Earlier we showed that the balneotherapeutic complex of Truskavets’ spa have significant modulating effects on parameters of EEG&HRV and Immunity of patients with chronic pyelonephritis and cholecystitis in remission accompanied of neuroendocrine-immune complex dysfunction. Were detected the close relationships between EEG, HRV, endocrine and immune parameters as well as between changes in EEG&HRV and immune parameters under the influence of balneotherapy. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationships between changes in the state of neuroendocrine regulation and immunity of the same patients. Materials and Methods. The object of clinical-physiological observation were 22 men aged 23-70 years, who underwent rehabilitation treatment of chronic pyelonephritis and cholecystitis in remission in the Truskavets’ spa. The examination was performed twice, before and after a 9-11-day course of balneotherapy. The subject of the study were the parameters of the electroencephalogram, heart rate variability, hormones and immunity. Results. The method of canonical correlation analysis states that the changes in immunity caused by balneotherapy are determined by the constellation of alaptation hormones by 98,9%, the autonomic nervous system by 99,9%, the central nervous system by 99,7%. Conclusion. Immunomodulatory effect of balneotherapy is realized through the neuro-endocrine mechanism. Keywords: Truskavets’ spa, EEG, HRV, hormonal and immune parameters, relationships

Balneotherapy has its rightful place in the arsenal of means of treatment of chronic. The universally recognized gold standard of balneofactors is Naftussya bioactive water. The issue of the loss of its healing properties by Naftussya water after extraction from the subsoil, the possibility of its preservation and transportation remain debatable and relevant. The purpose of this study is to compare the impact of fresh and canned water on the microbiota of feces and urine in patients with chronic pyelonephritis. Materials and Methods. The object of clinical-physiological observation were residents of the city of Truskavets’ (21 men aged 24-67 years and 8 women 33-76 years) with chronic pyelonephritis in remission. The subject of the study were the leukocyturia and bacteriuria levels and components of microbiota of feces. Results. Weekly use of fresh Naftussya water causes an increase in the reduced content of probiotics in the microbiota and a decrease in the increased content of conditionally pathogenic microflora, which is accompanied by a reduction of bacteriuria and leveling of leukocyturia. The beneficial effect on the listed parameters of canned Naftussya water is less pronounced, but the differences are statistically insignificant. Conclusion. The obtained results provide grounds for continuing research into the effects of canned Naftusya water on the body of urological patients. ROLE OF ORGANIC CARBON AND NITROGEN OF MINERAL WATERS IN THEIR IMMUNOMODULATING EFFECTS AT FEMALE RATS Igor Popovych1, Igor Mysula2, Andriy Popovych1, Yuriy Mysula2, Nataliya Sydliaruk2, Volodymyra Bilas1, Walery Zukow3* 1OO Bohomolets’ Institute of Physiology, Kyїv, Ukraine 2IY Horbachevs’kyi National Medical University, Ternopil’, Ukraine 3Nicolaus Copernicus University, Torun, Poland *[email protected] Abstract Background. Drinking mineral water is one of the ethnopharmacologic factors. Organic substances, despite their presence in all drinking mineral waters, are still considered to be active only in the water of Naftussya type (which, due to mineralization less than 1 g/L, are not formally mineral), whereas the physiological activity of true mineral waters (which mineralization is greater than 1-2 g/L) are associated with electrolytes and trace elements. Previously, we identified the role of organic carbon and nitrogen of mineral waters in their effects on certain metabolic and neuro-endocrine parameters. The purpose of this study is to clarify the role of organic substances of same mineral waters in their effects on immunity parameters. Material and methods. Experiment was performed on 48 healthy female Wistar rats 240-290 g divided into 5 groups. Animals of the first group for 6 days administered a single tap water through the tube at a dose of 1,5 mL/100 g of body mass. In the second group we administered the water Naftussya from the Truskavets’ layer (Galychyna, Ukraine), in the third group the water Sophiya of the Truskavets’ field. The rats of the fourth