This board-book version of LM turns out to be quite creative. Ratoncete comes from school every afternoon and goes through the forest looking for adventures. He apparently blasts a horn into the ear of the sleeping lion. Don Leon wants to spank him as a result, but Ratoncete offers an apology, not an offer of help. Later, he happens upon the lion in his trap of ropes. 8 pages, counting both covers. 6½" x 9".Language note: SpanishNo Autho
Modeling Topic and Role Information in Meetings using the Hierarchical Dirichlet Process
In this paper, we address the modeling of topic and role information in multiparty meetings, via a nonparametric Bayesian model called the hierarchical Dirichlet process. This model provides a powerful solution to topic modeling and a flexible framework for the incorporation of other cues such as speaker role information. We present our modeling framework for topic and role on the AMI Meeting Corpus, and illustrate the effectiveness of the approach in the context of adapting a baseline language model in a large-vocabulary automatic speech recognition system for multiparty meetings. The adapted LM produces significant improvements in terms of both perplexity and word error rate
Markets Equilibrium: The Is-Lm Model
. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the concept of markets equilibrium: the IS-LM Model. This research uses library research method by using reference sources from books and journals according to the theme. The author uses a qualitative method which is explained graphically, namely the market balance of the IS-LM model where the focus is on money and goods markets associated with macroeconomics where researchers take the side of investors. The results of this study are that the balance in the economy is the point where the IS and LM curves intersect. This point provides an interest rate (r) and income level (Y) that satisfies the equilibrium conditions that occur in the goods market and money market. In other words, planned spending equals actual spending, and the demand for real money balances equals the supply. So that the IS-LM balance, it is stated that IS=LM
<Articles>A Dynamical IS-LM Model
[Abstract]In this paper, The author tries to build a Dynamical IS-LM Model. The lnvestment depends on two factors, one is the rate of interest, and the other is the rate of prosperity yield of the investment. I will focus on the second factor. As was shown by Kaldor, the rate of prosperity yield has nonlinear fluctuations. By means of this character, This study proposes an IS-LM model that generates a cycle.departmental bulletin pape
Cell death and signal transduction pathways in Alzheimer's disease : the role of presenilin 1
Mutated presenilins (PSs) may cause familial Alzheimer's disease (FAD) by altering neuronal signal transduction pathways, by increasing AP production or by triggering a number of proapoptotic mechanisms. The present thesis explores mechanisms by which PSs regulate signal transduction and cell death with relevance to AD.Paper I explored the complex proteolytic processing of wild-type (WT) and FAD presenilin 1 (PS1) exon 9 deleted mutant (deltaE9 PS1) during apoptosis. PS1 was actively processed by both caspases and the proteasome during apoptosis in SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells non-transfected (NT) or transfected with WT PS1. Proteasome inhibitors blocked the degradation of full-length WT PS1 and caspase cleaved PS1 fragments. In contrast, the Nterminal and C-terminal fragments generated by PS1 endoproteolysis and the truncated fullength deltaE9 PS1 were not degraded by the proteasome during apoptosis.Paper II aimed to investigate whether PS1 cleavage by caspases is an early or a late event in the activation of apoptotic cascades. Overexpression of deltaE9 PS1 sensitized SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells to death induced by calcium ionophore A23187. We found that PS1 alternative cleavage is an early apoptotic event in deltaE9 PS1 transfected cells, simultaneous with minimal caspase-3 activation and preceding cleavage of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) and gelsolin. PS1 deltaE9 perturbed Ca2+ homeostasis and buffering in SH-SY5Y cells, this being at least one of the mechanisms by which mutated PS1 sensitized cells to apoptosis. We concluded that alternative cleavage of PS1 is an early apoptotic event; therefore it may play a role for the regulation of the proteolytic cascades during apoptosis.Papers III and IV aimed to characterize the role of PS1 in cholinergic muscarinic receptor signal transduction pathways. We studied the effect of three FAD PS1 mutants (deltaE9, M146V and L250S) and two dominant negative PS1 mutants (D257A and D385N) on basal and carbachol-stimulated phosphoinositide (PI) hydrolysis and intracellular calcium concentrations ([Ca2+]i) in SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells. We found a significant increase in basal PI hydrolysis in PS1 deltaE9 and PS1 M146V, but not in PS1 L250S, cells. All PS1 deltaE9, PS1 M146V and PS1 L250S cells showed a significant increase in carbachol-induced [Ca2+]i as compared to non-transfected or wild-type PS1 transfected cells. The elevated carbachol-induced [Ca2+]i signals were reversed by PLC inhibition and by ryanodine receptor blockade in all mutant PS1 cell lines. In PS1 M146V and PS1 L250S cells, pharmacological gamma-secretase inhibition was also able to reverse the elevated carbachol-induced [Ca2+]i signals. Cells expressing dominant negative PS1 had attenuated carbachol-stimulated PI hydrolysis and [Ca2+]i responses. In NT or WT PS1 cells pharmacological inhibition of gamma-secretase attenuated carbachol-stimulated PI hydrolysis and [Ca2+]i responses to levels found in PS1 dominant negative cells. The findings of these reports suggest that PS1 can regulate PLC activity and that this function is gamma-secretase activity dependent. In conclusion, these studies provide evidence that PS1 regulates both cholinergic signal transduction pathways and apoptotic cell death and that PS1 mutations are responsible for both sensitizing neurons to death and altering neuronal signal transduction.List of scientific papersI. Possibilities and testing of CPRNG in block cipher mode of operation PM-DC-LM
This paper discusses the chaotic pseudo-random number generator (CPRNG), which is used in block cipher mode of operation called PM-DC-LM. PM-DC-LM is one of possible subversions of general PM mode. In this paper is not discussed the design of PM-DC-LM, but only CPRNG as a part of it because designing is written in other papers. Possibilities, how to change or to improve CPRNG are mentioned. The final part is devoted for a little testing of CPRNG and some testing data are shown. © 2016 Author(s)
CF/LM-PAEK: Characterisation and sensitivity to critical process parameters for automated fibre placement
This paper presents an investigation into Automated Fibre Placement process parameters for a novel carbon-fibre-reinforced thermoplastic material based on a low-melt polyaryl ether ketone polymer matrix (CF/LM-PAEK). The primary focus of this investigation is in-situ consolidation, with parameter sets for sample manufacturing selected based on a Design of Experiment method and analysed by means of mechanical and thermal testing. For in-situ consolidation, a maximum shear strength of 33.6 MPa and a crystallinity of 27.3% is achieved. Subsequent tempering increases shear strength up to 46.5 MPa and crystallinity up to 32%. The material was found to be insensitive to layup speed within the tested parameter range (1–15 m/min), achieving similar results for high layup speeds

