    Prolonged labor or undeveloped labor is one of the complications in childbirth. Where prolonged labor is labor that lasts more than 24 hours in primi and more than 18 hours in multi. The purpose of this research is for the Influence of Pelvic Rocking Exercise and Slow Deep Breathing Relaxation on the Progress of the First Stage of Labor among mothers giving birth in Indonesia in 2024. Research methods This is a pre experimental quantitative research with a group compilation statistical design. The data analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis using the Mann Whitney hypothesis test, which is a non-parametric test that measures differences equivalent to the independent T test in parametric measurements. The p-value result was 0.000. This shows that there is a significant influence of pelvic rocking exercise and slow deep breathing relaxation on the progress of the first stage of labor in 2024. This pelvic rocking exercise and slow deep breathing relaxation intervention can be applied by the birthing mother so that the mother can give birth safely, comfortably and in a quicker time than without intervention

    Citation Analysis of Books and Articles Usages of Thesis Writing in Communication Science Major of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatra Utara in 2019-2023

    This research analyses citation patterns, literature characteristics, and authorship patterns in books and articles citations in thesis writing of communication science at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatra Utara in 2019-2023. A descriptive method was conducted to collect and analyse data from 52 theses as the research population. The results showed that thesis citation patterns from 2019-2023 exhibited significant variations in book and article usage, especially book citations dominating each year. Specifically, Indonesian-language literature was predominantly cited. The authorship pattern revealed that 65% of citations came from the single author with an average of 17 citations per thesis. This study also identified the most frequently cited authors: Sugiyono, for his book on quantitative, qualitative, and R&D research methods, and Onong Uchjana Effendy, for his book title "Communication Science Theory and Practice." In the communication journal category, Rahmanita Ginting was frequently cited. The results also indicated that the Communication Science thesis still lacked citations from journal articles, especially reputable ones.83 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is often referred to as diabetes is a condition in which the body cannot produce insulin as needed or the body cannot use the insulin produces optimally so that there is a spike in blood sugar levels beyond normal. Diabetes mellitus can be controlled by pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy. One of the management of diabetes mellitus with non-pharmakological is walking exercise therapy. The peper aims to determain the application of walking exercise with unstable blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus. This writing method uses case studes. The author does exercise theraphy walkig once a day for three days in a row. Walking exercise therapy is done for 30 minutes. The result obtain after therapy were a decrease in blood sugar levels from 240mmol/L to 180mmol/L. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of giving walking exercise therapy on the instability of blood sugar levels
