Cartas de Mallarmé: leitura, crítica e tradução

Programa de Pós-Graduação em LiteraturaEsta tese parte da leitura das cartas de Stéphane Mallarmé - com especial atenção ao que se poderia chamar de período de formação do poeta - com o objetivo de averiguar os elementos que esse conjunto pode revelar para, de um lado, fundamentar o que hoje reconhecemos como um contexto de "modernidade" da produção literária e, de outro, investigar as abordagens empregadas pela crítica literária posterior ao buscar, a partir dessas cartas, entender o autor e os dados que compunham toda uma nova linguagem poética. Figura essencial para o nascimento da poesia moderna, Mallarmé teve uma recepção por vezes algo tortuosa, que em grande medida só pôde se estabelecer mais inquestionavelmente a partir da publicação de suas cartas e do acesso que elas permitiram a todo um discurso do autor sobre seus ideais e sua produção poética. Como não há em português uma seleção extensa dessas cartas, o trabalho apresenta, também, uma discussão da recepção de Mallarmé no século XX brasileiro e uma significativa amostra traduzida das cartas daquele período fundamentalThis thesis proposes a reading of the letters of Stéphane Mallarmé - with special attention being given to what one could call his formative years - in the search for those elements that can be taken from these texts to ground, on the one hand, what we now recognize as a "modernity" context in our literary production, and, on the other, to examine the approaches chosen by the literary critics who, in reading these letters, have tried to understand the author and the data that amounted to a whole new poetic language. A founding figure in the beginnings of modern poetry, Mallarmé has had something of an erratic reception, a reception which could only be fully stabilized through the publication of his letters and the access they gave to a whole discourse, by the author himself, dealing with his ideals and his poetical production. Since there is no large selection of the letters available in Portuguese, the thesis also offers a discussion about the reception given to Mallarmé during the XXth century in Brazil and the translation of a significant sample of the letters written during those fundamental year
Traduction réciproque : Stéphane Bouquet & Andrea Inglese
No full textLe poète italien Andrea Inglese et le poète français Stéphane Bouquet se rencontrent autour d’un exercice de traduction réciproque. Ils sont tous les deux, d’ailleurs, aussi des traducteurs (Inglese traduit surtout du français et Bouquet surtout de l’anglais), et ils ont déjà eu l’occasion, dans le passé, de se traduire réciproquement. Ici Inglese traduit deux textes de Bouquet parus dans un livre de 2013, Les amours suivants, et Bouquet traduit deux textes d’une série de six, encore inédite et intitulée Mi rimangono poche cose da dire. Pour l’un et l’autre, les notes de traductions sont aussi une occasion pour dire quelque chose sur la poétique de l’auteur traduit. The Italian poet Andrea Inglese and the French poet Stéphane Bouquet meet in the context of a reciprocal translation exercise. They are both, by the way, also translators (Inglese translates mostly from French and Bouquet mostly from English), and they’ve had the opportunity, in the past, to translate each other. Here Inglese translates two texts by Bouquet published in a 2013 book, Les amours suivants, and Bouquet translates two texts from a series of six, still unpublished and entitled Mi rimangono poche cose da dire. For both, the translation notes are also an opportunity to say something about the poetics of the translated author.

Identifying author-inventors from Spain: methods and a first insight into results
No full textThe aim of this paper is to describe a matching and disambiguation methodology for the identification of author-inventors located in the same country. It aims to maximize precision and recall rates by taking into account national name writing customs in the name matching stage and by including a recursive validation step in the person disambiguation stage. An application to the identification of Spanish author-inventors is described in detail, where all SCOPUS 2003-2008 publications of Spanish authors are matched to all 1978-2009 EPO applications with Spanish inventors. Using this data, we identify 4,194 Spanish author-inventors. A first look at their patenting and publication patterns reveal that Spanish author-inventors make quite a significant contribution to the overall country’s scientific and technological production in the time periods considered: 27% of all EPO patent applications invented in Spain and 15% of all SCOPUS scientific articles authored in Spain, with important differences across fields and excluding journals in non-technologically relevant fields.Peer reviewe

Maladie d'Alzheimer et environnements virtuels évocateurs évaluation de la mémoire autobiographique et des apports thérapeutiques d'une nouvelle forme de thérapie de revue de vie
No full textL'objectif général de cette thèse était d'étudier la faisabilité de la mise en place d'une nouvelle intervention destinée à la prise en soin psychoaffective et cognitive de personnes atteintes de Maladie d'Azheimer (MA) à un stade débutant à modéré. Cette praxis novatrice appelée Environnement Virtuel Évocateur (EVÉ) se basait sur l'actualisation de la thérapie de revue de vie par le recours aux techniques informatiques de réalité virtuelle. Afin d'en évaluer les effets thérapeutiques potentiels, 3 variables principales étaient à l'étude, soit la mémoire autobiographique, l'humeur et le concept de soi. D'autres variables comme la cognition globale, la dépression et l'intensité des troubles psychocomportementaux ont aussi été prises en compte. Les résultats des 5 participants sélectionnés concernant les variables principales sont que l'administration régulière de l'EVÉ entraîne une amélioration sensible de la récupération des informations autobiographiques (pour 3 participants seulement), de l'humeur et des remaniements spécifiques dans la façon de se percevoir en tant que personne. Toutefois, du fait de problèmes méthodologiques et de variations interindividuelles, il n'a pas toujours été possible, d'établir des différences statistiquement significatives pour ces 3 variables. L'EVÉ démontre une influence positive sur les variables secondaires, notamment sur la cognition globale. En résumé, il fut possible de mettre en place et d'administrer une intervention utilisant les nouvelles technologies auprès de la population atteinte de MA. Malgré la démonstration de l'efficacité clinique de l'EVÉ, de futures études prenant en compte l'hétérogénéité des troubles cognitifs et affectifs ainsi que l'anosognosie devront être menées afin de raffiner les modalités d'intervention