group received the native water from the Hertsa (Bucovyna, Ukraine) field, and the last group received its artificial salt analogue. The day after the completion of the drinking course in all rats immunne parameters were registered. Results. On the basis of the correlation analysis with step-by-step exclusion, 9 immune parameters (Endotheliocytes of Thymus, Spleen Mass Index, Entropy of Splenocytogram, Natural Killers, B- and 0-Lymphocytes, Rod-shaped Neutrophils, Phagocytic Index and Microbian Count of Monocytes of Blood) are included in the regressive model for organic nitrogen (R=0,818) and 6 parameters (Endotheliocytes of Thymus, Fibroblastes and Reticulocytes of Spleen, Pan-Lymphocytes, Microbian Count of Neutrophils and Phagocytic Index of Monocytes of Blood) for organic carbon (R=0,690). Together, the organic components of the chemical composition of loading fluids determine their effect on the immune parameters by 77%. Conclusion. Organic substances of mineral waters play an essential role in their effects on the immune parameters of female rats. Key words: Mineral waters, organic carbon and nitrogen, female rats, immunity

There are several patented methods of preservation of medicinal waters of the Naftussya type. The authors of the patents as evidence of the correctness of the methods cite the facts of preservation of the ability of canned water to enhance motility rat’s v. portae in vitro and/or increase diuresis. However, such tests are not attributive. The most characteristic manifestation of the biological activity of Naftussya water is the stimulation of phagocytosis. Another "Method of preservation of hydrogen sulfide mineral waters" was recently patented. Based on the above, we will use attributive tests for its verification. Materials and Methods. The object of clinical-physiological observation were residents of the city of Truskavets’ (21 men aged 24-67 years and 8 women 33-76 years) with chronic pyelonephritis in remission. The subject of the study were the phagocytic function of neutrophils, excretory function of kidneys as well as leukocyturia and bacteriuria levels and components of microbiota of feces. Results. Weekly use of fresh Naftussya water causes an increase in the reduced content of probiotics in the microbiota and a decrease in the increased content of conditionally pathogenic microflora, which is accompanied by an increase in reduced bactericidal capacity of neutrophils against both E. coli and Staph. aureus, normal diuresis, phosphaturia, magnesiumuria, ureauria while reduction of bacteriuria and leveling of leukocyturia as well as decrease in concentration of uric acid in urine and creatinine and cholesterol in plasma. The beneficial effect on the listed parameters of canned Naftussya water is less pronounced, but the differences are statistically insignificant. Conclusion. The obtained results confirm the effectiveness of the Dovzhenko© method for Naftusya water conservation and provide grounds for continuing research into the effects of canned Naftusya water on the body of urological patients. Keywords: Naftussya bioactive water, Dovzhenko© conservation method, chronic pyelonephritis, urinary syndrome, microbiota, phagocytosis, diuresis, saluresis

Previously we have shown within the immunological homunculus conception that take place causal relationships between induced by balneotherapy changes in parameters of EEG and HRV, on the one hand, and the parameters of humoral immunity, on the other hand. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationships between induced by balneotherapy changes in parameters of EEG and HRV, on the one hand, and the parameters of cellular immunity, on the other hand. Methods. In basal conditions in 33 men and 10 women with chronic pyelonephritis and cholecystitis in remission, we recorded twice, before and after balneotherapy at the spa Truskavets’, EEG (“NeuroCom Standard”) and HRV (“Cardiolab+VSR”). In blood estimated routine parameters of cellular immunity. Results. We detected that changes in relative level CD4+ T helper lymphocytes upregulated by parasympathetic outflows and β-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the loci T3, T4 and P4, while downregulated by sympathetic outflows and β-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the locus F7 as well as α-rhythm generating structures onto T6 and P4 loci. Level of CD8+ T cytolytic lymphocytes vice versa downregulated by parasympathetic outflows as well as