RELATÓRIO DE ESTÁGIO DESENVOLVIDO NO SPORTING CLUBE DE BRAGA, JUNTO DA EQUIPA FEMININA SUB-19 “B”, NA ÉPOCA 2023/2024 - “Specificity Index of Training Tasks”
No full textRelatório de Estágio do Mestrado em Treino Desportivo apresentado à Faculdade de Ciências do Desporto e Educação FísicaO processo de formação de treinadores de futebol é um longo percurso de aprendizagem constituído por diversas disciplinas de cariz teórico e prático que visam a sua preparação para a prática diária de condução de uma equipa de futebol. É, nesse sentido, que surge a realização do presente relatório para dar a conhecer a experiência do estágio relativo à época 2023/2024 na equipa feminina Sub-19 “B” do Sporting Clube de Braga – Futebol, SAD que disputou a II Divisão do Campeonato Nacional Sub-19 Feminino e que tem em vista a obtenção do grau de mestre em Treino Desportivo pela Faculdade de Ciências do Desporto e Educação Física da Universidade de Coimbra. Irá estar presente ao longo do documento diversa informação de diferentes domínios, sempre suportada por evidência científica e que converge num só objetivo, o de explicar e enquadrar a realidade do Estágio. O relatório está divido em 5 diferentes categorias: (1) o porquê da realização do Estágio assim como as expetativas e objetivos do aluno; (2) a estrutura e organização do clube a todos os níveis; (3) é apresentado método do trabalho e as funções do estagiário no clube e na equipa; (4) é realizada uma reflexão que tem como objetivo elucidar o leitor acerca dos diferentes desafios e vivências do estudante no decorrer do Estágio; (5) por último, foi realizado um trabalho de investigação sob a forma de artigo científico. O projeto científico de investigação pretendeu comparar principalmente o Índice de Especificidade de todas as tarefas de treino dos 25 treinos entre dois mesociclos de uma mesma época desportiva que distaram 54 dias entre si. Foram também analisadas outras variáveis para perceber se existiriam variações significativas de forma a compreender o modo como foram planeadas as unidades de treino dos dois mesociclos da época desportiva na equipa Sub-19 “B”. Os resultados demonstraram que não existiram diferenças estatisticamente significativas das diversas variáveis entre os dois mesociclos analisados à exceção da Intensidade em que se verificou uma diferença moderada (t = 0.883; p < 0.05). Este estudo pode ajudar as equipas técnicas a perceber a importância do IE no planeamento do treino e como em conjunto com a monitorização da fadiga poderá igualmente providenciar informações úteis acerca do estado dos jogadores.The process of training football coaches is a lengthy learning journey consisting of various theoretical and practical disciplines aimed to prepare coaches for their future daily practice of leading a football team in any context they face. It is in this sense that this report is presented to share the experience of the internship during the 2023/2024 season with the Sporting Clube de Braga - Futebol, SAD women’s Under-19 “B” team, which competed in the II Division of the National Women’s Under-19 Championship. Throughout the document, you will find information from different domains, always supported by scientific evidence, converging toward a single objective: to explain and frame the reality of the internship. This document is divided into five different categories: (1) explains why the internship was conducted and outlines the student’s expectations and objectives; (2) Provides insights into the club’s structure and organization at all levels; (3) describes the technical staff’s work method and the student’s responsibilities within the club and team; (4) reflects on the different challenges and experiences faced by the student during the internship; (5) presents a research project in the form of a scientific article. The scientific research project aimed to primarily compare the Specificity Index (SI) of all training tasks across 25 sessions between two mesocycles within the same sports season, separated by 54 days. Other variables were also analysed to understand if there were significant variations in how the training units were planned for the two mesocycles of the U-19 “B” team during the season. The results showed no statistically significant differences in various variables between the two analysed mesocycles, except for Intensity, where a moderate difference was observed (t = 0.883; p < 0.05). This study can help coaching staff understand the importance of SI in training planning and how, in conjunction with fatigue monitoring, it can provide useful information about the players’ condition

No full textO presente artigo intitulado A trajetória do padre pardo Daniel Pedro Marques de Oliveira: a escravidão nos periódicos da província do Amazonas (1860-1870) tem como enfoque central a trajetória política de um ex-escravo padre Daniel, tipificado como pardo livre que foi entre as décadas de 1860-1870 personagem de significativa relevância no cenário político da sociedade amazonense do oitocentos. Utilizamos como aporte teórico as discussões em torno do uso de periódicos enquanto fonte polissêmica, ressaltando o caráter complexo que tais fontes podem apresentar. O artigo encontra-se dividido em duas partes: a primeira de maneira sumária tratando do nascimento do periodismo do Amazonas a segunda parte analisa a trajetória política do padre pardo (liberto) Daniel Pedro Marques de Oliveira a partir de fontes oficiais de jornais da Província do Amazonas.</jats:p

