No full textL’educazione degli adulti è lo strumento fondamentale dello sviluppo della persona finalizzato alla creazione di utensili e metodi aggiornabili e trasferibili per leggere la realtà ed interagire in modo positivo con il mondo che cambia. È sostanziata quindi da “saperi” diversi per oggetto e per statuto interno, ma tutti orientati a costruire un nuovo senso di cittadinanza, di responsabilità collettiva, di partecipazione consapevole, e a fornire quindi la possibilità concreta di governare fenomeni come i mutamenti demografici, i movimenti migratori, i processi di integrazione ed inclusione sociale nella prospettiva di un modo diverso di produrre, di vivere, di consumare.
È questo, nella diversità e nella ricchezza dei diversi punti di vista e dei diversi linguaggi il leitmotiv di questo volume, che raccoglie alcune delle relazioni e dei contributi che studiosi di varie discipline hanno svolto nel corso del 1° Festival dei Saperi tenutosi a Firenze il 23 e 24 gennaio 2009.

Full text linkDalla prefazione di Tomaso Montanari, sulla questione della valutazione di stato della ricerca: "Le argomentazioni che leggerete sono in parte teoriche e in parte tecniche, e valgono per ogni disciplina. Ma la posta in gioco è politica, nel senso più alto: e il perché lo sintetizza molto bene la citazione incastonata nel titolo del contributo di Maria Chiara Pievatolo: “Caesar supra grammaticos”. Il punto, cioè, è il controllo (non importa quanto diretto, o quanto facilitato da cedimenti interni alla comunità scientifica) che il potere esecutivo esercita sulla ricerca: un controllo che nega in radice quell’autonomia della ricerca che dovrebbe essere intoccabile, a garanzia di tutte e tutti."From the preface by Tomaso Montanari, on the question of administrative and centralised evaluation of research: "The arguments you are about to read are partly theoretical and partly technical, and they apply to every discipline. Full text linkWhile the EU is building an open access infrastructure of archives (e.g. OpenAIRE) and it is trying to implement it in the Horizon 2020 program, the gap between the tools and the human beings – researchers, citizen scientists, students, ordinary people – is still wide. The necessity to dictate open access publishing as a mandate for the EU funded research – ten years after the BOAI - is an obvious symptom of it: there is a chasm between the net and the public use of reason. To escalate the advancement and the reuse of research, we should federate the multitude of already existing open access journals in federal open overlay journals that receive their contents from the member journals and boost it with their aggregation power and their semantic web tools. The article contains both the theoretical basis and the guidelines for a project whose goals are: 1. making open access journals visible, highly cited and powerful, by federating them into wide disciplinary overlay journals; 2. avoiding the traps of the “authors pay” open access business model, by exploiting one of the virtue of federalism: the federate journals can remain little and affordable, if they gain visibility from the power of the federal overlay journal aggregating them; 3. enriching the overlay journals both through semantic annotation tools and by means of open platforms dedicated to host ex post peer review and experts comments; 4. making the selection and evaluation processes and their resulting data as much as possible public and open, to avoid the pitfalls (e. g, the serials price crisis) experienced by the closed access publishing model. It is about time to free academic publishing from its expensive walled gardens and to put to test the tools that can help us to transform it in one open forest, with one hundred flowers – and one hundred trailblazers

Its goal is showing that Kant by "persönliches Recht" did not mean a fundamental right of the person, but simply a right concerning relations among persons. It is sufficient to see Kant's definition of "persönliches Recht" in MdS §18 to realize it.
For this reason, it is a mistake to assert that Kant endorsed intellectual property as a basic human right. From his point of view, the right to publish a book depended only on a personal contract between the author and the publisher