Fahrul Kurniawan, Perancangan Adaptor Dengan Output 5V DC Menggunakan IC LM 7805, Komprehensif, Jakarta, Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta

ABSTRACT
Fahrul Kurniawan, Adapter Design with 5V DC Output Using IC LM 7805, Comprehensive, Jakarta, Electrical Engineering Technical Education, Technic Faculty, University State of Jakarta
Electrical power is energy that humans use in their daily lives. Electrical power is used to turn on or run electronic devices that make human activities easier. In order to use electrical power in electronic devices, it is necessary to convert the power from strong current to weak current. The concept of converting strong current to weak current is implemented in the form of an adapter. In the lesson, the adapter utilizes the concept of a diode as an electric current rectifier. In the Electronics Engineering Education study program, especially at Jakarta State University, the application of the concept of diodes as rectifiers is outlined in the manufacture of DC adapters by students. Using IC LM 7805, the author made a DC adapter with 5V output as an application of the diode concept as a rectifier. The results of the adapter design show that the adapter output measurement results are 5V. This is directly proportional to the nature of the LM 7805 IC which regulates the output voltage entering the IC to 5V.

Generalized LM tests for functional form and heteroscedasticity
We present a generalized LM test of heteroscedasticity allowing the presence of data transformation and a generalized LM test of functional form allowing the presence of heteroscedasticity. Both generalizations are meaningful as non-normality and heteroscedasticity are common in economic data. A joint test of functional form and heteroscedasticity is also given. These tests are further "studentized" to account for possible excess skewness and kurtosis of the errors in the model. All tests are easy to implement. They are based on the expected information and are shown to possess excellent finite sample properties. Several related tests are also discussed and their finite sample performances assessed. We found that our newly proposed tests significantly outperform the others, in particular in the cases where the errors are non-normal. Copyright 2008 The Author(s). Le Monde Magique des Contes et Légendes, Livre 1 (LM et al)
This very large-format pamphlet reproduces Wielka Skarbnica Bajek, Ksiazka 1 (also 1989?). PML Editions is added on both covers and on the title-page but is not mentioned in the title-page account of the publisher. There is something of a mystery in the fact that the booklet's title is exactly the same as another; perhaps someone forgot to insert a Volume I and a Volume II. The title-page in each describes a set of five books, and the sets are different. The publication information is given both on the title-page and on the page facing the blank inside back cover. The T of C on the title page, repeated on the back cover, indicates that there are six stories here, five of which are fables. LM, BC, OF, and GA get two pages, and BF gets three. As always, the Tormont illustrations are big and bold. ©Dami Editore, Italie.Language note: FrenchTexte original: Peter Holeinone. Adaptation: Martin Des Rocher
