"Un fenicio che reca legno americano?". Una scheda per d'Annunzio e Passerini
L'articolo segnala, alla Biblioteca Nazionale di Roma, la scoperta di bozze di stampa del Vocabolario dannunziano di Passerini corrette dallo stesso d'Annunzio. Si tratta di un materiale di cui non si conosceva l'esistenza, e che permette di osservare da un'angolazione inedita il laboratorio linguistico dannunziano: oltre a suggerire i significati di molte parole, d'Annunzio indica infatti anche le fonti da cui ha attinto le varie voci.The article reports the discovery of proofs of The Vocabolario dannunziano by Passerini corrected by the same d'Annunzio. It is material still unknown that enables to look at D'Annunzio's work from a different point of view: besides suggesting the meanings of many words, d'Annunzio indicates also his lexical sources
Effects of rapid acidification in marine seawater: Focus on Actinopterygii
The progressive acidification of the world's oceans has led to widespread concern regarding the potential consequences for marine biosphere. As a result, most research has been focused on the steady increase of dissolved CO2 and consequent acidification thus on calcifying species while less attention has been paid to the physiological and developmental impacts of teleost fish. However, rapid and massive release of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the marine environment may occur due to both natural and anthropogenic causes. This review specifically examines the outcomes of rapid but confined CO2 emissions, with a focus on their role in accelerating the local acidification of seawater and on the related effects on Actinopterygii. It examines the impacts of elevated CO2 levels on marine fishes, also emphasizing the lack of experimental evidence on embryonic larval and larval phases, which are highly vulnerable to acid-base imbalances and related physiological disruptions. A broad review of literature published between 1963 and 2025, on fishes' exposure to varying CO2 conditions, highlights pronounced variability in responses across species and developmental stages. Early life phases frequently exhibit reduced survival, skeletal and sensory anomalies, and shifts in metabolic demand. Although some taxa demonstrate compensatory adjustments, the resulting energetic costs and physiological trade-offs can limit growth, reproduction, and long-term resilience. Advancing our understanding of fish vulnerability and adaptive potential under seawater acidification of marine fishes in an acidifying environment requires long-term, ecologically relevant designs and integrated approaches that link multiple life stages and biological scales
Statistic-driven proton transfer affecting nanoscopic organization in an ethylammonium nitrate ionic liquid and 1,4-diaminobutane binary mixture: A steamy pizza model
Herein, we report on the theoretical and experimental investigation of the chemical equilibrium in a Ethylammonium Nitrate (EAN)/1,4-Diaminobutane (DAB) binary mixture displaying a significant excess of the latter component (namely, a 1:9 mole ratio). Both the neutral compounds, i.e., ethylamine (EtNH2) and DAB, present very similar chemical properties, especially concerning their basic strength, resulting in a continuous jump of the proton from the ethylammonium to the diamine (and vice-versa). Due to the significant excess of DAB, the proton is (statistically) expected to be bound to one of its nitrogen atoms, leading to the formation of a new (ternary) mixture containing DAB (ca. 80%), ethylamine (ca. 10%) and 4-amino-1-butylammonium nitrate (ABAN, ca. 10%). This is probed by means of SAXS measurements, showing LqE (low q excess) that increases over time. This feature tends to stabilize after approximately one day. When the measurement is repeated after one year, the LqE feature shows an increased intensity. Based on the results of our simulations, we suggest that this phenomenon is likely due to partial ethylamine evaporation, pushing the equilibrium toward the formation of ABA

L’indagine si concentra in primo luogo sul trasferimento d’azienda, esaminando la normativa e la giurisprudenza europee per passare poi alla disciplina di diritto interno, alle procedure sindacali e a uno specifico focus sul trasferimento delle aziende in crisi.
Successivamente l’autore si sofferma sull’appalto, prendendone in particolare considerazione gli indici di genuinità, i criteri di distinzione dalla somministrazione illecita di manodopera e la tutela delle maestranze in caso di avvicendamento fra imprese.
Da ultimo, la ricerca approfondisce le c.d. “clausole sociali”, sia di prima che di seconda generazione, valutandone la compatibilità con il diritto eurounitario e con la costituzione nonché riflettendo sui possibili rimedi in caso di loro violazione.The author analyzes the labour consequences of the succession between entrepreneurs, starting from a recognition of the various types of outsourcing with the related needs and main critical issues.

