Estudio de factibilidad de bus eléctrico para el trayecto Campus UNVM – Terminal de ómnibus de Villa María = Electric bus factibility study for Campus UNVM – Villa María terminal path
A nivel mundial el sector transporte es uno de los que más energía consume, lo cual deriva en que es uno de los sectores que más contribuye al cambio climático debido a que la energía consumida proviene en su mayor parte de origen fósil. Además, en los últimos años este campo ha experimentado un gran crecimiento de la mano del parque automotor mundial. Por ello, es importante en orden de alcanzar la sustentabilidad, mejorar la oferta de transporte y disminuir el uso de combustibles fósiles mediante la reducción de vehículos a combustión y la inserción de transporte amigable con el medio ambiente. En este trabajo se investigó la factibilidad de implementar un transporte público basado en móviles eléctricos para cubrir el trayecto Campus UNVM - Terminal de ómnibus de Villa María. Para ello, se llevó a cabo un diagnóstico de la situación actual del transporte público en el trayecto, y se consideraron diferentes alternativas: compra de rodados eléctricos que existen en el mercado, y el desarrollo de un prototipo mediante la conversión y adaptación de un ómnibus de combustión a eléctrico. Además, en función de trabajos de investigación previos del equipo de trabajo en los cuales se demostró la sinergia que poseen los vehículos eléctricos con la energía distribuida fotovoltaica, se analizó la posibilidad de colocar paneles solares en el techo del bus, y de sumar una estación fotovoltaica en el predio universitario para cubrir el total de la energía que consume el vehículo eléctrico. Se evaluaron costos y beneficios de los vehículos estudiados y se compararon las alternativas. Como conclusión del trabajo, se comprueba la hipótesis planteada que, al reemplazar los buses a combustión con eléctricos, se obtienen ventajas económicas, técnicas, ambientales y sociales para la ciudad. Finalizado el estudio de factibilidad, se realizará un anteproyecto para presentar a los organismos involucrados: UNVM, Municipalidad de Villa María y eventuales fabricantes o desarrolladores interesados.
Throughout the world, the transport sector is one of the most energy-consuming, which means that it is one of the fields that contributes the most to climate change because the energy consumed comes mostly from fossil origin. In recent years this sector has experienced great growth in hand with the global vehicle fleet. Therefore, it is important, in order to achieve sustainability, to improve the transport supply and decrease the use of fossil fuels by reducing combustion vehicles and inserting environmentally friendly transport. This work’s aim was to investigate the feasibility of implementing public transport based on electric mobiles to cover the route Campus UNVM - Bus Terminal of Villa María. To achieve this, a current situation diagnosis was held, and different alternatives, the purchase of an electric bus that exists in the market, and the development of a prototype by converting and adapting a combustion bus into an electric one were considered. In addition, in previous UNVM research works, it has been demonstrated the synergy possessed by electric vehicles with photovoltaic distributed energy, so the possibility of placing solar panels on the roof of the bus were analyzed. Furthermore, the viability of adding a photovoltaic station in the University site to cover the total energy consumed by the electric vehicle were studied. Costs and benefits of the vehicles studied were evaluated and the alternatives were compared. As a conclusion, it was proved that replacing the combustion buses with electric ones provides economic, technical, environmental and social advantages for the city. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
