A utiliza??o do CO2 como subst?ncia capaz de aumentar a recupera??o de hidrocarbonetos em campos de petr?leo ? uma atividade conhecida e de efici?ncia comprovada. Apesar da tecnologia de separa??o e captura de CO2 ser ainda relativamente cara, ? de fundamental import?ncia que as companhias petrol?feras comecem a ter reservas estrat?gicas deste g?s para que tenham capacidade de suprir aumentos de demandas de hidrocarbonetos. Desta forma ser? poss?vel maximizar o tempo de vida ?til dos campos de ?leo, tornando-os mais sustent?veis em termos ambientais e econ?micos. Assim, o presente estudo introduz o conceito in?dito de captura e armazenamento geol?gico din?mico de CO2 - DCCS, que tem como objetivo principal, formar reservat?rios estrat?gicos de CO2, atrav?s da captura do CO2 de fontes emissoras, transporte e respectiva inje??o em reservat?rio, que podem ser r?pida e facilmente utilizados como fonte de CO2 para recupera??o avan?ada de ?leo - EOR em campos maduros de petr?leo. O DCCS tem a fun??o de garantir que n?o ocorram falhas no abastecimento de CO2 em projetos de EOR, n?o comprometendo a viabilidade econ?mica destes. Modeling a Distribution of Mortgage Credit Losses
No full textOne of the biggest risks arising from financial operations is the risk of counterparty default, commonly known as a “credit risk”. Leaving unmanaged, the credit risk would, with a high probability, result in a crash of a bank. In our paper, we will focus on the credit risk quantification methodology. We will demonstrate that the current regulatory standards for credit risk management are at least not perfect, despite the fact that the regulatory framework for credit risk measurement is more developed than systems for measuring other risks, e.g. market risks or operational risk. Generalizing the well known KMV model, standing behind Basel II, we build a model of a loan portfolio involving a dynamics of the common factor, influencing the borrowers’ assets, which we allow to be non-normal. We show how the parameters of our model may be estimated by means of past mortgage deliquency rates. We give a statistical evidence that the non-normal model is much more suitable than the one assuming the normal distribution of the risk factors. We point out how the assumption that risk factors follow a normal distribution can be dangerous. Especially during volatile periods comparable to the current crisis, the normal distribution based methodology can underestimate the impact of change in tail losses caused by underlying risk factors.Credit Risk, Mortgage, Delinquency Rate, Generalized Hyperbolic Distribution, Normal Distribution

No full textThis thesis presents a specific historical biography based on the post-positivist approach to oral history. Therefore, working with memory and examining the subjectivity of actors is essential. The thesis captures the historical subjectivity of independent researcher Petr Enc, who focuses on researching fallen German soldiers and caring for their graves. His research - along with the awareness of his German origin - shapes his personal identity and influences his perspective on World War II, particularly regarding the collective violence against German soldiers by Czech people. The text is divided into several analytical and interpretative sections, each addressing a different issue that repeatedly appears in Petr Enc's narratives. A key focus is the understanding of the process of forming partial identities that shape his view of German soldiers. This problematic identity formation - shaped by his long-hidden German origin and stories about World War II told by his father and grandmother - is subsequently reflected in Petr Enc's communication and creative work.Tato diplomova prace predstavuje specifickou historickou biografii, vychazející z post- pozitivistickeho prístupu oralní historie. Zasadní je proto prace s pametí a zkoumaní akterske subjektivity. Prace zachycuje historickou subjektivitu nezavisleho badatele Petra Ence, ktery se venuje vyzkumu padlych nemeckych vojaku a peci o jejich hroby. Tyto vyzkumy - a zaroven vedomí nemeckeho puvodu - formují jeho identitu a ovlivnují pohled na problematiku druhe svetove valky, zejmena pak na kolektivní nasilí vuci nemeckym vojakum z pozice ceskych obyvatel. Text je clenen do nekolika analyticko- interpretacních castí, z nichz kazda se zabyva jinou problematikou, jez se opakovane objevuje v narativech Petra Ence. Zasadní je zde porozumení procesu utvarení dílcích identit, ktere formují jeho pohled na nemecke vojaky. Abstrakt: Práce představuje sérii studií zabývajících se magnetickým cirkulárním dichroismem (MCD), spektroskopickou metodou, u které v posledních letech došlo k intenzívnímu teoretickému rozvoji. Díky vývoji kvantově-chemických pro- gramů se otevírají nové možnosti výpočtů a interpretace MCD spekter větších a různorodějších molekul než bylo doposud možné. V představovaných studiích jsme využili nově vyvinutých výpočetních prostředků k rozšíření možných aplikací MCD a představujeme zde MCD například jako metodu pro získání informace o struktuře fullerenů. Dále jsme studovali vliv