Ekstraksi Model Gummel Poon Dengan Metode Pencocokan Kurva
Simulator rangkaian elektronika berbasis SPICE menerapkan model Gummel Poon banyak digunakan pelajar. Perancang harus memiliki parameter model dari devais elektronika sebelum melakukan analisis dengan bantuan komputer. Jika komponen yang digunakan diperoleh dari pasar, ada kemungkinan karakteristiknya tidak sesuai dengan lembar data dan / atau model dalam pustaka SPICE. Oleh karena itu perlu dikembangkan metode ekstrasi parameter model. Metode ekstaksi model Gummel Poon menerapkan analisis regresi telah diuji dan disimulasi. A query theory account of the attraction effect
We provide novel support for Query Theory, a reason-based decision framework, extending it to multialternative choices and applying it to the classic phenomenon known as the attraction effect. In Experiment 1 (N = 261), we generalised the two key metrics used in Query Theory from binary to multialternative choices and found that reasons supporting the target option were generated earlier and in greater quantity than those supporting the competitor, as predicted by the theory. In Experiment 2 (N = 703), we investigated the causal relationships between reasoning and choices by exogenously manipulating the order in which participants generated their reasons. As predicted, the size of the attraction effect was a function of this query order manipulation. We also introduced a bidirectional reason coding protocol to measure the valence of reasons, which confirmed support for Query Theory. We suggest the Query Theory framework can be useful for studying the high-level deliberation processes behind multialternative choices

ON UNFOLDING LATTICE POLYGONS/TREES AND DIAMETER-4 TREES
[[abstract]]We consider the problems of straightening polygonal trees and convexifying polygons by continuous motions such that rigid edges can rotate around vertex joints and no edge crossings are allowed. A tree can be straightened if all its edges can be aligned along a common straight line such that each edge points "away" from a designated leaf node. A polygon can be convexified if it can be reconfigured to a convex polygon. A lattice tree (resp. polygon) is a tree (resp. polygon) containing only edges from a square or cubic lattice. We first show that a 2D lattice chain or a 3D lattice tree can be straightened efficiently in O(n) moves and time, where n is the number of tree edges. We then show that a 2D lattice tree can be straightened efficiently in O(n(2)) moves and time. Furthermore, we prove that a 2D lattice polygon or a 3D lattice polygon with simple shadow can be convexified efficiently in O(n) moves and in O(n log n) time. A study of the acid lability and acute toxicity of dimethoxymethane in rats
The pH stability and acute oral toxicity of dimethoxymethane (DMM) in rats were studied, In in vitro studies, DMM was found to be stable in artificial gastric juice at pH 2.5 and above but readily hydrolyzed at pH2 and below, with 1 mole of DMM producing approximately 1 mole of formaldehyde and 2 moles of methanol. DMM incubated in sealed, excised stomachs appeared to equilibrate with the external incubation fluid over a 24-hour period without significant hydrolysis, In the toxicity study, three groups of female rats (n = 5) were administered, by gavage, phosphate-buffered saline (control), DMM (31 mmoles/kg body weight [bw]/day), or methanol (MeOH) (30 mmoles/kg bw/day), respectively, for 3 consecutive days and then sacrificed on day 5, Transient ataxia lasting about 30 minutes was observed in animals following DMM administration, increased urine volume was observed in the DMM group at the end of days 4 and 5, Markedly elevated level of formic acid was present in the urine of the MeOH group at days 1, 2, and 3, but not in the DMM group, Urinary ascorbic acid levels were increased In the DMM group on days 1, 2 and 3, and returned to baseline level at days 4 and 5, Microscopic examination detected no abnormal histological changes in the liver and kidneys of MeOH- or DMM-treated animals, No treatment effects were observed on the following endpoints: organ weights (liver, heart, thymus, kidneys), serum corticosterone, serum chemistry profile, hematology, hepatic phase 1 and phase 2 mixed-function oxidase activities, hepatic and serum thiobarbituric acid, hepatic glutathione, urinary protein, and urinary N-acetylglucosaminidase activity, These observations suggested that hydrolysis of DMM in the stomach required a gastric acidity below pH 2,5, At higher DW, intact DMM readily penetrated the stomach and therefore likely reached the circulation and other body tissues. On the structure of Pedersen-Poon twistor spaces
We study algebro-geometric properties of certain twistor spaces over with two dimensional torus actions, whose existence was proved by Pedersen and Poon. We show that they have a pencil whose general members are non-singular toric surface, and completely determine the structure of the reducible members of the pencil, which are also toric surfaces. In the course of our proof, we describe behaviors of the above pencil under equivariant smoothing. Relation between the weighted dual graphs of the toric surfaces in the pencil and similar invariant of the above torus action on is also determined
Structural basis of N-Myc binding by Aurora-A and its destabilization by kinase inhibitors
Myc family proteins promote cancer by inducing widespread changes in gene expression. Their rapid turn-over by the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway is regulated through phosphorylation of Myc Box I and ubiquitination by SCFFbxw7. However, N-Myc protein is stabilized in neuroblastoma by Aurora-A kinase in a manner that is sensitive to certain Aurora-A-selective inhibitors. Here we identify a direct interaction between the catalytic domain of Aurora-A and a site flanking Myc Box I that also binds SCFFbxw7. We determine the crystal structure of the complex between Aurora-A and this region of N-Myc to 1.72 Å resolution. The structure indicates that the conformation of Aurora-A induced by compounds such as alisertib and CD532 is not compatible with binding of N-Myc, explaining the activity of these compounds in neuroblastoma cells and providing a rational basis for the design of cancer therapeutics optimized for destabilization of the complex. We also propose a model for the stabilization mechanism in which binding to Aurora-A alters how N-Myc interacts with SCFFbxw7 to disfavor the generation of Lys48-linked poly-Ub chains