δ-rhythm generating structures onto locus F7 and θ-rhythm generating structures onto the locus T3, while upregulated by θ-rhythm generating structures onto the locus T4. Level of CD16+ natural killers upregulated by sympathetic outflows and β-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the loci T4, T5 and C3 as well as α-rhythm generating structures onto the locus T4, while downregulated by parasympathetic outflows and β-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the loci Fp1 and F4 as well as α-rhythm generating structures onto the loci P4, O1 and O2, θ-rhythm generating structures onto the loci F7, T5, T6 and O2 as well as δ-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the loci F7, T5 and T6. Level of 0-lymphocytes upregulated by sympathetic outflows and δ-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the loci F7 and T5 as well as α-rhythm generating structures onto the loci P4 and O2, while downregulated by β-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the loci T5 and O1. Conclusion. The results are supplemented and refined Tracey’s immunological homunculus conception. Keywords: HRV, EEG, CD4+, CD8+, CD16+ Lymphocytes, correlations

The immunological homunculus conception considers somatotopic organization to СNS regulation of immune system. We set a goal to analyze the causal relationships between parameters of EEG and HRV, on the one hand, and the parameters of immunity, on the other hand. Methods. In basal conditions in 23 men with chronic pyelonephrite and cholecystite in remission, we recorded EEG (“NeuroCom Standard”) and HRV (“Cardiolab+VSR”). In blood estimated routine parameters of Immunity on a set of I and II levels recommended by the WHO. Results. Maximal coefficient canonical correlation (R) parameters of EEG and HRV detected with relative level CD22+ B-Lymphocytes: 0,94 (p<10-4), maximal relationships take place with Spectral Power Density (SPD) absolute (a) Fp1-α (r=-0,64) and relative (r) PSD Fp1-β (r=0,60). R with serum level IgM takes 0,90 (p<10-4), maximal relationships with rSPD O1-θ (r=0,60) and rHF HRV (r=0,52), with serum level IgG takes 0,86 (p<10-3), maximum with rSPD of β-rhythm in loci T6, O1 and O2 (r for all makes 0,40), with serum level IgA takes 0,84 (p<10-4), maximum with Asymmetry of δ-rhythm (r=0,59) and aSPD T4-θ (r=-0,50) as well as with Circulating Immune Complexes: R=0,84 (p<10-4), maximum with Bayevskiy’s Stress Index HRV (r=0,45) and rSPD T3-α (r=0,39). R with relative level CD8+ T-Lymphocytes makes 0,81 (p<10-4), maximal relationships take place with aSPD of α-rhythm in loci P4 (r=-0,38) and P3 (r=-0,31) as well as with rVLF HRV (r=-0,29). R with relative level CD4+ T-Lymphocytes makes 0,79 (p<10-3), maximum with aSPD of β-rhythm in loci F4 (r=0,40) and T3 (r=0,39). R with level CD16+ NK-Lymphocytes makes 0,71 (p=0,009), maximal relationships take place with Index of α-rhythm (r=-0,36) and Entropy SPD in locus C3. Minimal R detected with level “active” T-Lymphocytes: 0,57 (p=0,029). Conclusion. Take place neuro-immune causal relationships in bounds of immunological homunculus conception. Previously, we have shown that blood level of Leukocytes and parameters of Leukocytogram significantly modulated by electrical activity some structures of central and autonomic nervous systems. In this study, we set a goal to analyse the relationships between parameters of EEG and HRV, on the one hand, and the parameters of phagocytosis, on the other hand. Methods. In basal conditions in 23 men, patients with chronic pyelonephrite and cholecystite in remission, recorded EEG (“NeuroCom Standard”, KhAI Medica, Ukraine) and HRV (“Cardiolab+VSR”, KhAI Medica, Ukraine). In portion of venous blood estimated parameters of phagocytic function of neutrophils. Results. Revealed that canonical correlation between constellation EEG and HRV parameters form with Phagocytic Index 0,94 and 0,93 for E. coli and Staph. aureus respectively. However neural regulation Killing Index as well as Microbial Count significantly distinguished for Gram-negative and Gram-positive Bacteria: R form 0,99 and 0,84 versus 0,66 and 0,69 respectively. Integrated parameter Bactericidity Capacity of blood Neutrophills correlated with EEG and HRV parameters equally: R makes 0,89 and 0,93 respectively. Conclusion. Neutrophils phagocytic function subordinate modulation central and autonomic nervous systems. Keywords: HRV, EEG, Phagocytosis, Escherichia coli, Staph. aureus, correlations