konformace a implicitního a explic- itního rozpouštědla na MCD spektra aromatických amino kyselin s pomocí nově implementovaného alternativního výpočetního postupu využívajícího sčítání přes excitované stavy. Abstract: The thesis presents a series of studies concerning magnetic circular dichroism (MCD), a spectroscopic method, which experienced an intense theo- retical development in the recent years. New computational codes opened possi- bilities to calculate MCD spectra of larger and more varied molecules than was possible in the past. In the presented studies, we took the advantage of the new computational codes to broaden the possible span of applications of the MCD technique. As an example, we present MCD as a method useful for obtaining information about the structure of fullerenes. We also studied the influence of the molecular conformation and the explicit and implicit solvent models on the MCD spectra of aromatic amino acids using the newly implemented alterna- tive computational protocol based on sum-over-states calculations. We have also theoretically predicted spectra of the nuclear spin circular dichroism (NSCD), a potential new high-resolution spectroscopy. Variations on the Author
No full text“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Linguistic analysis of Petr Nikl's works
No full textThe content of this paper is a linguistic analysis of Petr Nikl's texts. Petr Nikl is an all-round artist. His main activity is graphic arts; he is also engaged in the Puppet Theater, he sings with a music group Lakomé Barky and writes children books. The aim of this study is to determine if the author respects the child perspective in his works. Especially if he uses only such language elements, that are appropriate for children. After a thorough analysis of all Nikl's books (Pohádka o Rybitince (2001), O Rybabě a Mořské duši (2002), Lingvistické pohádky (2006), Záhádky (2007), Jělěňovití (2008) a Niklův Blázníček (2009), I concluded that the author respects only some elements of the perspective of a child. The syntactic structure of the text is uncomplicated and therefore children appropriate. From the lexical point of view the situation is not so clear. The author uses simple metaphors, similes, uses words that mostly originate from the national origin, and often uses emotive words. On the other hand, uncommon and literary words and complicated poetic neologisms, that most children cannot know, occur in his texts quite frequently. From the morphological point of view I do not find any significant obstacles, so that children could not read and enjoy his works. But these obstacles can occur on the..
Petr Rašín of Rýzmburk, field marshal of the Kingdom of Bohemia and Royal Sub-Chamberlain († 1537)
No full textVýchodočeský šlechtic Petr Rašín z Rýzmburka v mládí působil jako vojenský velitel ve službách Vladislava Jagellonského. V roce 1523 byl královnou Marií Habsburskou jmenován podkomořím králové jakožto dvorský úředník, zajišťující v zastoupení královny správní a soudní záležitosti sedmi královských věnných měst. Šlo vlastně o obnovení tohoto dvorského úřadu, který nebyl od smrti královny Johanky (+1475) personálně obsazen. Po odchodu Marie Habsburské do Nizozemí (1531) vykonával Petr Rašín funkci podkomořího i pro královnu Annu Jagellonskou. V květnu 1537 byl králem Ferdinandem jmenován polním maršálkem Království českého pro tažení českého vojska na bitevní pole do Uher. Na uherském bojišti však v říjnu 1537 zemřel. Pozůstalá vdova žádala od krále vyplacení žoldu, který jejímu manželu náležel za několik měsíců služby. Tyto nároky pozůstalých se staly podnětem k ustavení komise, která měla prověřit, zda nedošlo ze strany zemřelého Petra Rašína ke zpronevěře nějakých finančních prostředků. Komise měla také ověřit právní základ všech povinností, kterými byla královské věnná města povinna vůči královně, a navrhnout řešení sporu.The East Bohemian nobleman Petr Rašín of Rýzmburk served as a military commander in the service of Vladislav Jagiellon. In 1523, he was appointed by Queen Maria of Habsburg as a Sub-Chamberlain, responsible for the administrative and judicial affairs of the seven royal dower towns on behalf of the Queen. This was in fact a renewal of this court office, which had not been staffed since the death of Queen Joan (+1475). After the departure of Maria Habsburg to the Netherlands (1531), Petr Rašín also served as Sub- Chamberlain for Queen Anne of Jagiellon. In May 1537 he was appointed Field Marshal of the Kingdom of Bohemia by King Ferdinand for the campaign of the Bohemian army to the battlefield in Hungary. However, he died on the Hungarian battlefield in October 1537. The surviving widow demanded from the king the payment of the mercenary allowance which her husband had been entitled to for several months of service. These claims by the survivors prompted the establishment of a commission to investigate whether any funds had been embezzled by the deceased Peter Rašín. The commission was also to verify the legal basis of all the obligations owed by the royal dowries to the Queen and to propose a solution to the dispute
