A.R. Luria: Ideas and Prospects of Their Development in Pedagogical Psychology of the Twenty-first Century
No full textA.R. Luria’s ideas are well-known and recognized both in Russia and abroad. Scientists from different countries are actively working in neuropsychology, a part of the psychological science developed by A.R. Luria. The author has shown the relevance and importance of the neuropsychological approach to the pedagogical psychology problems and the availability to choose an adequate educational and nurturing strategy from these standpoints. The study seeks to rethink and assess the importance of A.R. Luria’s main ideas from the modern pedagogical psychology’s standpoints. The characteristic of the main theoretical provisions has been set forth based on the analysis of A.R. Luria’s academic papers and the main directions and prospects for the development of A.R. Luria’s ideas in the modern psychological pedagogical science have been determined. A.R. Luria’s academic papers most sought by the modern researchers have been noted. The study is based on the materials of the thesis researches on the pedagogical psychology problems conducted in the beginning of the twenty-first century, A.R. Luria’s papers, the publications of other researchers who have studied his contribution to the psychological science. The study results show that A.R. Luria has significantly contributed to the development of the pedagogical psychology problems. A.R. Luria’s ideas on the interaction of the humanitarian and science knowledge in the human comprehensive study, the cultural and historical understanding of the psychical functions development, and the language evolution in the music language study for the musical education development seem most promising for the pedagogical psychology development. Note has been taken of the importance of A.R. Luria’s ideas for the elaboration of the relevant problems of the training and development of a person at any age; the study of individual and typical features in mastering a foreign language; the study of the semantics of speech and means of coding meanings in the context of professional training of psychologists and teachers, specialists in the field of artistic creativity. The analysis of A.R. Luria’s main ideas facilitates the deeper understanding of the modern problems of the pedagogical psychology theory and practice
Incorporation of acceleration effects into the one-dimensional-turbulence model, with application to turbulent combustion and shock-turbulence interactions
No full textOne-dimensional turbulence (ODT) is a stochastic simulation in which 3D turbulence effects are captured on a notional 1D line of sight by introducing instantaneous spatial re-arrangements (maps) that represent advection by notional turbulent eddies. These eddy events incorporate the possibility of kinetic-energy changes that are equal and opposite to changes of other forms of energy such as the gravitational potential energy change due to a re-arrangement of a vertical density profile. This illustrates that motion aligned with an applied force, in this case gravitation , can be associated with energy change. Using this principle, we 1) present a model of turbulence interaction with the dilatational acceleration caused by thermal expansion in flames and show results for a turbulent counterflow flame with comparison to DNS and 2) present a model for shock-induced turbulence and show results for mixing width growth in a shock tube with comparison to experiments
ODTLES: A multi-scale ansatz for highly turbulent flows

Obregón refers Engr. Emilio Pérez Struck to Mr. Pérez for being reinstated in his job on the railroads. His information file is lost. Mr. Perez asks for more data. Gen. Obregón tells Mr. Francisco Pérez that the rail tracks in El Burro, Veracruz, are in very bad conditions and asks that they be repaired. Response indicating that he has sent the materials for the repairs. Gen. Obregón informs Mr. Francisco Pérez that in Salina Cruz there is a railroad worker strike asking for salary increases to the employees working on the tracks. Reply stating that the matter has been resolved. Gen. Obregón tells Mr. Francisco Pérez that reductions applied to the employees of the Railroads to contribute to the advertisement of the Direct Election Center should be suspended. No full textEl estrés térmico (ET) genera importantes pérdidas económicas en
la industria láctea (Herbut et al., 2018). El ET reduce el consumo de
alimento, la actividad de rumia y la absorción de nutrientes e
incrementa los requerimientos de mantenimiento de los animales,
lo que resulta en una menor disponibilidad de energía para la
producción de leche. Conjuntamente, estos cambios provocan que
las vacas entren en balance energético negativo (Conte et al.,
2018). En este contexto, la suplementación con una fuente de
carbohidratos protegida contra la degradación ruminal permitiría
asegurar un aporte de energía sin el incremento calórico producido
por su fermentación. El objetivo fue determinar el efecto de la
suplementación con melaza protegida sobre la respuesta
productiva, ambiente metabólico e indicadores fisiológicos en
vacas Holstein bajo condiciones de ET. En este resumen se

The IPHAS catalogue of H alpha emission-line sources in the northern Galactic plane
No full textWe present a catalogue of point-source H alpha emission-line objects selected from the INT/WFC Photometric Ha Survey (IPHAS) of the northern Galactic plane. The catalogue covers the magnitude range 13 <= r' <= 19.5 and includes Northern hemisphere sources in the Galactic latitude range -5 degrees < b < 5 degrees. It is derived from similar to 1500 deg(2) worth of imaging data, which represents 80 per cent of the final IPHAS survey area. The electronic version of the catalogue will be updated once the full survey data become available. In total, the present catalogue contains 4853 point sources that exhibit strong photometric evidence for Ha emission. We have so far analysed spectra for similar to 300 of these sources, confirming more than 95 per cent of them as genuine emission-line stars. A wide range of stellar populations are represented in the catalogue, including early-type emission-line stars, active late-type stars, interacting binaries, young stellar objects and compact nebulae.
The spatial distribution of catalogue objects shows overdensities near sites of recent or current star formation, as well as possible evidence for the warp of the Galactic plane. Photometrically, the incidence of Ha emission is bimodally distributed in (r' - i'). The blue peak is made up mostly of early-type emission-line stars, whereas the red peak may signal an increasing contribution from other objects, such as young/active low-mass stars. We have cross-matched our H alpha-excess catalogue against the emission-line star catalogue of Kohoutek & Wehmeyer, as well as against sources in SIMBAD. We find that fewer than 10 per cent of our sources can be matched to known objects of any type. Thus IPHAS is uncovering an order of magnitude more faint (r' > 13) emission-line objects than were previously known in the Milky Way
