Utjecaj postavki Ink-jet jedinice za lakiranje na realizaciju metalik efekata
U grafičkoj tehnologiji digitalni tisak svojom cijenom i efikasnošću pokušava sustići konvencionalne tiskarske tehnike. Inkjet tehnika danas je jedna od vodećih tehnika digitalnog tiska, ponajprije zbog kvalitete otisaka i brzine tiska. Otiscima ostvarenim u digitalnim tehnikama dodatnu vrijednost daju mogućnost personalizacije i različiti postupci dorađivanja. Jedan od cijenom dostupnih efekata je reprodukcija metalik tonova koja se primjenjuje za potrebe visoko kvalitetnih aplikacija. Moguća realizacija takvog specijalnog efekata temelji se na parcijalnom lakiranju pomoću Inkjet glava te naknadnog termalnog nanašanja metalik folije. Takvi postupci se danas mogu izvoditi na hibridnim strojevima koji prvo nanašaju UV sušeći lak da bi se nakon toga ostvarilo nanašanje (vezivanje) metalik folije. U ovom radu testirat će se efekt prihvaćanja laka i folije nanašanjem laka direktno na mat tiskarsku podlogu (karton za umjetnički tisak, gramature 300 g/m2). Korištena metalik folija bila je Murata Gold. Za potrebe eksperimenta korišten je tiskarski stroj MGI JET Varnish 3DS s ugrađenih 5 Konica Minolta Inkjet glava tipa KM1024iLHE-30 s dvije UV sušeće lampe. Njihovim djelovanjem ispitat će se kako različita količina nanesenog UV sušećeg laka utječe na adheziju metalik folije te kako produkcijska brzina tiskarskog stroja JET Varnish 3Ds utječe na istu. Tijekom eksperimenta softverski je mijenjan je nanos UV laka u modifikaciju 6 karakterističnih debljina (21 µm, 29 µm, 36 µm, 43 µm, 51 µm te 58 µm ) uz konstantnu temperaturu transfera folije od 105 OC. Dodatno je ispitan i utjecaj brzine kretanja tiskovne podloge (0,300 m/s; 0,240 m/s; 0,159 m/s) uz konstantni nanos UV laka. Ostvareni otisci analizirani su metodom slikovne analize u programu ImageJ. Programom OriginPro izračunate su ostvarene devijacije, te su kreirani karakteristični grafički prikazi. Cilj rada je analizirati kvalitetu otisaka nastalih nanašanjem metalnih transfer folija, odnosno odrediti kvalitetu vektorskih ilustracija, točkastih i linijskih elemenata. MGI JET Varnish 3DS najbolje reproducira sve elemente pri nanosu laka od 21 µm i brzini otiskivanja od 0,240 m/s. nema potrebe za većim nanosima laka jer neće dati bolji efekt. izuzetak su motivi sa velikom površinskom pokrivenošću.In graphic technology digital printing with its price and efficiency tries catch up with conventional printing techniques. Inkjet technique today is one of the most used techniques of digital printing, primarily due to the quality of prints and production speed. The possibilities of personalization and various finishing procedures add value of digital prints. One of the available reproduction effects is metallic tones applied for high quality purposes. The possible realization of such a special effect of partial varnishing uses Inkjet heads and subsequent thermal transfer application of metallic foil. Such processes today can be performed by hybrid machines that first had a UV drying varnish to then achieve the application (bonding) of the metallic foil. In this paper, the effect of accepting varnish and foil by applying varnish directly on a matte printing substrate (cardboard for artistic printing, grain 300 g / m2) will be tested. The metallic foil used was Murata Gold. For the purposes of experimentation, the MGI JET Varnish 3DS printing machine with a built-in 5 Konica Minolta Inkjet head type KM1024iLHE-30 with two UV drying lamps is used. The amount of UV drying varnish applied, affecting the adhesion of the metallic foil and how the production speed of the JET Varnish 3Ds printing machine affects it will be tested. During the experimental, the UV application was changed to modify 6 characteristic thicknesses (21 μm, 29 μm, 36 μm, 43 μm, 51 μm and 58 μm) with a constant foil transfer temperature of 105° C. Additional testing and the influence of the speed of movement of printing media (0,300 m/s; 0,240 m/s; 0,159 m/s) with constant application of UV varnish. The realized prints were analyzed by the method of image analysis in the ImageJ program. The OriginPro program calculated realized deviations, which created characteristic graphic representations. The aim of this paper was to analyze the quality of prints created by applying metal transfer foils, by determining the quality of vector illustrations, dotted and line elements. The MGI JET Varnish 3DS best reproduces all elements at a 21 µm varnish application and a print speed of 0.240 m / s. There is no need for larger coats of varnish because it will not give a better effect. The exception is motifs with large surface coverage

Izrada 3D modela i animacija borbenog aviona
Tema ovog završnog rada je izrada 3D modela borbenog aviona. 3D model
aviona je izrađen u programu za 3D modeliranje i animaciju, Blender-u. Danas
je 3D modeliranje i animacija prisutna kod izrade raznih multimedijskih sadržaja.
Cilj istraživanja, odnosno izrade ovog završnog rada, je upoznavanje s
osnovama 3D modeliranja i oblikovanja te izrade animacija u 3D programu kao i
primjena stečenih znanja na izradu konkretnog projekta. Za potrebe izrade 3D
modela aviona potrebno je poznavati sve dijelove aviona i način slaganja tih
dijelova, kako bi se dobio dobar 3D model aviona. Nakon izrade 3 D modela
izvršilo se renderiranje
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