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

1880). Tem por objetivo analisar a trajetória do liberto padre Daniel Pedro Marques
de Oliveira, a partir de sua atuação na província do Amazonas. A tese encontra-se
dividida em três partes: O padre, o professor e o político, seguindo a trajetória do
padre desta maneira, analisou-se as ações de indivíduos classificados como
libertos no século XIX, tendo como fio condutor a trajetória do vigário de Silves-AM.
O referencial teórico-metodológico, para análise das fontes coletadas baseia-se na
metodologia de microanálise, centrada nos usos vinculados à uma abordagem da
história social da cultura. A respeito desta questão, destaca-se que a problemática
da discussão em se tratando de uma biografia está metodologicamente ligada à
uma redução de escala de análise. Ressalte-se ainda a impossibilidade de se
conceber uma história local dentro de uma relação centro-periferia, onde as
estruturas econômicas e administrativas formadas no império do Brasil e na
província do Amazonas se sobressaíram as ações humanas. Para tal utilizou-se
como fontes na pesquisa documentos oficiais produzidos pelas instituições na
província, como relatórios, falas e exposições de presidentes de província, atas da
assembleia legislativa provincial. Outras fontes utilizadas foram as da pasta
funcional do sacerdote, localizada na cúria metropolitana de Manaus, órgão
vinculado à igreja católica e os periódicos que circularam entre as províncias do
Pará e Amazonas, no recorte deste trabalho. Este estudo busca desvendar parte
do processo de participação de libertos no sistema político do império,
notadamente na segunda metade do século XIX, na província do Amazonas. De
acordo com a Constituição de 1824 e legislações posteriores, os libertos tinham
restrições impostas à sua participação política. Seus direitos civis, conquistados
pela liberdade, não eram sinônimos de direitos políticos. Padre Daniel, em seus
argumentos para defesa de sua condição de homem livre e senhor, não escondeu
a sua origem. Apesar de ter nascido de ventre escravizado, defende sua posição
social encontrando lacunas nas leis vigentes. Alegava ter herdado de seu pai e
senhor a liberdade natural, no ato de seu batismo, portanto não partilhara a
experiência do cativeiro e o catolicismo lhe confirmara a liberdade. Importante
destacar que padre Daniel foi eleito, ao arrepio da lei, para uma vaga na assembleia
legislativa provincial nos biênios de 1858-59, 1860-61, 1864-65, 1868-69, 1872-73,
1876-77, 1878-79. Father Daniel Pedro Marques de Oliveira in the province of Amazonas (1850 -
1880). It aims to analyze the trajectory of the freed priest Daniel Pedro Marques de
Oliveira, from his work in the province of Amazonas. The thesis is divided into three
parts: The priest, the teacher and the politician, following the trajectory of the priest
in this way, the actions of individuals classified as freedmen in the 19th century were
analyzed, having as a guiding principle the trajectory of the vicar of Silves-AM. The
theoretical-methodological framework for analyzing the collected sources is based
on the microanalysis methodology, centered on uses linked to an approach to the
social history of culture. Regarding this issue, it is highlighted that the problematic
of the discussion in the case of a biography is methodologically linked to a reduction
in the scale of analysis. It is also important to stress the impossibility of conceiving
a local history within a center-periphery relationship, where the economic and
administrative structures formed in the empire of Brazil and in the province of
Amazonas prevailed over human actions. For this, official documents produced by
institutions in the province were used as sources in the research, such as reports,
speeches and statements by provincial presidents, minutes of the provincial
legislative assembly. Other sources used were those from the priests' functional
portfolio, contained in the metropolitan curia of Manaus, an organ linked to the
Catholic church, and the periodicals that circulated between the provinces of Pará
and Amazonas, in the scope of this work. This study seeks to unravel part of the
participation process of freedmen in the political system of the empire, notably in the
second half of the 19th century, in the province of Amazonas. According to the 1824
constitution and subsequent legislation, freedmen had restrictions imposed on their
political participation. Their civil rights, conquered by freedom, were not
synonymous with political rights. Father Daniel, in his arguments for defending his
status as a free man and lord, does not hide his origin. Despite being born in a
slave womb, he defends his social position by finding loopholes in current laws. He
claimed to have inherited natural freedom from his father and lord, in the act of his
baptism, therefore he did not share the experience of captivity and Catholicism
confirmed his freedom. It is important to note that Father Daniel was elected,
contrary to the law, to a vacancy in the provincial legislative assembly in the biennia
of 1858-59, 1860-61, 1864-65, 1868-69, 1872-73, 1876-77, 1878-79 . It is also a

Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
