No full textThis paper outlines the concept and content of the Contextual Database of the international Generations and Gender Program and gives an overview of the context of demographic behavior in Bulgaria. The Contextual Database provides an instrument that together with the Generations and Gender Survey allows studying how differences in context shape demographic processes. The database offers the opportunity to analyze in a comparative way the interaction between the micro and macro dimension. Bulgaria is among the first countries fielding the Generations and Gender Survey and that is engaged in contextual data collection within this comparative framework. While both micro- and contextual data for Bulgaria will become available in the course of the year 2005, we present in this paper a text contribution that provides an overview of the Bulgarian context and introduces the list of variables that make up the database.Bulgaria, data collection

No full textOnce the work of Pau Puig has been published in Catalan, I feel convenient
to make available a short sample of his work in Spanish to both readers and scholars.
Pau Puig used to write both in Catalan and in Spanish, like other Catalan authors from the
same period.
We are now publishing four poems clearly showing his style and his favourite subjects.
Some brief notes on his biography are also included, along with the enumeration of his
works.Una vez publicada la obra en catalán de Pau Puig (2012), me parece conveniente
poner a disposición de los lectores y estudiosos una pequeña muestra de la obra
en castellano de este autor que, como muchos otros literatos catalanes de su época, escribía
tanto en catalán como en castellano.

Finalment revise alguns dels reptes i de les esperances dels drets humans per a la relació entre la pau local i la pau global.This is a three-stage reflection on Human Rights and Peace. Firstly there is an historical and conceptual deconstruction-reconstruction of the 1948 Declaration. The author then goes on to look at this first deconstruction in the framework of philosophical questions from some Western thinkers. Finally, he revises some of the challenges and hopes of Human Rights with respect to the reationship between local and global peace

First it intends to give an overview of the contextual database of the Generations and Gender Program and how it is linked to the Generations and Gender Survey. Secondly, it provides a documentation of the approaches taken towards the conceptual definition and construction of the database. The document consists of two parts. The first gives a brief description of the underlying ideas of the database and the approach taken in order to develop its conceptual framework and construct the database. The second part is a note on the link between the Generations and Gender Survey and the contextual database. Starting from the GGS questionnaire, the main interfaces between micro data and contextual domains are investigated.data collection

Summary
Genomewide position-specific scores, such as those estimating conservation, constraint, fitness or mutation tolerance, are ubiquitous in current genome analyses. The diversity of sources and formats of these scores, as well as their size, increase the burden to use them. We present GenomicScores, a Bioconductor package that provides efficient storage and seamless access of genomewide position-specific scores from R, facilitating their use in genome analysis workflows.

GenomicScores is implemented in R and available at https://bioconductor.org/packages/GenomicScores under the open source ‘Artistic-2.0’ license.
