L'Inclusione delle "risorse fragili" in Sardegna: buone prassi e inserimenti socio lavorativi
The one-dimensional approaches to the study of poverty link the causes of the phenomenon back to a lack of material resources, with an emphasis on the inadequate allocation of resources characterised by the requirements of economic value and materiality. In this research, starting with the approach of multidimensional poverty, we set out to shed light on how the causes of new poverty are related to the insufficient allocation of human and social capital, characterised by the requisite of intangibility. The research hypothesis aims to investigate the possibility of conceiving the third sector as a social service instrument to meet the needs of composite sociolaboural inclusion of whom we have referred to as "fragile resources".To explore this hypothesis, the work has been divided into three stages of investigation. The first explores in depth the decision-making processes underlying the action plan to combat poverty in the context of Sardinia; the second focuses on the survey outcome of fragile resources returning to the community context as competent resources in terms of the acquisition of coping strategies and empowerment; and the third, analyses the output provided by social operators involved in the co-designing of sociolaboural inputs into social cooperatives of type B.Therefore, data on the referenced social context - the area of Oristano - show how "joint planning" between public and private can trigger generative processes of "circular solidarity", in which a two-way give and take represent a positive surplus for a "community responsive"
The paper presents the problem of the answers to male violence against women in intimate relationships and presents a case study on the potential of the anti-violence network in cop-ing with the risk of secondary victimization. The case study is related to the work of public and private entities involved in dealing with episodes of violence. It is based on the documentary analysis of the institutional documents of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia on the subject of gender-based violence, for the three-year period 2018/2020, for multilevel governance of the network coordination. Fur-thermore, with reference to the training activities developed by the Centre for Gender Stud-ies Advanced Research on Gender INequalities and opportunities of the University of Sas-sari the three-year period 2019/2021, we want to present training as a tool to create shared skills between the scientific community, professional communitiesand specialized services of the anti-violence network in Sardinia. The results highlight the importance of a training action based on the synergy between aca-demic and operational knowledge. Starting from the anti-violence centres, essential nodes of the network, it will be possible to compare subjects who are different but capable of combining experience and competence, to reduce the heterogeneity of the procedures for taking charge and limit the risk that professional routines lead to a standardization of inter-ventions, rendering them ineffective
Surviving forced migration in difficult access to welfare services: the health of women victims of trafficking. Abstract: This paper analyzes the health needs of women who have survived "trafficking" in forced migration, with the aim of identifying possible policy strategies to protect, in particular, mental health and maternity. The research question tends to explore their condition of multidimensional oppression, in the framework inspired by gender medicine and the narrative approach in the social and health field. The analysis of documentary sources and sector literature highlights how difficult access to welfare services is added to the inequalities of gender and ethnicity, due to operational gaps in taking care of them. The results highlight, on a cognitive level, the need to deal with people's life stories; on the operational level, the importance of the cross-cultural approach to gender and proximity interventions to give personalized answers in social and health services
The paper presents the results of a case study on the balance between social policies and child educational poverty in a context marked by depopulation in Sardinia, with the aim to stress one of the most important factors of demographic desertification, the denatality associated with the structural deficiencies of work/life balance policies (and other forms of service poverty). Educational poverty is framed here in the study of the «Alta Marmilla» case, a pilot area for the experimentation of the National Strategy for Internal Areas. Launched in
2015, this experimentation saw the education sector among the priorities for intervention. The main considerations on the territorial context examined, using official documents and other secondary data relating to demographic trends and education, highlight the difficulty
of guaranteeing conciliation responses. The balance between work and life then has consequences on educational poverty, which is therefore a mirror of the delicate skin of the territory in which it occurs. At the same time it emerges that, precisely in the so-called fragility of the context, the SNAI strategy can favor participation and thus intercept the needs of working women with minor children, thus creating an important prerequisite for tracing forms of co-planning and promoting strategies for gender sensitive policies
The paper presents the first results of the START project, created by the University of Sassari with the aim to build an alliance between academic and professional knowledge to combat gender-based violence, thanks to the involvement of the Antiviolence Centers in central northern Sardinia. In this case study the anti-oppressive practice is distinguished as a set of reflective actions that engage institutions and professions in the timely "competent recognition" of domestic violence to avoid oppressive social dynamics in the helping relationship
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