Disseminated cryptococcosis in a Patient With Metastatic Prostate Cancer Who Died in the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Outbreak
We report the case of a 61-year-old patient with a history of prostate cancer affected by bone metastasis. He presented to our attention for ulcerous and necrotic cutaneous lesions unresponsive to antibiotics. The spread of cutaneous lesions and the onset of neurological symptoms suggested a cryptococcal disease, which was confirmed by lumbar puncture and cutaneous biopsy. We present the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to this case
Ultra Low Carbon Vehicles: New Parameters for Automotive Design
As the influence of vehicle emissions on our environment has become better understood, the UK government has recently placed urgent emphasis on the implementation of low carbon
technologies in the automotive industry through: the UK Low Carbon Industrial Strategy. The overall objective is to offer big incentives to consumers and support for the development of infrastructure and engineering solutions. This scheme however does not consider how the development of functional and experiential user value might drive consumer demand, contributing to the adoption of low carbon vehicles (LCVs) in the mass market.
With the emergence of the North East of England as the UK’s first specialised region for the development of ultra-low carbon vehicles (ULCVs), ONE North East, as a development agency for the region's economic and business development, and Northumbria University Ideas-lab have supported a project to facilitate innovation through the collaboration of technology, research and development (R&D) and business. The High Value Low Carbon (HVLC) project aims to envisage
new user value made possible by the integration of low carbon vehicle platforms with new process and network technologies. The HVLC consortium represents vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers as well as technology based companies and through an ongoing process of design concept generation the project offers a hub for innovation led enterprise.
Whilst new technological developments in areas such as power generation, nano materials, hydrogen fuel cells, printed electronics and networked communications will all impact on future automotive design, the mass adoption of low carbon technologies represents a paradigm shift for the motorist. La trattazione, a carattere diacronico, abbraccia i rami principali del diritto del lavoro: il rapporto individuale, le relazioni collettive, il mercato del lavoro. L'autore rileva una sorprendente continuità nelle linee essenziali del diritto del lavoro russo, pur nel susseguirsi di sistemi socioeconomici completamente diversi. Egli conclude che il diritto del lavoro russo appartiene saldamente alla matrice europea della materia.The contribution of the author starts by examining fundamental labour rights recognised by the Constitutions of the Countries of the Community of Independent States. Then the author focuses upon Russian Labour Law, going through the history of the main branches of the discipline: the individual relationship, industrial relations, the labour market. The article finds a surprising continuity in the essential lines of Russian Labour Law, in spite of the completely different socio-economic systems that were experimented in Russia during the twentieth century. The author concludes that Russian Labour Law clearly belongs to the European matrix of the discipline
Evaluation of spray congealing as technique for the preparation of highly loaded solid lipid microparticles containing the sunscreen agent, avobenzone
Solid lipid microparticles (SLMs) loaded with high amounts of the sunscreen agent, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane (avobenzone) were prepared in order to reduce its photoinstability. The microparticles were produced, using carnauba wax as lipidic material and phosphatidylcholine as the surfactant, by the classical melt dispersion method or the spray congealing technique with pneumatic atomizer. The sunscreen agent loading was 40.1–48.5% (w/w), with no significant differences between the production methods. However, release studies indicated that spray congealing
enabled a more efficient modulation of avobenzone release from the SLMs (26% of encapsulated avobenzone released after 2 h as compared to 60% for melt dispersion). The photoprotective efficacy of the SLMs was evaluated after their introduction in a model
cream. A statistically significant decrease of the light-induced degradation of avobenzone was obtained by the SLMs prepared by the melt dispersion procedure (the extent of degradation was 38.6 +/- 3.6% for nonencapsulated avobenzone and 32.1+/- 4.3% for the micropaticle-entrapped sunscreen). On the other hand, the SLMs produced by spray congealing achieved a more marked reduction in avobenzone photodecomposition to 15.4+/-4.1%. Therefore, the spray congealing technique was superior to the classical melt dispersion method for rapid and solvent free production of SLMs with a high avobenzone loading capacity
